Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Temple 05 - Sacrifices: Their Order and Their Meaning

The Idea of Substitution

The fundamental idea of sacrifice in the Old Testament is that of substitution, which again seems to imply everything else—atonement and redemption, vicarious punishment and forgiveness. The firstfruits go for the whole products; the firstlings for the flock; the redemption-money for that which cannot be offered; and the life of the sacrifice, which is in its blood (Leviticus 17:11), for the life of the sacrificer. Hence also the strict prohibition to partake of blood. Even in the 'Korban,' gift (Mark 7:11) or free-will offering, it is still the gift for the giver. This idea of substitution, as introduced, adopted, and sanctioned by God Himself, is expressed by the sacrificial term rendered in our version 'atonement,' but which really means covering, the substitute in the acceptance of God taking the place of, and so covering, as it were, the person of the offerer. Hence the Scriptural experience: 'Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered .*.*. unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity' (Psalms 32:1-2); and perhaps also the Scriptural prayer: 'Behold, O God, our shield, and look upon the face of Thine Anointed' (Psalms 84:9). Such sacrifices, however, necessarily pointed to a mediatorial priesthood, through whom alike they and the purified worshippers should be brought near to God, and kept in fellowship with Him. Yet these priests themselves continually changed; their own persons and services needed purification, and their sacrifices required constant renewal, since, in the nature of it, such substitution could not be perfect. In short, all this was symbolical (of man's need, God's mercy, and His covenant), and typical, till He should come to whom it all pointed, and who had all along given reality to it; He whose Priesthood was perfect, and who on a perfect altar brought a perfect sacrifice, once for all—a perfect Substitute, and a perfect Mediator (Hebrews 10:1-24).

Temple 16 - The Day of Atonement

Weakness of the Law

It may sound strange, and yet it is true, that the clearest testimony to 'the weakness and unprofitableness' 'of the commandment' is that given by 'the commandment' itself. The Levitical arrangements for the removal of sin bear on their forefront, as it were, this inscription: 'The law made nothing perfect'—having neither a perfect mediatorship in the priesthood, nor a perfect 'atonement' in the sacrifices, nor yet a perfect forgiveness as the result of both. 'For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect' (Hebrews 10:1). And this appears, first, from the continual recurrence and the multiplicity of these sacrifices, which are intended the one to supplement the other, and yet always leave something to be still supplemented; and, secondly, from the broad fact that, in general, 'it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins' (Hebrews 10:4). It is therefore evident that the Levitical dispensation, being stamped with imperfectness alike in the means which it employed for the 'taking away' of sin, and in the results which it obtained by these means, declared itself, like John the Baptist, only a 'forerunner,' the breaker up and preparer of the way—not the satisfying, but, on the contrary, the calling forth and 'the bringing in of a better hope' (Hebrews 7:19; see marginal rendering).
***********************************

Are you still living "in the shadow of good things to come"? (Hebrews 10:1) There were three aspects of the Law....moral, social, and ceremonial and all three functioned as an indivisible unit....break ONE of the 613 commandments, you are guilty of breaking them all (Galatians 3:10-13; James 2:10).

yes he forgives my past sins by the cross

no go and sin no more

that means walk in the commandments

and I walk perfectly in the flesh as long as his mind is in me and I keep connection with him.
those who don't are not sanctified and justification will not cover future sins done on purpose

so you claim you are saved and going to heaven because you are sinless? and obey the commands? based on that fact?

When I was saved by grace, there was no indication I should forget the commandments. No, I found the great Love that is our God, and all I wanted to do was please Him. I still want to please Him, so I do what Jesus, Yeshua teaches. He teaches the law is not dead. This is an easy-way teaching of people who do not truly know the Love that is Yahweh, God.

So, as Paul teaches,
"Thank God! Jesus Christ will rescue me. So with my mind I serve the Law of God, although my selfish desires make me serve the law of sin."

Now is this one of those moments when what Paul teaches is rejected by those who constantly quote him? I think not.

. And here we are at the end and Jesus is still taking away our sinfulness. He’s still desiring to get us into the kingdom of heaven. He wants us to be able to go in. The plagues are coming. And he’s holding back the seventh plague until we’re ready. And the main thing that 1 Corinthians 13 tells us about is love. And that’s what Gdos word tells us about, is our need for love. And lacking love we won’t be able to enter in. So he’s holding back the plagues for a little while longer so that we can learn to love one another.

