I still don't understand how SDA's or anyone else can claim they're keeping the sabbath. While all the calendars have 7 days, the sabbath isn't on the same day. They don't run parallel. If the sabbath isn't kept on the JEWISH calendar, it's being broke all over the place, with no excuse for the error. By their own judgement they are judged.

Matthew 7:2 (KJV) 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:37 (KJV) 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Luke 6:41-42 (KJV) 41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

MODERN CHRISTIANS WORSHIPPING THEIR HEATHEN GODS
--by tossing out the 7th Day Sabbath

...or, Why dont they get it, that God, who commanded them to rest every 7th Day from all work and worldly pursuits, wants to have an actual RELATIONSHIP with His people?

Those who accuse people that believe in keeping the 7th day Sabbath of being 'legalistic' are the ones who are TRULY legalistic, but they dont realize that.

The reason I say that they are legalistic?

The secret is that they view GOD HIMSELF of the Old Testament as being LEGALISTIC in giving us the Sabbath in the first place and requiring us to keep the 7th day Holy, and so they want to be RID OF IT.

THEN they view JESUS as 'the nice, loving, gentle, forgiving one' who came along and BROKE the Sabbath, and gave everyone some sort of a NEW LAW.. "just love everyone".

They dont have the SLIGHTEST CLUE of the real actual facts, which are these:

Jesus came here to earth to 'show us the Father' which was what He said in His own words. The JEWS were legalistic in how they kept the Sabbath God never intended on it being kept that way.

When JESUS came along, He showed HOW to really keep the Sabbath as God intended it to be kept in the first place.

Thats why He said "I did NOT come to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it". That is ALSO why when the Jews accused Him of BREAKING the Sabbath, that He said it is LAWFUL to pull your ox out of a ditch and it is LAWFUL to help someone on the Sabbath, etc. He was not advocating breaking the 7th Day Sabbath AT ALL. He was just teaching and showing everyone the proper way to keep it.

The Jews had a LEGALISTIC VIEW of God, and they acted it out in how they kept the Law and the Sabbath. Jesus came to clear away all of these misconceptions.

BUT modern 'Christians' today as a whole, are JUST LIKE THE JEWS, the only difference is that they try to do away with the Law AND the 7th Day Sabbath all in one swipe, claiming they LOVE GOD by doing it.

BOTH THINGS are outward 'holiness' with inward corruption, and BOTH THINGS are just trying to cling to sin (transgression of the Law).

And BOTH THINGS are at the root, caused by a LEGALISTIC VIEW of God.

The TRUE SABBATH-KEEPING has to do with realizing that God's people were to be singled out from amongst the heathen by keeping the Law, love God and love your neighbor, as demonstrated and expanded upon in all 10 commandments.... and that this was supposed to show the surrounding Nations, the Heathen, what God and His Government were really like, and thus they too would want to serve Him.

Dont you comprehend this? If one is truly BORN AGAIN, then God is their FATHER and what loving Son or Daughter would not realize that the rules their Father makes is for their own good, and then want to obey Him out of love and respect?

That is exactly what ATONEMENT means. At-One-Ment, or being at one with God. Romans says the carnal wicked mind is at enmity or is an ENEMY with God and with His Law. But the Spiritual mind is AT ONE with God. If you are AT ONE with God then you will also be AT ONE with His Law, His Government! That is what Jesus' sacrifice was all about, to put us back at ONE with God. Not just some sort of a sacrifice to appease an angry legalistic God! Dont you get it?

Rom:7:14: For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Rom:8:6: For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Rom:8:7: Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Stop trying to get rid of the spiritual LAW of God and get rid of SIN instead! In the olden days the wicked wanted to nail JESUS to the cross, because His perfect life, that ONE that perfectly kept the Law of God, was a REBUKE to their own sinful lives. So they killed Jesus.

Nowadays? The seek to nail HIS LAW to the Cross, instead. Crucify SELF! Not Jesus and/or the Law!The Law is what points out your sins. Stop trying to get rid of it, deceiving yourself that you are alright!
------------

Part 2

Im into REST while they claim Im into WORKS.

