You have it right on, except you are human. Shame. After you are born again, after you put on Christ, after you determine to follow Christ, there is still weakness in you. You still are given the right, minute by minute, to choose what you do, what you think about, how you live. With all you say, you are almost there, you are blessed, you are helped, but you are not perfect. You must choose your walk.

3. Don't take the name of God in vane.
4. Remember Shabbat to keep it holy.
5. Honor your father & mother.
6. Don't murder.
7. Don't commit adultery.
8. Don't steal.

10. Don't covet.

So, just wondering here, but IF we keep/obey Jesus when He said:

Matthew 22:36) Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 .) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 .) This is the first and great commandment.
39 .) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 .) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.


WHICH OF THOSE YOU LISTED WOULD WE BE BREAKING?

  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
The 4th one can be altered slightly, I think.
God Almighty give you special dispensation to do this, did He?

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Luk 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

ahh I don't get you, what I meant was that you don't have to fully follow the 4th commandment, as people need to work, and might have to spread out worship and time to speak to God throughout the week.
Where is your faith? You don't think god can provide? People were sawn in half for obeying God.

Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

verse 8 "Oh but I might lose my job." And God says...

Exo 34:21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

"The crops need harvested and it looks like rain tomorrow." And God says...

Keep the Two Greatest that Jesus taught............and the rest will be kept.

Thou shalt love thy God.........

Thou shalt love thy Neighbor......

(rest will follow......they ALL hang on these to according to Jesus)

:)
Notice that ALL the Commandments Hang on these two. They are not destroyed by these two.

You can keep one or the other, it is up to you. But if you were to forget to wash your hands before you eat, you has violated one, and if you violated one, you have violated them all. So you'll be consider endanger of hell's fire. So it is best to follow Christ, because people will make many of mistakes, and Jesus can look over your mistakes, because He knows that we are imperfect.
Uh, can you show me the Commandment about washing your hands?

Uh, can you show me the Commandment about washing your hands?
It was customary for them to keep themselves physically clean, or you will be considered to be defile. I believe that everyone should become like Jews in order to understand the scriptures. I use to observe the Laws whole heartedly. And in the scriptures it says to not eat or touch anything that isn't kosher, and even anyone or thing that touches anything that came into contact with unclean items. And remember the Jews had live among the Pagans and the ones that didn't kept the laws. Believe me it is hard to keep yourselves from being defile while living among the defile. You have to keep on washing yourself all the time and keeping away from defile, and wait 24 hours until you become clean. Until the Holy Spirit came into the picture, then I understand that the laws were for to preserved the flesh, but not for the spirit.

Exodus 30:17 Then the Lord said to Moses, 18 “Make a bronze basin, with its bronze stand, for washing. Place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it. 19 Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from it. 20 Whenever they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting a food offering to the Lord, 21 they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.”

Exodus 19:10
And the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes

Luke 10:11
‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’

John 13:8 “No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.”
Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”
9 “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”

I believe there are actually more then 10 commandments in scripture. (He didn't just stop at the ones on the stones) A command is when someone of authority tells you to do something with authority. So for instance this scripture: Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another:... You can see he didn't say, " If you wouldn't mind or could you please or even if you feel like it. So he has commanded us to owe no man anything but love.

Sure. Help your neighbor round up his cattle and mend a hole in his fence that his cattle escaped through on the sabbath.

Faith and love are above the law. Christ is lord of the sabbath. Only carnal people obsess over the letter. GOD is interested in obedience to the spirit.

The first four commandments address man’s relationship with God; God is to be the sole object of worship, and He will not tolerate idolatry. His name is to be revered, and the Sabbath is to be a sign that God is Creator, and that man is His special creation. The other six commandments deal with man’s relationship with man.

First four is to God and Man
Last six is to Man to Man

Love God:

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
