cinder's kind of crazy day today:
Did laundry and hung it on the porch drying racks to dry (standard procedure here). It was a cool cloudy day with a chance of rain and not much wind so I rigged up a new clothes dryer by pulling my fan out onto the porch and aiming it up at the clothes.
Poured myself a bowl of nuts and had ants crawling around in the bottom (I may have eaten one or two by accident). Put the rest of the bag of nuts in the freezer to kill any remaining ants (God may have made them and said they're good, but I hate ants, at least I hate the ones in my house and murder them without a twinge of guilt at every opportunity)
Worked more on next week's presentation. Hoping people can read my cheater written foreign. Hoping too that I don't tell so many stories I run out of time.
Didn't bring my computer into work today (I help out a few hours a week at an English center (for pay)) so had to help the other gal get the sound editing program on her computer and teach her how to slow things down and change the pitch so you can make one person's voice sound more like multiple people.
One of the students saw me leaving work and tried to invite me out for tea. Since he talked about often having tea with one of the male teachers I think he was just trying to use me for free English practice and not hit on me, but sometimes it's hard to tell.
Almost had another bike accident on the way home from work (and it wasn't even rush hour yet). Thank you God for protection, but I'm sometimes surprised that anybody survives traffic here for very long.
The day I understand people will be the day I die...
Hate to break it to you, but even on the day you die you probably won't understand people. But keep that as a goal so you have to stick around on this planet for a while.
