You've been loosed from Moses if in Christ. No yiddas or yaddas needed. Trying to talk Hebrew won't help. Christ in you is your hope of glory. He is all you need. Jesus, this side of the cross, the risen Lord and Savior, not a mortal Jew of Israel. Moses died and didn't rise from the grave. Jesus did. Jesus had to die, go away, that the Holy Spirit would come in his stead.

Funny way to spell Moses...

Exo 25:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

LORD = Moses?

It is readily apparent we went to different schools.

I think they post all this nonsense to keep folks from reading things that help them understand the true law of God? Don't worry I will keep posting the truth on this thread and others and people will see and know how to really keep the Law of God! :)

Ro 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 ¶ What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

So being delivered from the Law means you are no longer obliged to keep it?

Mitspa, Hiz, Did Abraham have this knowledge?

Abraham did this...

Gen 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Now, Abraham is prominently mentioned as the father of the faithful after it was noted that he was a law keeper.

By the way, where are the names of those who rail against God's Law found in the Bible? I have searched cover to cover and can't find Mitspa.

I think the real issue is, why is it so hard for people to just do what God says to do?

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

The Pharisees taught legalism. Jesus taught love. We know the only way to fulfill what the law demanded is by love in the Spirit. So why are so many teaching legalism and not love? Do they "really" love Gods law? Why not teach how to keep it instead of how to break it through legalism?

what is legalism?? is it the opposite of love?? if it is then love is illegalism...if there is such a word...Was Christ teachings opposed to the law...??? or were they the same basic law with an attitude of love....???? as opposed to the Pharisees attitude of selfishness ...you seek to destroy God's law with your own wisdom...you cannot remove or destroy God's law....but in Christ you are removed from the law....that does not mean the law is removed...because if you remove yourself from Christ...then the law is there to condemn you....

He said the law is fulfilled in love...so when you love ...what do you do ...if not fulfil the law....it is evident then that you need to fulfil the law...in Christ....

Elijah19 hit the nail on the head in this post...

I would say the first of these fiends were the original Pharisees and Sadducees of the Bible. No, even before them there were people to whom God condemned for putting the laws of man over the laws of God.

That, essentially, is my point in full. Legalists are anyone and everyone who puts mans traditions over God's laws.
A scriptural example of this would be found in Matthew 23:16-24 or Isaiah 1:12-17.

Note that I am not trying to point fingers on here. I am not calling anyone a dangerous legalist. I am simply warning against the sin of legalism.

It is very possible to be an antinomian legalist.

All who believe Jesus Christ live in the grace provided by His Blood shed for us on the Cross.
Believing Jesus Christ means we love His Word. We know we are free of the law, but never are we to ignor the teachings from the law, for the law was given by Jesus Christ. He is the Word.

So with this all in mind, and the quewtion posed as the title of this thread, I love God's law.. It is not in my heart written to ignore His law, nor is it in the heart of any who love Jesus Christ.. May God bless all with His teaching and understand what He has taught us since Adam.

Going by the thread title only, I ask you, do you expect anone sved by the Grace of Jesus Christ to hate God's Law? Jesus certainly did not............. Also, shall the ideas and teachings of the Psalms be abolished for those who hate God's law?

This whole thing is always aimed askew isn't it Brother? Seriously..............Did Jesus not say "If you LOVE ME, you would obey me.........."

LOVE ME is what Jesus said....................

So, IF we LOVE Jesus, this whole thread is moot at best, inane at worst in my opinion.

The Law IS NOT greater than Jesus/God..............LOVE GOD, LOVE JESUS............everything else will fall into place.

(ok, outta here)

So being delivered from the Law means you are no longer obliged to keep it?
As I have said over and over...that only love keeps what the law demanded...I am and will always be under the law of Christ to love...I have been set free from the written code of Moses and brought into the NEW COVENANT :)

Mitspa, Hiz, Did Abraham have this knowledge?

What knowledge? and whats the point ? we have the New Testament and we have the true law of God written in our hearts...not on tablets of stone!

Under the Law of Christ, huh?

Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

so when Christ or I AM or the LORD spoke this...

Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

And then this...

Exo 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,
Exo 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

And all the rest that He spoke to Moses...

Exo 25:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Exo 30:11 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Exo 30:17 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Clear to here...

Deu 32:48 And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,

Are you saying that you are under that Law?

Your missing the point! The law is not in the "letter" its in the Spirit. The written code was only a shadow of what true believers have in their hearts...and its simply fulfilled in love....so why get caught up in all this legalism? If folks really love Gods law they would teach love, not legalism!

What? Whats wrong with you? Don't your love Gods law? Don't you want to see it fulfilled in love? Or do you really just love your legalism?

Uh, I do love God's Law. I love it enough to strive to live it.

Please read the post again. What point could I possibly be missing if I am going only by the title of the thread. This is announced in my post. God bless you.

Well of course most would at least read the first post to see the context... but Im sure your right to only read the title and then comment ...but having read your first and second post, im still not sure you understand that Gods law is not in the written code of Moses, its in the Spirit? God bless you :)

Well why not just fulfill it in love as the bible clearly teaches? Instead of all this striving in legalism nonsense!

I do, just like the Bible says...

1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
