If the modern day State of Israel is really Judah, the question is who and where is Israel today?

God said He would re-gather Israel back in the Land (Note: This prophecy was fulfilled in one day - on May 14, 1948)

[SUP]Isiah
8 [/SUP]Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

"He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the Earth." (Not just Babylon ...)
(Isaiah 11:12)

"Thus says the Lord God, ' Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own Land."

(Ezekiel 37:21) ('Nations' plural ... this is not their return from Babylon)

Ezekiel 36 1 Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord: [SUP]8 [/SUP]But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.[SUP]24 [/SUP]For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
[SUP]37:21 [/SUP]And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
Now, search through history for a sovereign nation Israel . . .

Why do Gentiles forget that Jesus was a Jew?

I am going to pretend that your thread is simply titled:

HE COMES BACK!

And I am also going to pretend that every post, yep all 123 of them, simply say:

Amen.

How I have understood, according to Jews, when the ten lost tribes are found, then Messiah will come. It may be when those ten lost tribes are rediscovered, Yeshua will return for all of Israel?

Ezekiel has always been an unsolved puzzle for me. I read it, and I understand the words, but the order of many things contained in it baffle the mind and soul.
I do know the Temple is referred to not only as Ezekiel's Temple but also by many Jews as Messiah's Temple which lends to much meditation, more on my part...................

It is a puzzle. We know that Yah has spoke comes to pass. As history unfolds more understanding is achieved. It is only in retrospect we see these things. Yes, sometimes we misinterpret, and prophesy is repeated, math also comes into play, and many things we do not yet understand.

Sometimes when I think I may have figured it out, I was wrong....

God has a covenant with Israel that will never be broken. He has revealed a destiny for the nation Israel which will soon be completed.

God has declared a new covenant (see Jeremiah 31:31) and destiny for a people to be drawn from the whole world, through His Messiah, including any and all of the children of Israel who recognize and come to know their Messiah from Scripture. This new covenant is a promise for all who believe in Him (Jesus Christ ... Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) ... also sent forth as 'a light unto the Gentiles') and will accept Him as their Lord and Savior.

Nope, this is a Millenial prophecy.

Isa 66:8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.
Isa 66:9 Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?" says the LORD. "Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?" says your God.
Isa 66:10 "Rejoice with Jerusalem, And be glad with her, all you who love her; Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn for her;
Isa 66:11 That you may feed and be satisfied With the consolation of her bosom, That you may drink deeply and be delighted With the abundance of her glory."
Isa 66:12 For thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, And the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. Then you shall feed; On her sides shall you be carried, And be dandled on her knees.

How are Israel and the Gentiles doing currently? Peace flowing like a river in Gaza?

Isa 66:13 As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem."
Isa 66:14 When you see this, your heart shall rejoice, And your bones shall flourish like grass; The hand of the LORD shall be known to His servants, And His indignation to His enemies.

Is the Eternal well known in Jerusalem today?

Isa 66:15 For behold, the LORD will come with fire And with His chariots, like a whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire.
Isa 66:16 For by fire and by His sword The LORD will judge all flesh; And the slain of the LORD shall be many.

Rev 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.
Rev 19:13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
Rev 19:15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,
Rev 19:18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great."
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
Rev 19:20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Isa 66:17 "Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves, To go to the gardens After an idol in the midst, Eating swine's flesh and the abomination and the mouse, Shall be consumed together," says the LORD.
Isa 66:18 "For I know their works and their thoughts. It shall be that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory.

Has Egypt, Assyria (Germany) and Israel become one today...

Isa 19:18 In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear by the LORD of hosts; one will be called the City of Destruction.
Isa 19:19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD at its border.
Isa 19:20 And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the LORD because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them.
Isa 19:21 Then the LORD will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to the LORD and perform it.
Isa 19:22 And the LORD will strike Egypt, He will strike and heal it; they will return to the LORD, and He will be entreated by them and heal them.
Isa 19:23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians.
Isa 19:24 In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing in the midst of the land,
Isa 19:25 whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, "Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance."

Isaiah was looking far down the road to the time when Christ would return and bring the Kingdom of God.