TRUE SABBATH-KEEPING has to do with the fact that we realize it is God who did all the works from the foundation of the World then rested, and we too are to rest in HIM. Also it is a Sign that it is He that sanctifies us, and not we ourselves. It is SIGN that we realize we must be HOLY as He is HOLY and that we must allow God to purify us from sin. not save us IN sin. We must be sanctified and we must allow God to sanctify us and make us holy, and cooperate with the Holy Spirit fully in accomplishing this.

And TRUE SABBATH-KEEPING has to do with the fact that we, as God's people, are UNLIKE THE HEATHEN in that we dont worship gods of stone, and nature itself like they did with the Baal-god. We instead worship the TRUE AND LIVING GOD, Creator of Heaven and Earth, THUS God wants to have a RELATIONSHIP with Him... every 7th Day we STOP all we are doing in a worldly sense, and actually spend the day with GOD.... because we love Him, and we have a RELATIONSHIP with Him.

But most of the Christian World, are just like the HEATHEN in that they just toss their 'God' a sacrifice, to appease Him (in this case, Jesus dying for them on the Cross) and then they go "Whew! Im so glad that ANGRY GOD isnt angry with me anymore!" ...then they go on their way, SINNING and continuing to transgress God's Law, demonstrating that they do not KNOW GOD and His ways AT ALL, if the did, then they would LOVE His ways, His Government, His Law... and gladly obey Him.

Just like the Heathen! Just like the Pharisees!

But they CANNOT SEE THAT!

If you get to where you understand all of what I just said to you, then you will truly understand the ROOT of their problem.
They are NOT worshipping the true and LIVING GOD at all. That is why on that day, Jesus will say "Depart from Me, I dont even KNOW YOU! ye that work LAWLESSNESS".

"He that saith he knows God yet keepeth not His commandments is a LIAR and the TRUTH is not in him".

Its all just THAT SIMPLE, they really dont WANT a true, living RELATIONSHIP with God. They want to toss God a SACRIFICE like the Heathen did with their false gods. Pacify the ANGRY GOD.

Thats why it is also just OKAY with them that their 'God' tortures people forever and ever and ever in Hell. That was the PAGAN FALSE GOD. They ALSO got that false doctrine from the Roman Catholic Church.

You see, its like this for them, "God is angry, but Jesus sacrificed Himself for your sins. Jesus loves you, please accept His sacrifice! ...but if you DONT then you will have to face this ANGRY VENGEFUL GOD who is going to torture you forever and ever and ever in Hell!" "No need to stop sinning, just toss God the sacrifice and He shall be APPEASED!"

Seriously, its nothing more than PAGANISM in a NEW PACKAGE!

Heaven will have no sin. You arent going to have to worry about your neighbor stealing your stuff, or killing you, or anything like that. Everyone there will have proper RESPECT for God's Law. Because simply put... God has allowed this demonstration of Satan's ways here on earth so that people could see how it would BE without God's Law. There wont be any rebellion in Heaven, it would NOT be Heaven if there were. Just common sense. And if you are rebellious against God and His Law NOW you wont suddenly CHANGE at the Resurrection! Therefore, you wont be ALLOWED into Heaven. Because you would ruin the PEACE and HAPPINESS there, if God were to allow you in.

Me legalistic? NO, ....THEY ARE!

I do agree with a lot of what you say, and you have many interesting thoughts here.

Some things I don't agree with is the idea that we won't be transformed to want to be in alignment with God. Right now we struggle against sinful flesh. But in the future we will put on new flesh and we will be like God, because we will see him as he is. And while most Christians I think may mean well, you are right that they do not want to follow a whole system of rituals. But I think a lot of their qualms come from not knowing that system and thinking it too hard to follow. It's really not that hard. And the "nailing of the Law to the cross" line just gives them a reason to not observe what they think is too complex and hard to observe.

