I think...I may have gotten most of the glitter out of my system.

Sometimes it's super difficult not to be nosy around here...so many cryptic posts...I just wanna be all, JUST SPIT IT OUT ALREADY! Whatever 'it' is.

There's a tiger sitting in the chair in my living room. Pretty sure he's planning to attack as soon as I fall asleep.

I feel myself starting to go kinda crazy again. Too much time alone? Not sure.

My brain feels foggy.

Thank you both. <3 It actually felt like a group hug so it did make me feel better. :)

I think I just needed to cry. Weeks over pent up stuff that I didn't know was pent up, ya know? I mean it was still related to what I said in my previous post, but...yeah.

I also emailed the HR rep for the company I'll be working for to make sure that she got my paperwork documentation in her email. She replied, "I thank you VERY much for this follow up! I got all of your paperwork and I look forward to meeting you on the 23rd. :) " So, all is still going well, so thank you to those who encouraged me today when I had a bout of frustration at the ministry. I mean I'm still...annoyed at them. But I'm glad to know that it doesn't seem to be hindering any processes.

Next week at this time, I will be in my new house and have had my first day of work at my new job. What's great is that my sister will be visiting me the week after I move in, so that will help. :)
Don't worry, Rachel. If God means for you to have this job, it won't matter what stands in your way of getting it, you'd still get it even if it took a miracle.. because that's how our God rolls!

I can almost cry right now. Where is this generation even going? Where's the hope? The future as to how morality would even stand seems so nonexistent and the sad thing about it is that people seem to encourage such immoral behaviors to the point that morality might as well not exist in a dictionary. I'm not saying this on my behalf, but it does seem to help as to what I should or should not do and if I'm truly going to lose all my sanity by the end of it. I really wish I lived in an earlier time if at all...

JustAnotherUser: People have been saying that for a loooong time, I bet Adam and Eve said it when the first murder occurred.
The best way to fight it is to let Gods light shine, be an example, not mainly by words, but by how you live your life :)

I usually don't post long scriptures as a reply, but since this scripture explains in detail how the world will be as Jesus' second coming draws near, I think its best to post it in full..

2 Timothy 3 New King James Version (NKJV)

Perilous Times and Perilous Men

3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: [SUP]2 [/SUP]For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [SUP]3 [/SUP]unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, [SUP]4 [/SUP]traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, [SUP]5 [/SUP]having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! [SUP]6 [/SUP]For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, [SUP]7 [/SUP]always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; [SUP]9 [/SUP]but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

The Man of God and the Word of God

[SUP]10 [/SUP]But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, [SUP]11 [/SUP]persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. [SUP]12 [/SUP]Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. [SUP]13 [/SUP]But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. [SUP]14 [/SUP]But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, [SUP]15 [/SUP]and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

God bless.

I'm not the sort of person to chase after miracles but frankly, I wouldn't mind one about now. I've been struggling to get much work the past half year (I'm a male primary teacher - relief teacher, currently). I hear about people surrendering to God. I hear about people experiencing miracles. I've been a Christian as long as I can remember, and I wouldn't want to live without Christ. But I want to dive deeper with Him, I just don't know how. Just once, I'd love to feel the Holy Spirit.

I would love to feel the Holy Spirit just once also. I believe that for some, the deeper they dive into Jesus the more distant He seems to become. My wife is dead and is now with Jesus and she is now more alive than I can ever hope to become in my lifetime. I guess that I dived off the deep end the night that she died.

Thanks, so much, my precious sister!
I feel growing up as a Christian, that I have no life before God with which to contrast, unlike those who came to know Jesus later in life. I don't want to grow complacent and I know emotions aren't the be-all-and-end all. That was beautiful and stated my point exactly. Thanks again. Bless you. :)

Ask Jesus to fill you with the full power of the Holy Spirit and to let you feel Him in an amazing new way :)!

Oh, and telling others about Jesus generally brings some extra Holy Spirit feeling into my life :).

Don't settle for "just once", guys :)!

Luke 11:13 is just one of the verses I'm basing this on, BTW =).

I understand exactly what you mean. Grateful that you haven't had to go through all the junk and God kept you, but sometimes it feels like you just can't relate to a lot of stuff that people have been through. And sometimes it's really hard to tell what is God and what is you because you don't have you without God to contrast to you now. On the bright side, not having the stress of wondering whether you should leave your current job to pursue your relationship or not, could be nice in the not too distant future. Though I've done the substitute teacher thing and it is one of the worst, loneliest, jobs.

Radio station A plays music that drives me up the wall, so I'm going to keep tuning into radio station A.

I just don't understand some thought processes.

I really, really, really, don't.
