Hi again, Shubee... thanks for the links... I too have had messages and insights and visions.
Dan,

Please post a link to your visions. I want to know what the Lord has communicated to you. If you haven't written it out yet, please start a thread about it and start from the beginning. Then post the link to that thread here so that I'll be sure to see it.

Thanks for the invite, Shubee! As I'm sure you're aware, messages must always be given with the edification of the hearers in mind, so time and place is critical! But I'll check it out and see if I feel led... some of my insights are here on cc in the form of posts or replies... you can click on my name and see forum posts... but you probably already know that! Blessings to you!

As for the requirements of justice, the Church Manual is quite specific:

Settlement of Grievances of Members Against the Church---The same principles that influence resolution of differences among members apply to the settlement of grievances of members against Church organizations and institutions.” p. 61.

I have many grievances against the church.
I guess that's what you've been trying to say. I too have grievances against any church who has the playbook thicker than the Bible.

I know leaving a Church that you have been associated with for a long time, is a very hard thing. I was raised Lutheran, but after a third attempt at suicide, the pride of running my own life my own way, broke. I found myself on my knees weeping uncontrollably and crying out for forgiveness of my sinful lifestyle, and willingly surrendering control of my life to JESUS CHRIST as LORD, which means MASTER. I discovered a program on radio, called "Grace to You" where Dr. John MacArthur from Grace Community Church, and President of the Master's College and Seminary, taught nightly keeping it interesting and exciting. I quickly noticed my LOVE for the LORD was growing stronger, and so was my hunger to be really taught the Word of GOD.

Because of that, the 15 minute sermons at the Lutheran Church, felt like a starvation diet of spiritual food. So I decided to leave that Lutheran Church and find a Church that spent much more time actually teaching the Word than any order of service. What made it extremely hard was it hurt my mother deeply, and she even got face to face with me and said, "So now you are going to desert thee Church"? It took her a long time to get over that hurt, and to finally come to the understanding Christ recognized many more than one denomination. But in my heart I knew that going to a real Bible Teaching Church was what GOD wanted me to do. What I mean by that is Churches that spend 45 - 60 minutes teaching the Word, and less than 30 minutes for the rest. Which are also churches that make you feel loved like part of the Family.

I know a lot more about the Seventh Day Adventists than most, only because my son-inlaw is one, and we have had lots of discussions. If the hurdle that is a stumbling block to leaving is the Sabbath issue, what they teach about us is an error. We do not change the Sabbath to Sunday, we just believe we can worship HIM on any day or every day. The Sabbath is a sign of the Covenant between God and Israel, not between God and the Church. You can look that up in Exodus to verify that fact. The worship commandment of the New Testament is simply:

Hebrews 10:24-25 (HCSB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works,
[SUP]25 [/SUP] not staying away from our ⌊worship⌋ meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Romans 14:5 (HCSB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] One person considers one day to be above another day. Someone else considers every day to be the same. Each one must be fully convinced in his own mind.

Exodus 31:16 (HCSB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] The Israelites must observe the Sabbath, celebrating it throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.

If you still feel God wants you personally to observe the Sabbath, that is a personal choice, which Rom. 14:5 permits. However you will find few others that have a Saturday Service, with the exception of that being the Messianic Christian Churches. There are not a lot of them around, but perhaps this organization could help you find one. Statement of Faith - MJAA YES, they are Christians, read through their Doctrinal Statement of Faith.

As for the mainline Christian denominations that might have a Saturday late afternoon Service, check the LARGE Churches that have a full sanctuary at every service. They usually start a Saturday Service because the two or three Sunday Services are over full. I have been in Churches like that where if you show up at the last minute, you certainly will be in another room watching the Service on TV.

What Day do I worship the LORD? I would have to answer that as, EVERYDAY, several times a day. Every time HE crosses my mind, I am worshiping HIM. What Day does my Church meet? That would be Sunday.

What Churches have I tried that I know spend a great deal of time, actually Teaching the WORD of GOD?
That I would have to answer as these type of Churches: Non-denominational Community Churches, Non-denominational Bible Churches, Evangelical Free Churches, Baptist Churches, Grace Brethren Churches, and I am sure there are more.

I hope this was helpful.

Playbook, who does that? Even when I attended the Lutheran Church, the order of service was no more than about 20 pages or so, at the front of the hymnal. Now that I attend non-denominational Community Bible teaching Churches, I really LOVE the services and find them a real blessing, and the added bonus is nobody can pin a denominational title on me. I am just a Christian, saved by GRACE, :) .
