Let's find out if it should be Easter of Passover. According to the book of Acts they took Peter during the days of unleavened bread. Any time you see something in parenthesis in the KJV pay close attention, God is trying to show us something.

Act 12:1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
Act 12:2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
Act 12:3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
Act 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
Act 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

According to the book of Leviticus the 14th day of the month was passover. Then on the next day, the 15th day of the month, the feast of unleavened bread begins.

Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover.
Lev 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

If they took Peter during the days of unleavened bread, then Passover had already past. Now tell me, were they waiting for Easter to bring him forth to the people or were they going to wait a whole other year to bring him before the people. No, it shouldn't be Passover, it should be Easter just like the KJV says.

One lie that you have probably been told is that Easter is some Romanized Catholic church thing that was not observed by pagans at time of the book of Acts, but this is not true. Easter is the celebration of the sacred feminine AKA - Ishtar, Isis, Ashteroth, Gaia, Venus and probably many other names that I'm not aware of.

Read the online version of the Two Babylons by Alexander Hislop and Foxe's Book of Martyrs by John Foxe?

We should use the perfect, time-tested version that the Holy Spirit ordained through the work of learned men. The language and words used will never pass away, and people should commit themselves to learning from the true Bible. All modern vernacular translations use flawed sources that deny the Lord's true words, and we should burn any Bible heretically translated using them.
-- The Roman Catholic Church, ca.1500

Satire, right?

You know, I'm pretty sure the people that translated up to the KJV didn't care that the pagans and heretics were creating their own versions of the KJV and feeding it back into the Christian Church, as a back-handed mechanism used by the Mother Harlot Church to exercise absolute sovereignty over Christians who escaped from the tyrranical latin valgate apostacy... ?? huh

Yep, if'n it were good 'nuff fer them 'postles, it be good 'nuff fer us'ns. I Like the KJV and use it a lot, I also use the NKJV more and more these days. The real source of truth is not a version of the scriptures...

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Yes and no.

Yes, you cannot understand the Bible without the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit is Jesus and the Father as One. Every other god, demon, angel is not the Holy Spirit...

No, the Bible is explicit. If you tamper with God's artifacts, He will curse you - and probably throw you in hell. Many Textual Critics are going to hell when they die

Go us.....another Ruckmanite!!!!

I was never told the lie about Easter and knew about it as you described it...

Tell me, Does DOC still hate minorities and still use vile and vulgar profanity when people disagree with him? Does he still wish to physically kill all Apostates with hand grenades?

Oh and how are his 3 ex wives and kids doing? Have they been recovered from all those years of physicall and mental abuse? Does DOC still believe that having physical sex before getting married means you are married under the eyes of God, even though you are not married before the eyes of men? DOes DOC still believe the translators of the KJB were INFALLIBLE!?!?

Yo DUDE, what's up?

how's your buddy the devil doing?

I think that if Jesus has a sense ofhumour he is dying.

Remember how he rejoiced in Spirit because GOD had hidden things.....

He is still in the same business.

God never showed you squat, you sound like your god...Dr. Peter Ruckman....and ruckman says "The KJV is the inerrant word of God for English speaking people, God showed me that a long time ago. My faith is firm in God and his word" al the time...

Take your cultist beliefs somehwere else ruckmanite...

idk who ruckman is.

i dont really care.

what i do care about is world history and studying and being an actual researcher

u sir are no researcher, and from what i can tell - most of what u say is unintelligent.

wordsponge, if you are involved in freemasonry or witchcraft, you should definitely leave.

also, no, it's not about "secrets" it's about the gospel.

If you are keeping the gospel secret, then you are not living it.

Just because you THINK that you are Christian, does not mean it is the same in Heaven.

The Bible teaches that we must emulate the Will of the Father.

And also, when Jesus talked in parables, they actually made sense. You could compare them with the OT, and they effected you supernaturally.

But also, just because a person can use metaphors, rhetoric and persuasive devices, does not mean one is lead by the Spirit. So you have to let God be the difference. Not your own mind.

People if you have an axe to grind with the KJV, then rather eat your axe. It is an utter waste of time. There are literally hundreds of different translations. I haven't, myself, even started looking into their individual history, but good logic will tell you that means something is wrong. If you just want to be a sell out and follow so-called popular opinions, then your faith will eventually jump off a cliff. Also, history is not something that is easily hid. But telling a lie over and over again, and convincing people that they are stupid is very easy. People, you are not stupid, and if you are having doubts then do the actual research.

