Rachel-

Want some of us to go annoy that woman into finding your records? Cuz we could...I mean, I considered the possibility of threatening her, but what am I gonna do, pour glitter in her coffee?
Making good threats is the only reason for living. :)

You all should check out the band Coyote Talk. It was started by a really talented guy from my area. I went and saw them at a bar downtown and they were great. I ended up buying their first (and only so far) CD, and it's so good.

This is the first track:

I have a whole list of endless possibilities! Or would it be an endless list of possibilities? Now I don't even know why I started this post in the first place.

...chocolate? Is that a solution?

Just wanted to amend my earlier statement.

Making good threats... and then FOLLOWING THROUGH with them... are the only reasons for living.

Forget 12-Step Programs. Keeping to down to 2 Steps makes it a lot easier to remember.

I love it when my "To Do" list is kept to a minimum. :)

i think i want to start a multi-step program when i grow up.

that sounds really fun. though i'm not sure what the point (or intended goal of such) would be. i need to work on that part first.

Or you could do 12 Steps to Growing Up and then have your adult years to spend on other things ;)

A Christmas song just came on my iTunes (playing my whole library on shuffle) and I'm not even mad about it. Especially because it was a Pentatonix rendition.

Packing is coming along pretty well.

Then I looked up at my room and it hit me how empty and plain it was becoming with all my stuff coming down and out.

And now I can't stop crying.

Aw, Rach. *HUGS*

I've made two major moves across the country in two years. It's been it's own brand of hell and blessing at the same time, each time. The first time was especially hard, as I left my "homeland" where I'd grown up for 38 years. I went through emotional withdrawals, had panic attacks several times a day, fell into what felt like black holes. But God provided me with a job, friends, and church. I'm trying to do it all over again right now and while it's a little more challenging this time, I have to keep believing I'm here for a reason. You're going to your new location for a reason, too.

It's going to get better, love. I know it's HARD... But a new life and new adventures are just around the corner. Think of it as a clean slate, one of which you have even have a say in how your new story gets written!!! Feel free to PM me anytime if you need to talk. *hug hug hug*

All's I've got here is a glitter-tainted hug...so I'll stay back if you prefer.

Aw, what the heck? *hugs*

Thank you both. <3 It actually felt like a group hug so it did make me feel better. :)

I think I just needed to cry. Weeks over pent up stuff that I didn't know was pent up, ya know? I mean it was still related to what I said in my previous post, but...yeah.

I also emailed the HR rep for the company I'll be working for to make sure that she got my paperwork documentation in her email. She replied, "I thank you VERY much for this follow up! I got all of your paperwork and I look forward to meeting you on the 23rd. :) " So, all is still going well, so thank you to those who encouraged me today when I had a bout of frustration at the ministry. I mean I'm still...annoyed at them. But I'm glad to know that it doesn't seem to be hindering any processes.

Next week at this time, I will be in my new house and have had my first day of work at my new job. What's great is that my sister will be visiting me the week after I move in, so that will help. :)

Let us know how things are going throughout the whole moving process as you're able too :) This is exciting, eh??

So it poured this morning, and I had to go to the grocery store. On my bicycle, wearing a poncho which may have helped a little but once it pours a while on roads that don't have good drainage there's as much water splashing up as falling down.

Oh and when I got to the store, I found out that their parking lot is kind of the low ground in the area. I was literally wading through knee high water after I parked my bike. Wish I had had my camera, but it probably would have gotten soaked or damaged. And I have ice cream and steak and apples now :D Things are looking good for birthday meal next week (yes I'm chronically over prepared).