. Prayer: Holy father, we love you, and we’ve come together to kneel at your feet and to ask for you to be our teacher That you would open our minds and give us wisdom and understanding. Give us a heart that absorbs all the love that you can pour into it. We pray in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

We read in the scriptures that without — Jesus said,
“without me you can do nothing.”
And without him we can truly do nothing.
And the atonement is about the love of Yahshua
and how he loved us.
And we, of course,
have read how the heavenly father sent his only begotten son
and gave his only begotten son
to us in order to save us,
to save us “from our sins”
and give us “a new heart” and a new life,
to give us the new birth
so that we can be fit for the kingdom of
heaven.

The Bible is about change
and about us “being born again”
and changing from the way we are.
When we started out in this life,
we started out as sinners.

And over the years we’ve gotten worse and worse.
And here we are at the end
and Jesus is still taking away our sinfulness.
He’s still desiring to get us into
the kingdom of heaven.
He wants us to be able to go in.
The plagues are coming.

just denying the Bible does not make it false
you need to read more
the ten commandments are binding for YOU and Jesus will tell all those not keeping every one of them

deoart from ne

would you like to see the verses again?
right from your bible...:)
And Father says depart from me to you and all by what you just said no one is saved. Why for not one can or is perfect to keep the whole Law it is impossible or have you not read if you want to go to heaven, under the Law of Moses, you had better cut off your right hand if it sinned, better for part of you to go to heaven than all of you go to hell.
Well Brother under Law as you are so well expressing, you should be only a torso by now, being under Law, as Jesus so well pointed it out that we can't be perfect by Law, under it, and yet the Law of Moses are perfect, but we the flesh carnal nature is not.
So anyway, hope for you to see through, God will show you if you are serious about trusting God, for it seems you are not, and have a block in your way to the whole truth in just trusting God alone by Son the Christ whom was sent to us as the propitiation for any and all sins ever committed, for us to turn and appreciate it, to be able by Faith walk as Son already walked
For Son did nothing and or said nothing without Father's lead through the Holy Spirit of truth. So he bib not do the works, did he? Father did and We by Faith are to recieve the very same Holy Spirit of truth that led Son., us now by belief Son's of the most high, giving all credit to Father you think?

Everyone knows what has been written in the Holy Scriptures was given by God to the prophets to write down. The laws are not dreamed up by Moses; he just wrote down what was given him. This cannot be argued. If anyone believes the prophets just decided what to write down, the Book is useless, thank Yahweh, this is not so.

my point is, there are so many more laws not included in the law given to moses. which were given for a purpose.

Galatians 3:19
[ Purpose of the Law ] What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.

To say the law of moses had any other purpose is to call paul and God, Who inspired him to write this verse, A liar.

Where are the Ten commandments written, before Moses?
Legalistically and by the letter, the ten commandments were written by God to Moses on Mt Sinai. Spiritually and in truth the ten commandments are expressions of the love the earth was created with and how the earth operates well.

If you look in 1 Corinthians 13, he talks about what love does and what it doesn’t do.
Love has patience. Love is kind. Love is not envious.
look at how Jesus was and how his love was.

When someone asked him, ‘What lack I yet?’
He told them to go and give up everything they had
and give to the poor and come and
follow me.

And that must have been a surprise to Judas,
who would’ve liked to have had the rich young ruler’s possessions.
And Judas would have thought that it would have been a great help
for the church to have money to operate on and conduct its
business.

But Jesus didn’t go that route. He told the rich young ruler to give up everything and come and follow him.

And it turns out that the rich young ruler didn’t want to do that.
He had some possessions and he didn’t want to give them up.

And so he didn’t make the decision to do what Jesus told him to do.
And so we see that Jesus offered the man eternity.

And the man didn’t
value eternity very much.
He didn’t think eternity was worth giving up everything for.
He thought his
present was worth keeping.

The present time was worth keeping.
A lot of us are going to make the same decision when the time comes.
We will sell eternity for the present.

We’ll make the wrong decision at the time when the great temptation comes.

We’ll take the
mark of the beast so we can have a full stomach.

We’ll take the
mark of the beast instead of giving up everything

when they decide to take things away from us.

When you
love the heavenly father, it’s not about possessions.

It’s about the only
happiness
we have, the only hope
we have, the only truth
we have, the only righteousness
we have, and the only hope
of righteousness
that we have.

The word of God is very plain about all the requirements that it sets forth for us to
abide by.

He says for us to
abide in him and him to abide in us.
And he says if you don’t do that you are cut off and thrown into the fire.

And so he doesn’t want you to be cut off and be thrown into the fire.

So he woos you and tries to talk you into
abiding in him,
the
living by his words,
to
accept his spirit,

to
accept his holy spirit
instead of grieving his holy spirit away.

He wants us to
be like him.
He sends us his holy spirit
to guide us
and direct every step of our way so that we can be like him.

He gives us the
words of life through his holy spirit.

He says, ‘
This is the way, walk ye in it.
And we decide to do something else.

we have no excuse then...
