This may be a simple question, but maybe not. How do you handle friend requests on CC? Do you simply accept every friend request you receive? Perhaps you accept all requests, but then once someone "gets on your nerves" you unfriend them, because they won't know. Do you simply reject requests from people you don't want to be on your friends' list?

If I get a friend request here from someone I don't know (which only happened like a couple of times) I go to their profile and read some of their posts and if they seem friendly I'll accept it. If they don't have any posts and I don't know them then I don't accept. I haven't felt the need to unfriend anyone here.

If someone friend requests me and I haven't spoken to them before, I reject the friend request. I will remove people from my friends list if we are no longer friends, or they've gone bat crap crazy.

I would attach an amusing gif to my response, but I'm on my phone. Also, I am half asleep which violates an agreement I made with a friend. He pointed out that when I post sleepy or emotional or whatever I say things I shouldn't. But this wasn't so bad. I behaved. :)

If I have not interacted with them in some way previous to the friendship request I won't accept.
I have been getting friend requests from too many people I don't know lately. Then they spam you with a billion inbox messages. No thanks

I also usually only accept friend requests from people I know or have talked to on here. Every now and then, I will get a friend request from someone I've never even heard of before. Those are the requests that I deny. I do make exceptions for people if I read a post of theirs and their having problems with depression or suicide or cancer, etc, as I have also struggled with these things, so I truly know how they feel and can relate to them about those things. :) More often than not, though, those people are usually women, so that's good too. :)

DuchessAimee, you did a good job of behaving on here even if you're sleepy!! LOL!!

I have written on my message box don't pm me or send me friend requests, but I still get them. I really have to like you to add you as a friend. being popular isn't my thing, I prefer interesting kind hearted people to add as friends.

I keep my friends list to a minimum. If there is no interaction they eventually get deleted. This list is not a deal breaker for me. There are only 2 or 3 residents of CC that have a permanent place on my list, the others are fleeting and elusive. I have this strong urge to drink Coke now.

Beware of the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide! They put it everywhere nowadays, even in Coke!!
The illuminati puts this chemical in chemtrails from the airplanes, causing massive gas-clouds to form in the sky and causing this chemical to rain down on us every day!!!!

Yes, I believe that is called acid rain. Use an umbrella. A piece of cardboard works for me and it is biodegradable. If I were you I would seriously consider switching beverages. Gatorade is more healthy except for the food coloring that causes cancer. Avoid the purple variety as complications may arise. The fruit punch kind is whacko. That is what I drink when I require a beverage.

Yeah I tried the fruit punch kind too, it does taste weird!! I like the apple kind!
Unfortunately all of these beverages contain the chemical DHMO (dihydrogen monoxide)
Which causes excessive sweating, urination and other symptoms.
Yeah rain is full of that chemical.
It is also plays a vital role in growing GMO's!! Ban DHMO!!!!!!

I friend people I spoke to a few times and are comfortable with. My friend list is a mixture of people from the singles forum and members from chat who I've grown to adore. Other than that- if I do not know you and you add me I do not accept it. Not trying to me mean I'm just an introvert and letting new people in is always hard for me.

I really have to have a good feel for someone before I'll accept a friend request from someone so as a result I end up rejecting most. It seems that most of the friend requests I get are new users that I've never even seen before in chat or the forums. Just because I reject an initial request doesn't mean that I won't accept in the future once I get to know someone.
