As a side note -
Honestly, I think women should dress for themselves, keeping in mind what would honour God and not for men, or for their peers or anyone else.
Keeping in mind God first, before even men , examining our hearts and motives should be a good standard. And the Bible does say this -
1 Timothy 2:9-10
I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.
Simplicity and subtlety are the hallmarks of elegance.
And Marcel Proust said, "If only for the sake of elegance, I try to remain morally pure"