God said He would re-gather Israel back in the Land (Note: This prophecy was fulfilled in one day - on May 14, 1948)

Just a quick note here, there are more Jews living in New York than what we call the State of Israel today.

"He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the Earth." (Not just Babylon ...)
(Isaiah 11:12)

Let's look at Isa 11...

Isa 11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
Isa 11:2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
Isa 11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
Isa 11:4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

Again, Rev 19.

Isa 11:5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
Isa 11:6 "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den.

Even the nature of wild animals will be changed at the restoration of all things...

Act 3:20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,
Act 3:21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.

I wish we could say this today, but this only occurs at the return of Christ and the Millenium.

Isa 11:10 "And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious."
Isa 11:11 It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

This has not happened yet...

Lev 26:14 'But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments,
Lev 26:15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant,
Lev 26:16 I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Lev 26:31 I will lay your cities waste and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the fragrance of your sweet aromas.
Lev 26:32 I will bring the land to desolation, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.
Lev 26:33 I will scatter you among the nations and draw out a sword after you; your land shall be desolate and your cities waste.

Remember this is Israel not Judah.

Deu 28:63 And it shall be, that just as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you and bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess.
Deu 28:64 "Then the LORD will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known—wood and stone.
Deu 28:65 And among those nations you shall find no rest, nor shall the sole of your foot have a resting place; but there the LORD will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and anguish of soul.
Deu 28:66 Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life.
Deu 28:67 In the morning you shall say, 'Oh, that it were evening!' And at evening you shall say, 'Oh, that it were morning!' because of the fear which terrifies your heart, and because of the sight which your eyes see.
Deu 28:68 "And the LORD will take you back to Egypt in ships, by the way of which I said to you, 'You shall never see it again.' And there you shall be offered for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you."

Deu 28:47 "Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything,
Deu 28:48 therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the LORD will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you.
Deu 28:49 The LORD will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies, a nation whose language you will not understand,
Deu 28:50 a nation of fierce countenance, which does not respect the elderly nor show favor to the young.

Isa 10:5 "Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hand is My indignation.
Isa 10:6 I will send him against an ungodly nation, And against the people of My wrath I will give him charge, To seize the spoil, to take the prey, And to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
Isa 10:7 Yet he does not mean so, Nor does his heart think so; But it is in his heart to destroy, And cut off not a few nations.

Isa 11:12 He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.

(Ezekiel 37:21) ('Nations' plural ... this is not their return from Babylon)

Eze 37:15 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Eze 37:16 "As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: 'For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.' Then take another stick and write on it, 'For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.'
Eze 37:17 Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.
Eze 37:18 "And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, 'Will you not show us what you mean by these?'—
Eze 37:19 say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand." '
Eze 37:20 And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.
Eze 37:21 "Then say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;
Eze 37:22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.
Eze 37:23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
Eze 37:24 "David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them.
Eze 37:25 Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children's children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever.

Again, notice the time frame? The resurrected David is not ruling over Israel and Judah both united under God's government. Neither are the twelve Apostles each ruling over one tribe today...

Mat 19:28 So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Just a quick note here, there are more Jews living in New York than what we call the State of Israel today.

When I was in Israel, 1972-73, this was said, and it was true, but I believe those figures have reversed since then....

Again, a wonderful promise for the future...

Eze 36:24 For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.
Eze 36:25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

This certainly hasn't happened yet

Eze 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.

Neither Israel or Judah has been converted and given the Holy Spirit across the board and walk in the Law of God.

Eze 36:28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.
Eze 36:29 I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.
Eze 36:30 And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations.
Eze 36:31 Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations.

Deep heartfelt repnetance and a turning wholeheartedly to God.

Eze 36:32 Not for your sake do I do this," says the Lord GOD, "let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel!"
Eze 36:33 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will also enable you to dwell in the cities, and the ruins shall be rebuilt.
Eze 36:34 The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by.
Eze 36:35 So they will say, 'This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.'
Eze 36:36 Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it."
Eze 36:37 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "I will also let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do this for them: I will increase their men like a flock.
Eze 36:38 Like a flock offered as holy sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem on its feast days, so shall the ruined cities be filled with flocks of men. Then they shall know that I am the LORD." ' "

Soon, but not yet. We still must go through the time of Jacob's Trouble (the Great Tribulation). This will be the worst time in history for God's people, but the good news is it is a short time...