Other than that, I believe these Christians will be in Paradise, but they will not be the highest ranking or receive the greatest gifts. Yes, there do appear to be different levels of gifts in Paradise. Some of them, doubtless though, are not Christians. But that's not for me to decide. The way I see it is that those who are willing to follow God's laws are the most dedicated to him and therefore readily show their faith by their works. But I think Matthew 15:14's description of the blind leading the blind does suit them. If you have a law that came from God that shows us our sins when we break it then that means by obeying it we wouldn't be sinning. And it must be sin to break that law for a reason. Could it be because it's what God wanted for us? And if so why did he want it for us? Maybe for our benefit. So I think anyone who thinks we shouldn't obey God's Law because then we're not really saved or that it does away with our salvation has clearly become blinded by modern nonsensical doctrines.

Exodus 20:10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.

Are our animals resting in Jesus now, too? Or is the physical Sabbath still for them? o_o

Well, you have the sabbath keepers that go to church on Sunday, then those on Saturday that go to church, then the ones that stay home and observe it(never go). For me i like to go to church on Sunday and there is my spiritual rest from the world.

Or Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri to hear the word and fellowship

I'm confused Guest... you quote this verse:

Jude 1:4
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Judging and condemning those you 'assume' are ungodly, or insulting them by saying they are worshiping other idols. Yet everyone here ACKNOWLEDGES the Lord Jesus Christ - which is the solid foundation we are all set on.

In the end the word of God (NEW COVENANT) states only that we have to have a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus, that HE alone is the way into heaven, we can only get to the Father through Him who died for our sins, Not through keeping the Sabbath, or abstaining from eating Pork, and so on and so on - but by the GRACE of knowing Jesus and serving HIM in truth.

If we are going to throw blame around here - which I don't usually do I'd do it by quoting from the LIVING WORD OF GOD:

[h=3]Romans 8:1-39[/h]There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.

I think you need to go back to the basics, Seek God. If you consider yourself to be the Judge of those who serve Jesus Christ, and blatantly accusing them of things you have SELECTIVE knowledge of, I'd go back to praying, because you might just be listening to your own zealous heart than to the gentle spirit of God who consumes us with the LOVE and Passion known as Agape - A Godly, Holy love.

We therefore without exception and without compromising HIS new covenant and his Grace - Claim that Jesus is the Son of God and the Holy one who is our Advocate before the Father.

In saying this - yes, there are many churches or christians who claim to believe, who claim to be on the right path and many of them are deceived by dogmatic practices and so forth - but is it for you to judge? Or is it for you to fall on your knees in reverence to God, and Plead before Him to bring these lost souls to the knowledge of His word according to HIS will and His Plan?

Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

hmm, I wonder if the State's Blue Law makers know this?

I don't understand your meaning. The seven days of the week have never been altered in Yahweh's calendar or in the Gregorian calendar. 1st day has always been first day, 7th day has always been the Sabbath. What are you thinking of exactly?

So you are trusting in self for six days, getting recharged for the next six days to ware out your flesh to hopefully come to rest and is why you need the recharge, becuase you are still woirking out of the energy of your own flesh to please others and God, is what I see Sister, been there done that for years and wore out, then God picked me up and showed me his rest in him through his Son Christ
I trust God through Christ every day and have rest found in the resurrected Christ everyday as I work or not work, no recharge needed in the Spirit of God
Something to think on, maybe you make the choice all, in love to you

Of course I'm working out of my flesh, because you know me intimately. How dare you judge my salvation, friend.

So far, you've thrown around a lot of verses that have nothing to do with the Sabbath and now you are saying that I am walking in the flesh by walking in obedience and enjoying the Day that Yahweh hath made? Do you hear yourself and what you are saying?

The Sabbath has never changed, it was never intended to be altered. I'm not walking in the flesh. Walking in the flesh means leaning on my own understanding, as you are doing, instead of believing every word that comes from the mouth of Yahweh Elohim. I choose to believe the creator of the universe. I'm sorry you don't.

