One, i was NOT trying to guilt OR shame him into anything. NO I don't think my problems are any more or less important than his or anyone else's..and NO, I do not think his or anyone's problems are less or greater than mine. Everyone has a right to complain about how their life is, all our lives suck at one time or another..I've questioned many times myself why I exist, and I've grappled with losing my faith many times, as we all have.

I have apologized to him, I sympathize with him and what he's going through right now, because it's awful to watch someone close to you wither away. I do hope that he will reach out and trust God right now.
Must've gotten confused when i read your entire post. 'How dare he'. 'While you sit nice and comfy' while going on and on about how hard you have it. Not sure how i could've gotten it all so wrong.....

What else? I have a habit of giving certain people at church a loaf of bread at Christmas. Some like white, some like whole wheat, and whole wheat can be frozen without impairing flavor. White can be frozen, and most people can't taste the difference between frozen white sourdough and whole wheat... but I know the difference. So I'm making the whole wheat now and I'll freeze it, then I'll make the white next Saturday.

Besides, I only have 22 loaf pans. I'd have to buy more pans to make all I need in one day.

Well, went to the mall after work since it's not far from each other and the only things I got were Neutrogena face cleanse and a cheap store-brand 'nutrition' shake. Not the things I needed to get since they didn't have any and maybe I didn't look good enough as to what store could have the possibility of having them.

I feel good, though. Minimal of paranoia/threatened feeling while by myself.

Oh, and guess who's turning the big twenty-one tomorrow. :D

Don't know why God ever bothered to make me.
Hugs. (Do sad ninja's accept hugs?) I'm sorry about your friend, it always hurts to lose someone. And I know anything comforting I try to say will sound just as dumb and cliche as it always hurts to lose someone. Don't give up, don't let this sorrow be the final word on your life. God may have something good just around the next corner, and despite being like Job's friends sometimes, a lot us here really do care about you.

Oh, and guess who's turning the big twenty-one tomorrow. :D
Congratulations on turning 21. Please remember getting drunk, puking all night, and waking up hungover is optional, not a required part of your celebration, no matter what pop culture says.

I totally gave in... and am having a liquid dinner tonight.

(I just brewed another pot of coffee.)

Cristen, that was totally for you!

Decaf hazelnut coffee, ample amount of cream, two packets of sugar and a shot of almond extract... tastes a lot like my double-shot amaretto I used to buy at the coffee house in college (but a whole lot cheaper.)

I need like, an hour long hot shower and ten hours of sleep. But tomorrow is Sunday, and I dunno if the hot water here can handle an hour long shower lol. I never tried it and never thought of trying it.

I am so struggling with my church life.

And I know it's my fault. I don't even know what I'm looking for. I don't feel I belong anywhere.

Some CC members need a swift kick up the backside.

(not any of you regulars)

And I need to learn not to let them get on my goat.

*Stands in a corner and awaits TinTin's shoe to "tan her hide".*

Be gentle, mate... be gentle.

The people who program the auto-correct function on smart phones are dirty, little school boys. And blasphemous creeps.

Wait, did he say "goat"... or "gRoat"...

Fight the dark side, TinTin.

It's just not worth giving away a perfectly good bowl of groatmeal.

Between cultivating sourdough starter, mixing up bread, kneading bread, letting it rise, kneading it again and putting it in pans, letting it rise again, baking it... I've seen nobody on chat. Maybe I should pick movie watching back up, it'd be something to do while I'm waiting for bread to rise.

Likewise. Struggle and perseverance = character, though. I hope you find your way. :)

I feel as though I need therapy after shopping at Walmart (even more so during the holiday season).

Ah yes, this is the magical time of year when you really need to have stocked up on everything you will need from Wal-Mart for the next month or so... because it really stinks standing in line half an hour for a roll of toilet paper.

In December if we need stuff we go shopping sometime around midnight. Less traffic and most of the employees are stocking shelves - they are positively eager to take a break from that and help you find something.

Happy happy early birthday JustAnotherUser!! An ADULT! What what!

*HUGS Rachel* Church shopping is SO HARD! I hate it! Can you visit church with a friend perhaps? That helps to get your foot in the door sometimes. All you need is that extra push from yourself to get involved and get to know some people, and it gets better. I'm sorry you're struggling with this. I'm praying for you! Whatever you do, don't give up... the longer we go without church, the harder it is to get back in the habit. (Believe me, I know.)

ZeroTurbulence... I'm praying for you brother. I'm so sorry for your pain and grief. I hope you can find an outlet for those feelings. Someone to talk to, someplace to just take time and weep and cry out to God. We love you here and we hurt for you and your loved ones.
