haha i'm learning more from all this goober talk than i am from any "dinosaurs might be Nephilim babies" discussion!
yep my dad taught me things(way out dated) like "if the mule cut a root, keep on going",,,meaning if you are plowing behind a mule and the parting shear hit's a root the the mule will pass gas(don't stop, keep going),,,another was "gee, haw=left, right" if you are driving an ox team. He at any time he got the better of you would say "You'll have to get up at 4 in the morning and eat watered down cornbread and sargum syrup to keep up with me",,,
my grand fathers were another manner of thinking, one was a master of meaningless(to the modern day) curse words his favorite was "buzzard"(sure to make any man swing at you) if you called him that in 1850. the worst curse word in the 1800's was "granny-dodger",,,which meant "a man to sorry to pay the granny-lady(mid-wife) who helped deliver his baby,so he jumps into the store, saloon, ect. when he see's her coming down the side walks",,,,they would go to gun's over that.,,,so the one thought i needed to learn this and taught me,,, Nicole Franks Gunslinger Demo of Fastdraw - YouTube ,,,,lol,,,
I suppose he thought the world was not going to change from the 1800's i was born in 35,,,so 55 i was 20,,,I've never been in a shoot-out at high noon,(but i can do it thanks to grand-paw!),,,lol.
