I took the test two days back. Never knew there was a concept of love languages before. Curiosity.

Here's a question:
How many of you would say that you "give" in the same ways that you like to "receive"?
Do you show others love in the same way that you like to receive love?
I love to give gifts to people, more than I like to receive them...
So no. I don't give love the same way I receive it, because people are different. They have different ways of showing love. I just accept all that with gratitude.
I am not a touchy-feely person but many of the people who love me are. It's the way they show love, and I am cool with it. I appreciate it anyway. If a friend hugs me, or someone kisses me or holds my hand, I accept it. I am surprised my score is 0.
It's not that I dislike physical touch. It's just not my way of showing love. It's not important to me.
However many times I have found that holding someone's hand is all they want. And if that's what it takes for them to be comforted, I'd do it.
It's not like we're restricted in any way to show love. At the end of the day, love is selfless. It's not about how I want to show love, it's about them. And looking towards Christ, the one who loves us the most, getting a mind that is like His, to be led by the Spirit to edify others - I don't think we have much to worry
(But buying someone a fancy tech gadget is way more lovey than giving them a hug. IMHO.)
