I read the Bible. Of course I read the Bible Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday also. Deuteronomy in fact

How do you observe the Sabbath?
So Do you take communion? Have you been baptized?
So there is no difference in what you do on Sabbath and non-Sabbath?
So how exactly do you know you're observing Sabbath?

How do you observe the Sabbath?
I understand that Jesus lead a sinless life, carried all my sins to the cross, and did all the work for me, and now I can REST in Jesus my SABBATH, knowing I don't have to work by relying on MY works....Hence I'm in the SABBATH rest.

I want to see what you're saying.
Before you indicated all of the feast/festival/Sabbath observing is only about understanding the spiritual aspects, and not about doing anything ritual like or physical like.

But now you have appealed to the ritual of communion to justify doing some type of ritual observance of Sabbath, which indicates Sabbath keeping to you may be about more than your previous agreement that it concerns spiritual understanding only.
I really don't understand how you arrived at your conclusion that I was a church goer on Saturday. It appears to me like another one of those preconceived ideas that some others have persuaded you to believe about me.

Good. now have you been baptized and do you take communion on a regular basis?

Because you go on and on about observing Sabbath....And technically, Sabbath is on Saturday and not Sunday...

So if I see someone dogmatically arguing for observing Sabbath, as the "true understanding of how the OT says to 'observe' Sabbath"...Then I'd assume they observe by attending on the Saturday...

You haven't read any of the thread I started about the sabbath have you?

You show me where I have gone on and on about the Sabbath keeping and where I have done that and then I will respectfully ask you to permanently ban me. You won't find anything where I have preached to others that they must keep it. I just don't argue with those that keep Saturday as the Sabbath day.

So are there physical ways we observe Sabbath?
Or is that too just about reading and understanding the spiritual significance in Christ?
Quite a loaded question. It gets into what is the way humans should react to the spiritual commandments? Can we do it in our head with no physical follow up, can we do it with a physical follow up and let that be sufficient? What connection is there in what we do and our spirit and is there a connection. We have thoroughly explored the place of rituals like diet and their connection to the spiritual teaching. We decided that choosing certain foods is not required to fulfill the spirit. Now, you are asking if we can honor the Sabbath in the same way, only with the spirit.

I don't think we can in the same way. We can't give legalistic rules, give the letter of the law, and say that is honoring the Sabbath. At the same time, if man makes no difference in how he physically acts on that day to separate it out as a holy day, then he isn't honoring it spiritually, either. It would be like saying I'm going to play catch with my kids spiritually as you refuse to even speak to the kids.

I work but I don't rely on them.
I rely on Jesus.
Hence work really ain't work..

Works = serving my neighbor.

Sure like to talk about this!! I'd like you to explain how resting in Christ because you can rely on Christ to forgive you of sins relates to that God made a day holy for you and it is to your advantage to treat it as a special day. I don't see any relationship at all. Seems to me to be quite a stretch in reasoning, it is making the word "rest" cover everything. Also saying that Christ does all the work for us for our salvation, we have that through grace, can be stretched to mean that because of that everything we do to follow Christ shouldn't be done because it is "work".

that doesn't even follow the if/and statement used in computer programing.

I don't have to rely on my works.
Relying on my works is work.
Jesus carried it all, I rely on Him and what he did for me.

Work = relying on what I do.
Rest = relying on what Jesus did.

Of course I do works.
But I don't rely on them.
If I relied on them, then that would be work, and not rest.

How would I treat it as a special day if there is nothing I can physically do to treat it as a special day, considering it's all spiritual?

You seem to be saying Sabbath should be treated as a distinctly different/special day than the other six days.
How could I treat it as more special than the other six days?
Any suggestions?

Ok so you're saying...

"Hey you need to really read and understand the rituals of the feasts, festivals, and Sabbaths, so you can get their spiritual meaning. But by no means do you actually have to physically practice any of the rituals."

Is that a proper understanding of what you're saying?
