It appears from your posts that somewhere along the line you have been taught that salvation is a one-time thing and that a Christian has no responsibility after that initial acceptance of God's gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus. That is not the truth. God DOES require things of us as people who claim to be His. My advice is that you start searching the scriptures for yourself as the Bereans did in the book of Acts. Don't just accept what others tell you as gospel truth.

So then please answer this for me please:
[h=3]Colossians 1:21-23[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]21 [/SUP]And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled [SUP]22 [/SUP]in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: [SUP]23 [/SUP]if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

God loves us through Christ Jesus so much that He did what needed to be done to separate us from sin. If we are to love others, and our enemies as ourselves, we would desire to do all we can to follow suit with Christ in that respect. Warm fuzzies don't make it.

John 15:12-14 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Jesus taught Old Testament before His death.

Hebrews 9:16-17 (KJV)
[SUP]16 [/SUP]For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

God's teaching of the old was for to fulfill and show us at the same time our inability obey Law perfectly read Matt 19 our inability to be perfect where the disciples asked how then is it possible for anyone to enter heaven seeing how no one not even them could be perfect
There is a before the cross and after. An old and a new on one of Love. Mercy, and last sacrifice to be made perfect in and through Son's death to be presented to Father Holy to receive new life in the Spirit of God by the resurrected Christ, being led by God in the Holy Spirit to walk as son walked in love to all
Believe, receive and see

So when you say love is all we need and someone disagrees they are attacking you? I have yet to see you post scripture showing your position. All you have posted so is "everybody is picking on me". Over and out.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Emotion is the thief when emotion is in the lead of thought.
A train has an engine (truth) and a caboose (emotion) depending on which is leading is the besetting.
do you love her as God loves you?

even Paul was a Pharisee sometime...:) lol

As Saul was righteous in what he did until:
Then he saw it this way
Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Reckoned himself dead to flesh sin:
Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Saw by Christ's death he was :
Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

therefore he saw the doorway to new life and that was to be made conformable:
Philippians 3:10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
So that he might see:
Philippians 3:11 if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

nooooooooooooooooooooooo, can u?

Phil 3:1-11 conversion from the self to God's Spirit in the lead
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Sooooooo, how long you been a member here? You sound awfully familiar. Sure we haven't met somewhere before? Just askin....final question. do you ever break the commandments?:)

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

So we are to walk how? by Faith in God to do in us what flesh can not do in and of self ever?
Or use God as a scape goat and do whatever since we are forgiven> God forbid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But this is not something anyone can ever do of themselves or with help
It is by Faith first and utmost that one is saved, Faith in the finished work of Christ in and at the cross of

Four days.
I do not know who you are.
Yes, I break the commandments.

Die daily as to be co-crucified with Christ's death in the flesh and go deeper and deeper daily and you will see to walk as he walked in 100% dependence on Father's lead. this is first what his death is and was is for you to be dead to self here on earth and thus in trust to the living Spirit of Father to lead you in Father's love and not man's comdemnation

What is love?
John 14:15

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

[SUP]15 [/SUP]“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

The commandments are LOVE the greatest of the Law and no flesh can love god's way without being born again, not possible
Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Flesh stinks and God lives and nom one can truly love until they see first:
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
1 John 2:2 and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Have I offended you, sorry for that, all I said is what came to mind to say. Did I make an accusation against you or anyone?
It seems you are offended, sorry, I not know why
Love you and all the rest here as God does unconditionally

I am compelled to prove the one “covenant,” not two, that involves Christ Jesus, and the writings of Moses that God commanded beginning on the third day of the third month after the Exodus. There are four chapters, starting with chapter twenty that Moses wrote after hearing the “words of the Lord. They are chapters twenty through twenty-three.
Exodus 24:3-8 (KJV)
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

Hebrews 9:19-20 (KJV)
[SUP]19 [/SUP]For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

John 19:34 (KJV)
[SUP]34 [/SUP]But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

1 John 5:6-8 (CJB) 6. He is the one who came by means of water and blood, Yeshua the Messiah - not with water only, but with the water and the blood. And the Spirit bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth.
7.There are three witnesses
8. the Spirit, the water and the blood - and these three are in agreement..

This seems to me as a clear picture of Jesus Christ being in the beginning, and being the first born, and the shedding of His blood, as mighty, having the blood and water flow from his side after He was speared to confirm His death.

Particularly, in the “Feast of Tabernacles,” we can find that there were certain measurements of flour mixed with oil to be offered with the Bullock, being an allegory, or comparison, representing the attributes, and sovereignty of Jesus Christ. This measurement was called an “omer.”

According to the Hebrew pictorial language, the sheaf and omer are the same. (Strong’s 6016) It means to watch, and know that the blood, and water are mighty from the beginning, from the first, and we are to continue as an heir of this promise or, if you will, covenant, as it was from the beginning.

A sheaf was to be held up, during the “Feast of Weeks” and waved as “firstfruits,” presenting it before God.

Leviticus 23:9-12 (KJV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

1 Corinthians 15:20 (KJV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP]But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

There is one allegorical covenant, making two covenants, yet there is one testimony one Lord, and one God. The difference is between the two is that the first is physical, and the other is spiritual, and the first is a parable of the second.

