Talk about exceptions to the law?

This is the basic fact about the two laws. The Bible ten commandments POINTS OUT sin, and the ceremonial laws of Moses was the REMEDY for sin. The ten commandments STILL points out sin, but Jesus is now the REMEDY for that sin. The ceremonial laws have now been replaced by Christ Jesus, as He is now our sacrifice and offering to God for sin. But the moral law of God, the Bible ten commandments still stand.
Agree .... if we walk in love we will not break the ten commandments. All of them are related to self gratification. We need to put God first. Do we always do this? No we do not. Is the intent of our heart to do this? Yes if we know Jesus. When we commit sin, any sin, God is greater than that sin for sin has been defeated by the Blood. We have an advocate in Jesus Christ. All power has been given unto him in heaven and on earth. Can we earn this gift? No Do we deserve this gift? No. But it pleased God that a plan has been made through the sacrifice of Jesus Blood that whosoever believes in him can have eternal life. If we think we can be good enough to earn salvation we are deceived as we are relying on Self. Doing this will frustrate the grace of God. On the flipside if one feels that grace is a license to sin they are either deceived or are trying to twist God's word so thjey feel excused in what they do as 'self'...again self gratification. 'Self' so to speak was Lucifer's fall! 'Self' is also our shortcoming. Simple really. If we are willing to sacrifice 'self' and accept the love and grace that God has for us then and only then can we rise above the 'cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches, lusts of other thing sand so forth. Study to show ourselves approved.... Rightly dividing the word of truth...and leaning not onto our own understanding. Not spoiling th simplicity that is in Christ.

Impossible. They came upon it at dawn the first day of the week. The last day of the Jewish week began at sunset (our Friday) lasting until sunset (our Saturday) the end of the weekly sabbath. That put Jesus in the grave throughout the sabbath "day, then through the early morning hours of the first day, arising at sunrise (our Sunday) which began at sunset our Saturday.

Mark 16:2 (all KJV)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

Mark 16:9
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Luke 24:1
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

John 20:1
[SUP]1 [/SUP] The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

The Jews confirmed this.
Matthew 27:60-63 (KJV)
[SUP]60 [/SUP] And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
[SUP]61 [/SUP] And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
[SUP]62 [/SUP] Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

[SUP]63 [/SUP] Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

Jesus was crucified Wednesday, put in the tomb before sunset.
From Wed sunset to Thurs sunset is Day 1 in the tomb.
Thurs sunset to Fri sunset Day 2
Fri sunset to Sat sunset Day 3.
He arose at dawn Sunday. The women came to the tomb at dawn, the earliest legal time to be out of their homes, certainly not out during any part of the sabbath night 'curfew'.

The guard made sure Jesus didn't arise on any sabbath.
[h=1]Luke 23:52-55King James Version (KJV)[/h]52 This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.
53 And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.
54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.( it was going towards the sabbath or Dawning towards the sabbath at evening )
55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

. the Sabbath drew on (near)" (Luke 23:52-55) What sabbath was this? Some might answer, "Why ask that; there is only one".

No, that is wrong; there are other Sabbaths besides the weekly Sabbath. Let John explain, "... it was preparation of the Passover". (John 19:14) So the day of Christ's crucifixion was also on the day they prepared the Passover lamb, which was a type of Christ. (I Corinthians 5:7) "... it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day, (for that Sabbath day was an high-day)" (John 19:31)

Here we have the secret of the whole matter. John clearly identifies this Sabbath as an high-day, which shows it was not the weekly Sabbath. Another fact is: he stated it was the day following the killing of the Passover lamb. We must turn to the Old Testament record to find out about the date for the Passover. In Exodus 12:6-16 and Leviticus 23:4-7, we find that the 14th day of the first month was the Passover.

This is Jewish time and came in the spring time (month of Nisan or Abib). The next day, or 15th day, was a yearly Sabbath - the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (see Leviticus 23:4-7). This yearly Sabbath was an high-day in that it was Israel marched out of Egyptian bondage. (Numbers 33:3) It was the next day after the Passover. Thus, the Passover was the preparation for that high-day Sabbath.

