Hello everyone.

I would like to embark on a conversation about the WAR that broke out in Heaven at Rev 12:7 and so forth.

When Satan was cast out of Heaven. MY Question is when did this take place ? I enjoy talking about the Bible and things retaining in it. So what I'm about to ask of you, is not a lot. Please before you comment do some research and only give scriptural documentation on the matter so we can all get a full understanding on this subject and where your coming from.

2Ti 3:16, 17 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.



2Pe 1:20, 21 For you know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. 21 For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were moved by holy spirit.

The verses from Revelation you quoted are not about satan's fall from being Lucifer,but him and his troops getting kicked out from heavenly places to which they still have access.There are Higher Dimensions in Heavenly Places.

satan has already been cast out from Heaven or he took the 'fall as lightning-luke 10:18 KJV' most probably because he couldn't humble before God anymore...

So he is already fallen(not going to fall in future from his appointed place),and the leader of them who are fallen from the Angels in Heaven.

Dunno about others but I am not saying his fall is yet to happen, it is history. His barring from appearing before God in the throne room of heaven has yet to happen. When it does, it will be quite apparent...

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

God's church has yet to see the persecution that will occur at this time.

And it does build up to a climax... the MARK will REVEAL the two parties. And soon after that Jesus will make the final cut and DISPLAY ALL HIS BRETHREN. Ihabiters of the earth will NOT ascend into heaven as Jesus comes... The CHURCH of Jesus shall. The living and the ones that DIED IN CHRIST...

Then ALL will know who was the manchild and who the dragon. Did God not say that all in Christ (the Body of Christ/His church) IS hid in God to be revealed when HE COMES.... Let me tell you this for sure.... the great tribulation is at hand. That time that the world has NOT SEEN... that is the climax... And if God did not shorten these days not even the righteous (the Church/the manchild) will make it!

And the women that runaway into the wilderness is the 'tribulation Martyrs' during the first half of tribulation period.
tribulation Martyrs include left behind Christians as well as new people who accept Christ realizing Truth.

Absolutely not Timeline... I believe God gave the book of Job in so we can BELIEVE God has NO fellowship with Satan! But we should not qoute what Job had NO idea about as TRUTH! The TRUTH is satan CANNOT appear before God in His Holy of holy... if satan walks in htere as he pleases it is NOT HOLY... Simple as that.

In fact if God nad satan have cousil over me, I do not want part of ANY of them, becasue satan's company will defile God! So there it is as simple as that. God will not command us something that HE TRANSGRESS and God says do not be equally yoked by unbelievers, then he and satan comes to agreement? WOW what a hypocrate God will be if that was true.... I am so glad Job abhored himseld and FELL IN SACK AND ASH and REPENT!

Yet I admire Job for NEVER cursing God, and that by HEARING he knew of god but when HE SAW Him JOb uderstood WHO CAN COUNCIL GOD? And he claimed satan did! Come on people would you want a God that throws something out and that something can creep back in? NOT ME!

Two points to ponder.....

1. Eve was tempted in the Garden which means the tempter had to already be here in his fallen form...
2. Every thing that God made is called good specifically except the HEAVENS<-----The (prince of the power of the air) was already here!

not necessarily fallen, he could of had free access to both as Job seems to indicate.

You better study some more...you are saying that Satan has power over God and I know that is not what you mean to say....Satan does not cause anyone to sin, we cause ourselves to sin...that is what you are missing

Unless his fall wrecked material creation and Genesis is actually a renovation of what was wrecked by the fall of Lucifer.....There are a few scriptures that do lend credence to the above lines of thought....What did God's spirit brood over in Genesis.....what was already here<------I.E. what God's spirit was brooding over......???

You are preaching to the choir about the woman being the church. In fact there are two periods of time mentioned in Rev 12...

Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

This is 1260 years, a day for a year and ran from 325AD to 1585AD. It was the church of God hiding from the Catholic church.

There is a second period of time...

Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

this is a literal 3-1/2 years at the end time in which the church flees to a place of safety.

With the world the way it is, I don't know how anyone could say that Satan is bound. If this is all us (and Satan is not involved) then he does not need to be released to cause corruption. We are trucking along without him.

So then what type of being do you suppose that Satan is?

Have you read how he is described in Job 1 and 2?
How about how he is described in Isaiah 14?
Ezekiel 28? look at verse 14 again, then re-read the context.

Revelation 12:9 specifies that some angels follow Satan, and these same beings are referred to as demons throughout Scripture.

If Satan is not an angel, then are you proposing that he is a literal animal?
It seems more appropriate to read the animal descriptions as figurative descriptions.

as for the OP, there are so many Scriptures saying that Satan is our accuser, and we are given a narrative of one of his accusations in the book of Job.
If Satan once had access to the Throne of God to accuse the righteous(as seen in Job), and is still called 'the Accuser' throughout the New Testament, it can be assumed that Satan still has access to the Throne of God.

It can also be assumed that the description of Satan in Ezekiel 28 is a future event, as it describes Satan being destroyed in the fire, even though Satan has not yet been destroyed in the final Judgement, after the 1000 years of binding.

Luke 10:18 is Jesus quoting the OT.
I don't believe He was speaking in true past tense, but using the prophetic imagery to explain His authority over all spiritual powers.

From what I've read in Scripture, it seems right that the fulfillment of this quote could still be yet to come.

Jesus spoke in the past tense for future events often. If you look in John 16-17, Jesus describes His sacrifice as being a finished work, several hours before He was even arrested.

Good stuff Pastac! That said, beyond what the Bible implies about his Fall, we're not told the details. I think Christendom sometimes borrows too much from Paradise Lost and The Divine Comedy for these topics.

The details are found in the book of Enoch. Despite being apocrypha, I haven't met anyone who rejects it outright as containing heresy, and many things that Christians commonly believe are found in it. After all, did you really think that "[Enoch] was taken away" was enough to support a lack of death? The only reason Christians believe it is because it's found in this book.

job cursed the day he was born...brother.That's a curse to God indirectly.
No parent can stand such a remark from their child,be it a father or mother hearing it from their son/daughter.
And like someone already told,satan cannot defile God.God is the Greatest villian but He wants to Exhibit his Love more.satan cannot get near the Presence of God,he trembles at the name Jesus because he knows what its like getting his head crushed under the feet of Jesus.So that company is never possible.
But its taking place in human fellowship,when sin takes its root too much into churches..that happens all the time.That's the reason why we have to be on Guard always.Its not easy,but by the Grace of God we resist the devil even when we sway sometimes here and there..
When we sway too much and don't go to God for Help,what you said happens..the company between Godly and devil to soon only a devilish group,Godly got removed.