Its a shame that many people focus so much on the "doing" and very little on the "faith". A lot of people are going to get to heaven and say "Lord, Lord. We did x and we did y in Your Name!! Let us in!!" And sadly, the reply will be "I never knew you." (Mat 7).
Rather focus on people getting to know Christ - which would lead to them having faith in Him - and let the Spirit guide them into "all truth" (John 16:13) instead of fighting with them to keep your understanding of The Word.

For the Sabbath keepers, I ask that you might truly rest in the Lord on that day. But just as you remember Jesus saying that he did not come to destroy the law (Mat 5:17) also remember that Jesus asked those who were so focused on the law and works if they were forgetting the weightier matters of the law - justice, mercy and faithfulness (Mat 23:23). The last line of that text says: "You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former." so don't neglect the law, but also do not forget to "practice the latter." Keeping the Sabbath will by no means gain you entrance through those pearly gates, forcing the Sabbath onto others might keep you out though.

I have been contemplating this question for a while now, and I would like to know:
Is it still a sin to kill? To lie? To steal? to commit adultery? To covet? To dishonor your parents? To place others before God? To worship idols? To take the Lords Name in vain?
Forget about Sabbath keeping, is the Law still our guide in showing what is sin and what is not?
If yes, does it mean that not keeping the Sabbath (no matter what day or where you keep it-not fighting for Saturday Sabbath) is a sin? (honest question guys, not trying to start up something here, im just asking myself these questions...) I don't want to keep 9 and neglect the 1. As we all know, if 1 is broken, all are broken (James 2:10). Or was James talking about another Law? If the Law is there to show us sin as Romans 7 says, is it a sin to not keep Sabbath? (again, not questioning about what day or anything like that - I just don't want to start up another topic when this is running. Or if I should, let me know!!)

AH yes, now that you reminded me I remember hahah...shows how low on my list she is!

I down loaded their (doctrinal) statement one time several years ago to show somebody how much she misses the mark on!

And yet most protestant churches today teach one of their fundamental (false) doctrines, that of the "Great Controversy".

"By calculating the eclipses, it can be proven that no time has been lost and the creation days were seven, divided into 24 hours each."—Dr. Hinkley, The Watchman, July 1926 [Hinkley was a well-known astronomer].

"The human race never lost the septenary [seven day] sequence of week days and that the Sabbath of these latter times comes down to us from Adam, though the ages, without a single lapse."—Dr. Totten, professor of astronomy at Yale University.

"Seven has been the ancient and honored number among the nations of the earth. They have measured their time by weeks from the beginning. The origin of this was the Sabbath of God, as Moses has given the reasons for it in his writings."—Dr. Lyman Coleman.

"There has been no change in our calendar in past centuries that has affected in any way the cycle of the week."—James Robertson, Director American Ephemeris, Navy Department, U.S. Naval Observatory, Washington, D.C., March 12, 1932.

"It can be said with assurance that not a day has been lost since Creation, and all the calendar changes notwithstanding, there has been no break in the weekly cycle."—Dr. Frank Jeffries, Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and Research Director of the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, England.

Neither the Gregorian calendar, the Lunar calendar or even the Mayan calendar determines the weekly cycle. It has continued since creation, regardless of which calendar is in use. Perhaps you can explain to us how the calendar determines the days of the week.

Oh and if you cannot determine the Sabbath, the seventh day, how do you determine xmas, Ishtar and Sunday? No one ever seems to have any problem determining these days.

I am not sister. Don't you see my name is blue not pink?

Sorry about that Brother, and am glad Gopd does not see gender as we do here on earth, ye thanks for the correction, and the reminder I am not perfect, thanking God that God is though

Christ is our rest but that does not change the fact that the 7th day is the only day blessed by God. No other day has been blessed. To deny that is to deny plain facts. Why do you have one of your posts with such large letters? I do not read posts where people are shouting.