If he was put in the tomb before sunset wednesday 72 hrs from that is what before sunset saturday ?

Abraham who had no law as every man did what was right in his own eye is a mystery. He was raised in a family that made Idols and were quite wealthy from their trade. Why did he hear God. Some say that Shem taught him. But there is no biblical reference. Why did God pick this Idol maker of the chaldeans which eventually became Babylon and take Judah captive. But we do knowthat this mystery man chose to believe God.

Yes she was a Moabite and not lawful for her to enter the congregation of the Lord. Exactly what I'm talking about. I desire mercy and not sacrifice and whosoever shall call on the the Lord thy God they shall be saved and whosoever shall belive in their heart and confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus Christ shall inherit eternal life. Not those who keep Sabbath.
what spirit beguiles thee brother? you r saying obey the 4th commandment and u will not inherit life?

A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord.
3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of theLord for ever:
How would you define a "bastard."?

Do you think maybe Abraham knew that God created for six days and rested on the seventh?

If a married woman or even an engaged woman had a child by another wouldn't that child be a bastard?
Could that child enter into the Kingdom?

Not according to the law, but according to faith placed in Christ no problem. A child born out of wedlock or adultery is considered a bastard. Man this was common knowledge 20 years ago.

In fact if David had not married Bathsheba after killing her husband, Solomon would have been a bastard.

I am amazd at this conversation! And at the lack of understanding of the gospel. Heb. is quit clear about the rest of God. Even Psalms speaks of it. God delivered his choosen people out of Egypt with a powerful hand, he led them through the wilderness, their cloths and shoes didn't wear out ,water gushed fro solid rock, meat from heaven , manna for the picking. Yet,they would not trust and REST in the Father, stiff necked they were called, complainers, a veil covering their eyes and heart, wanting to return to the pig pen of slavery and the ways of Egypt. They would not Rest in God...even though he provided every thing. They wanted to do their own will and way. So finially God gave comandments that instructed them on what to do, but still they stiffened their necks. They refused the Rest that God had provided them, even though God had finished and provided all. God had when he had finished his works, and had set in order all that was needed for life and it's continuence. The same has fallen to us in Christ, we can cease from our own works as God did from his. In fact if we don't we are found sinners, doing what is right in our own eyes. Sciptures say we should labor to enter into God's rest. When a man ask what he could do to do the works of God Jesus said this is the work of God , that you beleive on me . Jesus said he came to fulfill the law. Jesus refered to this when speaking about hate in your heart is equal to murder, or how looking on a woman with lust .is committing adultry already. David says through Heb. there remains a rest to the people of God, to usthere remains a saboth . a rest . a ceasing from our own works. Do we cease from our own works on a day of the week ? Ori s this a continual rest? Do we cease from our own works on Satuday or sunday and not Mon, through Fri? I think not,at least we are not suposed to . We sit (REST on a seat) in heavenly places in Christ. We cease from our own works, we rest in Christ from our own works and enter into HIS works for us. This is what the Sabboth is for christians. If you want to take a break on a day or meet with other beleiver on a day it is fine ,but that doesn't make it the Sabboth. We have inherited an eternal Sabboth with God. Not only do we rest in God, but he rests in us ,we are his temple, his body, built up an holy temple onto God.

my friend there are sunday churches that preach both thing contrary to the bible and things in the bible

What is you verdict on them are they right ?

Sda teach alot of thing contain in the bible and alot of things not in the bible

sabbath keeping is not her doctrine it is God
Its is the law...I grant you that...but it is not the gospel and it is not of faith. Those who worship and meet on the first day of the week are upholding the clear truths of the New Testament...somebody wants to meet on Saturday ...that's no big deal. But if anyone thinks they are in anyway being justified by such error, they are not in the true faith of Jesus Christ and should be rebuked for the spirit of error they have surrendered unto.