Galatians 4:24 (KJV)
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

Rejecting any part of God’s words spoken to Moses together with the spoken words of Christ Jesus this is “breaking covenant” with God, in my estimation. You can argue about this all day long, but the Word of God has not changed. The only change is the temple is now within those who believe, rather than we being in the temple made by the hands of man, even though that was a directive from God to Moses.

1 Corinthians 8:6 (KJV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP]But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Ephesians 4:4-6 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
[SUP]5 [/SUP]One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
[SUP]6 [/SUP]One God and Father of all
, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Why is this then written:
[h=3]Hebrews 9:15-17[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]15 [/SUP]And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. [SUP]16 [/SUP]For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

[h=3]Hebrews 7:11-12[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]11 [/SUP]If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? [SUP]12 [/SUP]For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

I know there is only one covenant and it the same as in the order of Melchisadek, and the people faltered trying to be perfect as even today fro the :
Galatians 4:29
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Bottom line no matter which way anyone slices, dices and or cubes, the battle is between flesh and the Spirit of God
There is a flesh covenant in man's flesh to either do what is right or not. Matters not for no flesh can please God ever.
It is the Spirit of God that does te setting free and nothing else
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

The new covenant brings life, the old death, I prefer to follow God in te Sirit of God where no sin can occur ever
Thanks

Does the new temple negate the instructions given in the old? Reread post # 158, and know that the temple worship has great significance. I think then you will see the relationship that God has intended from the beginning. Our God doesn't do anything for naught.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 (KJV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP]The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)

I found your errors all over your writings, yet I believed the best about you. I believed you were doing your best to be a good teacher. Until I came to post 271. Now I see you handle God's Word deceitfully because you will not accept that Jesus brought in an entirely NEW Covenant. This is error, and you have developed a way to make it appear that anyone who disagrees with you is a fool or some other thing. I see your greivious error and I will not listen you, nor interact with you any longer.
Everyone should study that writing (271) very carefully and see you are one Paul would curse. I will not listen to you. You are a false teacher. You do not understand the Law, nor the Covenants, not God's Purposes. But I saw you say you are compelled to do it.
There are smooth words and people who say they are peacemakers, and sometimes they are. But in this thread I have seen a terrible evil. And it is on your head.

Ezekiel 37:26 (NAS) 26 "I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will place them and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever.

John 5:46-47 (NAS) 46 "For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. 47 "But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words ?"

Romans 8:4-9 (NAS) 4 so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.5 For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God ; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.

Romans 7:12-16 (NAS) 12 So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. 13 Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful. 14 For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand ; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. 16 But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good.

Exodus 24:8 (NAS) 8 So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, "Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words."

Isaiah 24:5 (NAS) 5 The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant.

Hebrews 12:24 (NAS) 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.

So, why would there be two separate covenants that are identical – one physical in the Old Testament, and an identical one, which is spiritual in the New Testament? I wish professing Christians could understand this because it would build faith and help restore the relationship God created us for.

Hebrews 13:20 (NAS) 20 Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, 21 equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Tell me why I need to add or to see anything further outside of my Savior Christ for he is the propitiation for me and all that believe and therefore he walks through me in Spirit, and I am not really me anymore, yet walk as he walked in Love, God getting all the credit
I am kind of seeing like Paul did, when he went against those that mixed Law and grace, adding Circumcision and whatever they could to bring them the Galatians back into captivity under their rule, Saying yes it is okay that I believe in Christ then comes the "BUT" you need to see this or do that
Matthew 23
Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: all therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. ...
Matthew 6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
Matthew 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

That last verse had that happen to me, been there done that
Christ is my salvation and through Christ I have been made perfect

I am hearing from a great swelling of words and man's wisdom, and whether I am right about this or not, you know whether or not what you are doing, and it causes division and lack of belief and a great pride in those that see this great wisdom you claim to have.
1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

I might be wrong but it seems your Faith stands in the wisdom of men, only you know the truth here, and praying you are not confusing others on purpose as if you got it and they don't.

I believe its quite clear.

1) We entered a covenant when we accepted JESUS as our Lord and saviour
2) We became New creatures(have a new beginning)
3) Now we need to Walk as new creatures (Daily do the word of GOD and die to SELF)
4) Be obedient to the word of GOD
5) Be Led by the Holy Spirit
6) We are not Israelites but the moral laws still stand and can learn from the Laws God gave the Israelites as the Spirit leads
7) Righteousness is attained through FAITH in CHRIST(Romans 10:9-10). And the LORD carries with HIM everything HE TAUGHT.
8) We should stop being lazy and do the work GOD commands us at HIS time...

No offence, but once i felt like people in CC do much Arguing in CC, and discussing things here than Going out there and preaching, teaching, Healing the sick, and all the Works of GOD.
Like CC is a place to chill and be lazy and let angels do the work GOD wants US to do..

I agree! And further, I believe that modern day churches - not speaking of any one denomination here - are full of malnourished, starving to death professing Christians. Pastors are not feeding the sheep and real worship is all but non-existent, which leaves the people unable to edify one another. And because of that...maybe we should be glad they are in here arguing rather than teaching to others the half-baked doctrines of men that the great majority of churches propagates today. But that still leaves a world full of people who need Jesus not attended to. The subject of modern churches and what they call worship being a starvation diet for the congregations, would incite much more hateful arguing in here than I am up to dealing with right now...but I have considered starting a thread on that, hoping some would evaluate both what I say and their church, and learn, and then listen to God to hear what He wants them to do.
