Ryan Gosling and Chris Hemsworth lookalikes at the hospital????

Methinks...

I am going to have to find reasons to visit the locals hospitals more often.

Just hopefully not as a patient.

Sort of freaking out this morning. Going back to the dentist in a few hours for fillings, and then, while my mouth is still all numb and drooly, I gotta go take my van in for an oil change.

None of which is scary.

So why is my chest constricted and my heart racing? Urgh. And oy. And ugh.

The oil change can wait til another day if you don't feel up to it.

That's what I thought, too...but then a bunch of other stuff came up, and it's gotta be done before Monday. And, really, I don't mind too bad- talking to people while I can't feel parts of my face and drooling and stuff...should be entertaining. For someone.

My new goal of the week:
Learn how to juggle oranges.

Not at work: But at home.
The end.

That reminds me of one time when I was bored, I decided to see how many grapes I could toss in the air and catch in my mouth consecutively. I did a few and dropped one or two, and then discovered that I was way better at it than I knew. I did like 100+ grapes in a row, and by the time I finally missed one, I realized that I was super full lol.

This was not at work, but at home, of course.

My dad is annoying.
I love him but he is annoying.
AND HE GIVES ME ANXIETY.

Every day he is home its like a constant to-do list:
"HEY CAN YOU CLEAN THE BATHROOM"
"HEY CAN YOU DRIVE ME TO THE DRUG STORE"
"HEY I WENT TO THE DRUGSTORE WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING BUT I WANT TO GIVE YOU A LECTURE ABOUT IT BECAUSE IT MAKES ME FEEL BETTER"
"can you pick me up some prune juice?"

And then as I wake up at 10 am, and I have to work at four pm. I feel all of this anxiety, not because I have a list. And I have things I WANT TO DO, before everything else.
And then that nagging feeling. UGH
because, HE WILL BE HOVERING OVER ME THE ENTIRE TIME.
AIR.
AIR.
AIR.
BREATHING.

Now if he weren't home I would be in complete bliss.
And I could listen to Christmas musics :3

'Murica.

Customer: "Now I must inform you that I know my way around a computer, I'm not a novice."

Me (technical support): "Yes sir...so how can I help you fix the problem you've ran into?"

I much prefer to help the person that is not tech savvy and admits to needing help than the person that calls me for help and admits to being tech savvy. I am by no means a computer guru or wunderkind myself, but if you're going to contact support, PLEASE shelve your credentials and your arrogance and level with me (and tell me that everything is going to be okay and that I look beautiful today :D).

I might take a nap soon. My cat was in my room last night and he slept on my bed. I didn't mind that. What I did mind, however, is he brought one of his toys with him. His jingle ball. It kept waking me up. I tried throwing it off the bed, but then he'd come back with it.

I thought I had a 3 day stomache ache, had an oreo shake and now I'm fine. What does that even mean.

I saw a hawk a few days ago, sitting on a tiny little tree branch. It didn't seem to mind that I was creeping on it, and I got a few good pictures. This one's my favorite.

Okay, so...I hate doing this but I am genuinely curious.

So, please note: I am not condemning or condoning one or the other. I am not trying to stir the pot or start something. I am not trying to pick on people.

I am curious as to the difference between joking about attractive firemen and joking about attractive celebrities?

Perhaps this isn't the thread to ask that, but I am not going to start a new thread on it. That seems a bit much, unless someone else someone wants to make a general thread about joking and inappropriateness, but I am not going to.

Like I said...I'm just curious.

I don't think there's a difference as far as the "who", but more the How. It's one thing to mention, appreciatively, how someone looks- it's something else entirely to make lewd or objectifying or suggestive comments about anyone's body.

Er...that's my feelings on it, anyway.

To me there is no difference. Inappropriate comments are the same whether it's a celebrity or the person next door. As Christians especially, it doesn't matter what role in life the person has, wrong for one is wrong for all.