I think it is important to note that the women who found the empty tomb were still observing the Sabbath.

Important? ? ?

The birthday of the Church was NOT at or before His Death. It was NOT even The Celebration of First Fruits which is always celebrated on a Sunday, and Jesus is the fulfillment of First Fruits and HIS Resurrection is the First Fruits being waved. The Birthday of the Church is Pentecost SUNDAY, 50 days after the women found the tomb empty.

Leviticus 23:10-22 (HCSB)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land I am giving you and reap its harvest, you are to bring the first sheaf of your harvest to the priest.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] He will wave the sheaf before the LORD so that you may be accepted; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] On the day you wave the sheaf, you are to offer a year-old male lamb without blemish as a burnt offering to the LORD.
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Its grain offering is to be four quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a fire offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma, and its drink offering will be one quart of wine.
[SUP]14 [/SUP] You must not eat bread, roasted grain, or ⌊any⌋ new grain until this very day, and until you have brought the offering to your God. This is to be a permanent statute throughout your generations wherever you live.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] “You are to count seven complete weeks starting from the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the presentation offering.
[SUP]16 [/SUP] You are to count 50 days until the day after the seventh Sabbath and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Bring two loaves of bread from your settlements as a presentation offering, each of them made from four quarts of fine flour, baked with yeast, as firstfruits to the LORD.
[SUP]18 [/SUP] You are to present with the bread seven unblemished male lambs a year old, one young bull, and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the LORD, with their grain offerings and drink offerings, a fire offering of a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
[SUP]19 [/SUP] You are also to prepare one male goat as a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old as a fellowship sacrifice.
[SUP]20 [/SUP] The priest will wave the lambs with the bread of firstfruits as a presentation offering before the LORD; the bread and the two lambs will be holy to the LORD for the priest.
[SUP]21 [/SUP] On that same day you are to make a proclamation and hold a sacred assembly. You are not to do any daily work. This is to be a permanent statute wherever you live throughout your generations.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] When you reap the harvest of your land, you are not to reap all the way to the edge of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the foreign resident; I am Yahweh your God.

So may I ask, Why do you believe in Keeping the Sabbath and NOT this permanent statuteYahweh your God?

FEAST OF FIRSTFRUITS

Firstfruits was the first day after the sabbath following Passover. The risen Jesus Christ was seen that morning by Mary near the garden tomb. -John 20:10-18 Later He walked through the wall to visit with the disciples in a closed room. Thomas felt the wound in His side and confirmed that He was not a ghost. He was real. . . .

So First Fruits REALLY was celebrated on the SUNDAY after the Sabbath following Passover.
FIFTY days later, ANOTHER SUNDAY, Pentecost or Shavuot is Celebrated.
The fulfillment of THOSE FEASTS are the foundation For CHURCH-age Worship.

AND PAUL validated it:

1 Corinthians 16:1-2 (HCSB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now about the collection for the saints: You should do the same as I instructed the Galatian churches.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] On the first day of the week, each of you is to set something aside and save in keeping with how he prospers, so that no collections will need to be made when I come.
Acts 20:7 (HCSB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] On the first day of the week, we assembled to break bread. Paul spoke to them, and since he was about to depart the next day, he extended his message until midnight.

Are we in keeping with all the instructions written on stone by spiritualizing them? They all require action on our part, but they are to be done gladly, and with full acknowledgement that it is Him in us with ability to do, and not of ourselves we are mere vessels, His Spirit in jars of clay. He is glorified when we are obedient to Him it's when He Is Lord over us. It's not a mere philosophy, nor Greek idea that to know is better than to do.

Mt 5:17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Its is finished!
There is quite a difference between finished and fulfilled.

Take two styrofoam cups, one in each hand. Fill the one in your right hand to the brim with water and crush the one in your left hand and throw it away.

Now tell me which one is fulfilled (filled to the full) and which one is finished.