Hos 6:1 Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
Hos 6:2 After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.

After about 2-1/2 years, Israel and Judah will turn to God and be spared much of the horror of the Day of the Lord.

The following numbers from Israel may just be 'coincidental,' but they are worth noting . . .

1. When Prime-Minister Ariel Sharon first asked Israel's 21 member Security Council to vote on whether or not to "uproot" the Jews from Gaza all the Israeli news sites predicted it would be a very close vote, but the 21 member Security Council's final vote was 14 in favor of forcibly removing all Jews from Gaza and 7 against ... meaning exactly 2/3 of the nation's Security Council had no faith in God's Word that Gaza is part of Judah (Israel) and only 1/3 did have faith in God's Word that Gaza is part of Judah (Israel) ...

2. Then, when the vote went to the Israeli Knesset only 1/3 voted in favor of allowing their fellow Jews (from 'Judah') to stay in Gaza ... while 2/3 voted against God's Word (by either voting against their brethren in Gaza, Judah or "abstaining") ...

3. Then later, in a poll by Ha'aretz (Israel), only 1/3 of the people in Israel showed faith in God's Word by favoring to keep their brethren in Gaza (which is in Judah ... see Judges 1:18-20 and Joshua 14:13 - 15:13 ... then pull out a map.)
Bible Prophecy Israel and Jerusalem

I just found this interesting.

John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

True religion is not Aryan.
It is not Roman
It is not caucasion

though all of these are invited to become Jewish

Jesus is a Jew
all the bible was written by Jews
all the prophets were Jews
Abraham was a Jew
Jacob was a Jew
heaven will be full of Jews,
If you dont like them you wont be there

all those who walk into the gates of the New Jerusalem walk into a gate
made of pearl with a Jewish tribe name written over the door
I am going into the Levite door, how about you?

I love Jesus
I love his family
I love faithful Jews who follow God and his word faithfullly
It will be a wonderful Jewish place.

are you going in?

the gospel was sent to the GENTILES to CONVERT and Join Jesus family
that is very nice of God.

We will all be under Abrahams faith and Jesus blood
all

Beautiful post brother. I would hope that all who claim to be Christian would appreciate our Jewish brothers and sisters. The reality is, however, there is still much hatred for them.

Just stop it. All you guys ever do is make endless threads agreeing with each other...seriously would Jesus appreciate anything that is going on here?

lol. I can't believe I overlooked this post! I think I may frame it and hang it on a wall!

We are agreeing to love and bless Israel, and you say Jesus would not approve? ha ha ha forgive me, but me thinks you have it all wrong.

Did you know that Paul teaches in Romans that the law is spiritual? Only those who have received the new nature given them by the Holy Spirit understand the law and the love of it, yet live in the full grace of Yahweh, God. It is freedom, yet in the spirit we obey all the laws. Studying them will only benefit the soul. Keep in mind there are good laws and bad laws. You should know the difference by your new nature, and watching and hearing the teaching of our Master, Jesus...

So true brother JJ. You said that so well. Exactly how I feel after having seriously studied the Word and with many tears. Our Father is so kind and full of grace, and then gave His Son to pay the penalty for our sin. I truly dedicate my life to Messiah. I thought I had done that many years ago, but I had not given my whole heart.

The law is spiritual, in righteousness. But it doesn't soak within as with the Holy Spirit. Our new nature is from within, not outside by law keeping you know that. You know that inner change must occur before outer change appears. Paul talks a lot about that in Romans. Jeremiah briefs it in prophecy.

What you fail to see is that it is the same Word! The written Word, God, Jesus Messiah, it's all the same. Those commandments in stone are what is written on my heart! The difference is that now I want to obey. Oh how I praise Him for that miracle!

Jews are designated by Yahweh, not dna or a current pedigree recognized by man. I am quite steady in my understanding of who and what a Jew is on every level. This has been my devotion since the 1960's, that is, to please Jesus, Yeshua, by recognizing His line, His tribe, His people, and what He has done for you, for me and for all mankind but thank you for your appraisal.

Just wanted to say you have style! Glad to call you friend.:)