Never meant as shouting, rather as pointing out a point. It is sad to me that when one highlights or raises the letters or capitalizes it is interpreted as shouting
How sad, anyway, that is an emotional response both ways and interpreted wrong,
I will try to respect you, even though there is no respect of persons before God. We are all the same and here to share and highlighting is to point out what we are trying to share importantly

None are "keeping evey day holy" It is impossible because we can not leave work, chores, etc alone every day and the bigger reason, "Yahweh blessed the Seventh Day and set it apart to be holy" (Gen 2). He did this not any man.

So the only way to worship in Spirit is to transgress the Commandment?

I think the misunderstanding comes from the misuse of "the Spirit of the Law and the letter of the Law"

the letter of the Law was in context the taking advantage of the written word to make a particular Law basically of no effect, the Pharisees "followed" the letter of the Law; example: "do not swear falsely in the name of Yahweh" Pharisees took the "letter" and said, we can lie as long as we dont put Yahweh's name on it. This is what Shaul is talking about when he says the letter of the Law.

the Spirit of the Law is the true intent of each particular Commandment, this does not mean one ignores the literal following of said Law, but follow it by its true intent.

So saying the Spirit is ignoring the written command and the letter is following it IS SERIOUS ERROR, but those whose heart is at enmity to Yahweh will never accept this, they will instead make an excuse, ignore, or twist a Scripture to justify their stance...

And in this place again: If they will enter into My rest. None of us have entered the kingdom yet, so all that want to need to diligently seek to submit to Yahweh in Yahshua Messiah.

Deuteronomy 18:18-19, "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it"

I just said what I see, so why are you offended in what I see about working out of the energy of one's own flesh and how that God is not pleased by flesh efforts.
Never meant to offend only spoke truth about flesh and the Spirit of God

Galatians 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Now is this quickening only one day a week?

I don't understand your meaning. The seven days of the week have never been altered in Yahweh's calendar or in the Gregorian calendar. 1st day has always been first day, 7th day has always been the Sabbath. What are you thinking of exactly?

From The Bible knowledge Commentary:
2:15-17. By fulfilling the demands of the Law, Christ disarmed the demonic powers and authorities (cf. 1:16; 2:10), triumphing over them (cf. 2 Cor. 2:14). As a result believers are delivered from these evil powers which inspire legalistic rules about foods and festivals. No one should judge you by what you eat or drink because Christians are free from the Law’s legalistic requirements (such as those in Lev. 11; 17; Deut. 14). God does not condemn those who eat everything (Rom. 14:1-4). In fact, God says that all foods may be eaten since they were “created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth” (1 Tim. 4:3). The teaching that forbids this, Paul wrote, is “taught by demons” (1 Tim. 4:1) whom Christ has disarmed (Col. 2:15). This liberation of believers pertains also to festivals such as a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath Day (cf. Gal. 4:10). Those who would bring Christians under the bondage of the Law make artificial distinctions between the “ceremonial” and “moral” law, and so they say the Sabbath has not passed away. That this is false can be seen from the following: (1) The Sabbath command is the only one of the Ten Commandments not repeated in the New Testament. (2) The early believers, following Christ’s resurrection and appearance on Sunday (Mark 16:1; John 20:1), met on Sundays (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 16:2). (3) The Bible nowhere distinguishes between the so-called “moral” and “ceremonial” laws (this distinction was not made before the 13th century a.d.) (4) This Colossian passage explicitly condemns those who command Sabbath obedience. (5) As Paul put it, the Old Testament Law (including the Sabbath) was only a shadow of the things that were to come. The reality or “substance” (sōma, lit., “body”), however, is to be found in Christ (cf. Heb. 8:5; 10:1). What the Old Testament foreshadowed, Christ fulfilled (cf. Matt. 5:17; Rom. 8:3-4). A “shadow” (skia) is only an image cast by an object which represents its form. Once one finds Christ, he no longer needs to follow the old shadow.

Now, it you want to make your claim of keeping the sabbath, you need to look at this first.

The year 2014, Gregorian calendar (ours) is the year 5774 on the Jewish calendar.

