and ...saying that God is not able to unsaved someone He already did save because he don’t regret his gift is just incoherent with proclamation that he is God. He is God and He will do what He will do. He is God upon His own word. He can do what he wants to do.

Salvation work is absolutely and merely matter belonging to God.

I am amazed how carefree we are with God, somehow we still have no clue how great in his power and will is God. Where are we and where is He.

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. (rom 11)

I've never seen anyone show that a person could lose their salvation from these verses.

Its a very interesting point of view.

I wonder if falling from grace means you forfeit salvation? For example. Let's say someone is saved by the Lord Jesus Christ. And then due to their confusion they decide they must work at the law due to some confusion. Have they forfeited their salvation? Or did they just not get to know Grace as much as they could have?

I think that when the Lord saves someone that He saves them from falling from Grace as well. A person may go back to working at the law for a time, but if the Lord has saved them they will not stay in that condition forever. That is my thought.

which is exactly why we should never judge anyone eternal destiny. We can not know what they did in the past. or what they might do in the future

I am amazed as to how little some people respect Gods omniscience. To think God would give the most precious gift he has to offer KNOWING at one time in the future he would have to take that gift back for whatever reason.

Not to mention. that we show little respect for his omnipotence, That God is not able to COMPLETE that which he started.. And we can be more powerful than God and prevent him from completing his work.

So its ok for you to do that (you have done it to me a few times now) But not ok for us to do it? Now your a hypocrite.

I know what you believe, I was in your shoes for decades. So do not try to tell me i do not know what you believe.

Fine.

John 3: 16, John 6. Eph 1- 3 etc etc..

Let not just look at passages taken out of context. But see which passages those passages contradict.

You would think that someone with 15000 posts would know that calling someone a hypocrite is against the rules.i see not interest on your part in doing anything but making "cute" remarks and avoiding a direct discussion of Holy writ. Therefore, I'm moving on.

You want us to believe the things which showed what MUST happen to remove the penalty of sin (death) was just nothing. and we still must do something every time we sin.

You totally missed the point of those sacrifices and what they meant and pointed to Your removing the meaning of the cross. and still trying to make it your own way.

That is sad. When I go to my Lord. I thank him for already making me clean, and ask his help to make me open about my sin, To confess it to those who can help me and show me why I struggle so much. And thank him for his grace. knowing I deserve his wrath, as his child. I accept his chastening. and move on. Knowing he loves me and took me as I was (whcih I will never be as evil as I was before salvation again)

No your crucifying him yourself. Everytime you go to him and ask him to resave you and return to you his eternal life.

I think we need to see the real truth. If we stood in front of God at this moment. We would realize who truly sinful we are. So sin full, we could not even look at him for shame. I think it is sad that people can actually believe they can just confess their known sin and thing they are alright with God. when in reality, they can never know every sin they commit on a daily basis. We focus on the outward sins we see in the ten. and do not focus on the inward sin which so ensares us and keeps us from doing so many good things for God every day of our lives.
why oh why is it, when people point to scripture they are told by those who add to scripture that they are liars and a judgment finger is pointed at them!!! "it was just nothing" whatever it was, something of scripture I say is nothing according to you. I "remove the meaning of the cross" you say. It is like telling me to go to hell, for the cross saves me from hell. "trying to make it my own way" you say. If I want my own way and not the Lord's way then again, it is tell me to go to hell. You say going to the Lord is only to thank Him for making you clean, so is it wrong to ask the Lord to make me clean by washing away my sin? And you repeat that I am crucifying the Lord, and heaven help us where you get that statement. It seems to be when I go to Him with the Lord's Prayer of "forgive us our debts. as we forgive our debtors."

But then you go on to tell us of pure scripture that you believe in. That is good.

no, but you and I have a free will. I can turn my back on Christ and stop living for Him. Gods grace is not forced upon us . Sadly, many reject that grace.

Matthew 6:9-10
[SUP]9 [/SUP]After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Do these words come back void after we are saved? Have you ever prayed that prayer?

That is about putting away your will and embracing His Will.