And as I just said, the Catholic Church of the Inquisition that killed Jews and Christians by the Millions to prevent the spread of Christianity to the Middle East, while the Popes created Islam to dominate the Middle East... these people also made hundreds of different bible versions to confuse the meanings of our teachings so that they could no longer be used as actual law in the land....... then they created social evolutionism to justify their involvement with crime syndicates and porn and drug cartels.....

So, again, people you really have to look at the bigger pictures.

The aliens in the north pole btw...... it all has to do with textual critics destroying people's faith so that the mega evil can fornicate with demons and angels. That's about it.

Notice how only the grey areas are debated, such as this ongoing thing about easter and passover, but the obvious nut job claims are ignored and not addressed.

I am still waiting for a proper explanation as to why Nosering is unacceptable but earing is.

By old KJV I assume you mean the original 1611. I have a copy of the 1611 version complete with weird spellings and Roman numerals. It says exactly the same thing all other KJV's say - earring. Maybe you haven't researched this? Maybe you heard or read that from a KJV bashing website and swallowed it hook line and sinker without ever investigating it? You know you can find the copy have on line. Just google it.

Oh dear... yet another skirting the issue. I have not read anything on a King James Bashing website, I dont go to those either, I love the King James, that is one thing you people fail to understand, that I LOVE THE KING JAMES BIBLE, its just all the nonsense you claim about being the perfect bible that I do not accept and never will.

Anyway, In the King James, it says Earing, correct, I took this from the AV1611 website, The New King James Bible: Counterfeit again I quote.

Genesis 24:47: The "old" KJV reads: "I put the earring upon her face". But the NKJV has different plans for beautiful Rebekah: "I put the nose ring on her nose". Where did it get the ridiculous idea to "cannibalize" Rebekah? Just take a peek at the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV!

Other bibles say NoseRing. Now if you are to accept that every capital letter, every full stop and comma in the King James is perfect from God, then obviously you can not have Nose Ring in any other Bible correct? So therefore a ridiculous claim has to be made to snub and pour doubt on the use of Nose Ring, so the best that we so far is the claim that it Cananbalses Rebekah.

If anyone needs to do research then its yourslef and your cult leaders. for millions of people and numerous cultures around the world, it is still standard practice to place a ring in the nose to indicate a person is engaged to be married. In India the rings are often replaced with small studs for everyday wearing, but come wedding and other occasions, elaborate expensive rings are put in.Noseringsmall.jpgnosering2smll.jpg

This practice is not really found in MIddle East this day and age, the peopels who practice it and were around in the days of Rebekah have now long gone or simple displaced, moved on or converted to Islam and stopping the practice as a result.

A number of cultures in Africa still practice this, and quite interestingly, there origins can be traced back thousands of years to Middle East.

Therefore Nose Ring is correct use of the word. Obviously the translators of the King James were not that inspired to allow this inaccurate translation to creep in, which is enough proof for myself to show that your claims about the King James is miss-placed and false.

which Inquisition are you referring to? if you make them one, they lasted about 500 years.

could you provide your sources for this claim - "by the Millions"?

what's your source for this?

The older mss have it the way the new translations do. You say God said it the way the Kjv does. How can you prove this? You can't. Closer to originals time wise is more reliable.

The older manuscripts survived because they weren't used.
They weren't used because they were known to be corrupt.
The older manuscripts aren't "originals", they were copied with an agenda.
The Sinaiticus was found in the garbage because it is garbage.
What was used and copied thousands of times is more reliable.

IMO Jesus, lol... idk, what you think?

The KJV and the NKJV are not the same bible - they disagree with one another. I don't read nor recommend anyone read the NKJV.

You are totally avoiding my question. Are you incapable of giving me a reason why Nose ring is wrong and Ear Ring is right and why it is being raised as a point to prove the NIV, NKJV etc are evil?

Ah another one putting words into our mouths...The whole debate about which version is the real word of God is FOOLISHNESS!

If I misunderstood your position, I do apologize! And just so I will be clear, do you think it is foolish to defend the version of the Bible that God Almighty allowed to surface and flourish in the first time and place of the freedom to read it to the hearts content? And do you defend that other versions were needed and acceptable?