From Wikipedia:
Because of the roughly eleven-day difference between twelve lunar months and one solar year, the length of the Hebrew calendar year varies in the repeating 19-year Metonic cycle of 235 lunar months, with the intercalary month added according to defined rules every two or three years, for a total of seven times per 19 years. Even with this intercalation, the average Hebrew calendar year is longer by about 6 minutes and 25+25/57 seconds than the current mean solar year, so that every 224 years, the Hebrew calendar will fall a day behind the current mean solar year; and about every 231 years it will fall a day behind the Gregorian calendar year.

Anyone trying to keep the Sabbath on the Gregorian calendar isn't keeping it at all! One would have to take off of work in the middle of the week to keep it!
All laws & prophecies of the OT hinge on the Jewish calendar. Therefore, those fussing about changing from Saturday to Sunday is a "changing of times" is totally unaware it was changed already by the changing of the calendars! If Sunday-goers are sinning, so are the sabbath-keepers of the Gregorian calendar!

Then there's the rest of the laws concerning the Sabbath (seventh) day:

1. No work done at all (Ex. 20: 10; Lev. 23: 3; Jer. 17:21-22). No watering the lawn, no working in the yard, no hobbies, no surfing, no fixing flat tires, etc. By law if a person did not stop all types of activity in honor of the Sabbath, he was breaking the law. In Numbers 15:32-36 a man was caught collecting sticks on the Sabbath, and he was stoned to death.
2 No kindling of a fire (Ex. 35:3). No fellowship cookouts or barbecues. You can't go into a restaurant and get a hamburger that's been flame broiled, you can't cook eggs, or pancakes in the morning because you'd be kindling a fire for cooking. To drive a car would be to "kindle a fire" In the combustion chamber of your engine.
3. No traveling at all (Ex. 16:29). Later the Jews added to this law, allowing only a half mile of travel on the Sabbath which we see observed in the NT. But the pure law says "stay at home." Actually, If you kept this part of the law, you could not travel to your church gathering unless it was less than one-quarter mile away from home. If you had an emergency you could not drive to the hospital.
4. No trading (Amos 8:5). If you happened to need gas to get to church service, you could not "trade" money for gasoline. You would not be allowed to buy a cassette tape of that morning's message or a book at the store. There is to be No exchanging of money for goods. If you worked with stocks and you needed to sell you couldn’t.
5. No marketing (Neh. 10:31; 13:15,19). Make sure you do no shopping whatsoever. You can't buy any ice cream for dessert after dinner or anything else. If you run out of food or drink at home you can’t go out to purchase any, you can’t even by a stick of gum.
6. A holy assembly with double the daily offering along with the other offerings. In other words, you are to give twice as much on the Sabbath (Num. 28:9).Do we practiced this today In compliance with Old Testament law. Do Sabbatarian's really practice the law? I have yet to see people go to Shabbat and give twice as much each week.
7. New showbread In the holy place (Lev. 24:8). Of course this cannot be done today since there is no temple, so this part of the Sabbath cannot be followed by the church. The fact Is the Sabbath was not made for the gentiles, but for the Jews and their generations (Ex. 31:12-17). It's a law given between God and the Jews.
8.The last part of the requirements for keeping the Sabbath day law Is the penalty for breaking It. DEATH

So, which of you are keeping the Shabbat of the 10 commandments?

What determines the day of the week? The calendar does not. You can determine specific days of the year, February 20 for example, but that does not determine the day of the week it falls on. The weekly cycle of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, is a cycle that stands apart from the calendar itself. It has continued unbroken. We have not had in the history of man a four day week, a twelve day week or any other number of days per week than a seven day week. The seven day week has NEVER CHANGED.

You are comparing apples to oranges here. The weekly cycle and a yearly calendar are two very DIFFERENT means of counting time.

How are days counted? By hours? Minutes? Seconds? How long is a day?

Lev 23:32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

Days are counted from sunset to sunset. Doesn't matter how many hours, minutes or seconds are in the day, it begins at sunset and ends the next sunset. God determined this and it had nothing to do with the Gregorian calendar or a watch with a second hand. The cycle of seven days, counted from sunset to sunset, has not been broken from creation.