Ezekiel 36:26-27
[SUP] [/SUP][SUP]26 [/SUP]A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

[SUP]27 [/SUP]And I will put my spirit within you,
and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

I like real world examples, examples that hit close to home. Humans seem to relate to that better.
I stole a bunch of stuff from my job when I was in my teens. Every time I would pray for years and years when asking God for forgiveness for other things it would always pop into my mind ''Go tell them you stole from them''

I always brushed that off and thought, this is just a guilty conscience. I don't need to do anything about this.

Well I had left that job and they called me up a few years later asking me if I wanted to come work for them again. That voice came back and said ''Tell them you stole from them.''

So I called them back talked to the owner and said to him'' I appreciate the offer of coming back and I am taking a big risk but I want to let you know I stole stuff from the store years ago. I don't think I deserve to come back and work there.''

The owner said to me '' The store was doing very well at the time and I know everyone was taking stuff home, you are the only one who has ever actually admitted to it and apologized.'' '' If you want to come back and work the job offer is still open''

I repented after 10 years or so. Not really sure if that then excludes me from eternal life. Hope not.

lol, how else would you call it.

Lets look at your posts.

and you think that answers the question? It's a typical response from those who are mired in OSAS.

You can put any kind of label you want on it, but that doesn't make it so.

Again, Don't tell people not to do what you yourself are doing.

Yep. the truth hurts.

If we do not agree with you. We are what did you call it?? "mired in osas", or "putting a label on it"

You think you the first person to come in here and do what your doing?

If you want to discuss scripture. lets do it. If you want to make false claims. Your right, we can not discuss anything.

lol.

You point to scripture which appears to support your view. but when your shown context you reject it. And you do not even want to look at scripture which contradicts your view. you always want to look at the same ole scriptures.

Why is that?

I am not calvanist. And once saved always saved did not origionate with calvin, It origionated in scripture.

I agree and will add...

Being a son or daughter is by birth and can never change while fellowship can be broken and restored any number of times and in accordance with the will of God and....

1. Some get mercy extended when they should have died under the Law...David<----spared and cost the life of His 1st born Son which points to Jesus as a Son of David taking David's punishment under the law....

2. Some get no mercy and are killed immediately as Ananias and his wife!

God called King David a man after his own heart YEARS before he committed his massive sins of adultry and murder.

If God accepted david before he sinned. there is no reason to doubt God would not accept him even after he committed those grave sins. He already knew he was going to do them before he did them.

The only thing which will exclude you is if you never place your complete trust in him to save you based on his work.

Romans 6:22-23
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

So now the question is not can one be saved and then lose their salvation, for that is impossible.

The question is can we know that we are saved by God?

No doubt and I agree with this....I will make my stand in the faith OF Jesus and the work that he accomplished on the cross...If He can save me, He can keep me saved!

Disagreements are one thing, personal attacks are another. That I will NOT put up with. I do regret the "mired in OSAS" comment and apologize to those who were offended.

Well, sir, let's just look on example of Izrael, God brought them out of Egypt (600 000 ppl + children and wom) and how many went to Canaan?
Two…
Is that because god was not able to complete what he started?
No, not at all.

lol. Wow really?

God did complete what he started.

1. Isreal ( who was given the land 400 years before the entered it) Entered the land.
2. They possessed the land, And lived in it.
3. Because of sin, They were removed from the land 3 times.
4. God will still continue his work. For one day they will be restored to the land (after they repent)

ehm, sir, I am saved, that's the true.I really am.
dot.
but I can not vouch for others. (except my family, maybe)
and also I can not agree with you in case impossibility of loosing salvation. Not to concerns me, I have no doubt, but others.

ok, I see that united brothers [FONT=&quot]artillery boarded ahead[/FONT] ..so Im back in my line

Just like my kid....he gets out of my will and I take something away until he comes back online if you will...God chastens every son that He receives and yet that does not change the fact of their (sonship) if you will....

So you really think you might disobey your way into losing salvation?

But if the person has truly been born again, then s/he will persevere. Romans 8.38-39, Philippians 1.6

Those who live and die in disobedience never had God's salvation in the first place.
