I haven't been pursued by a man in 6 years, and you know what? I would really like to remember what that felt like (maybe not in this season, I think if someone tried, I might vomit on their feet).
So, Arlene... What ya doing this Saturday night? :D

I know, I know... hush Lynx.
Would you like to know what I had for lunch?

Oh, I get it the walk softly and carry a BIG STICK method.........
And be rugged and outdoorsy too then?

I can't believe I just made a Teddy Roosevelt joke.

I don't think Eleanor Roosevelt would mind (being dead and all). I've heard she was one tough lady!

Well she was married to the leader of the rough riders, so she'd have to be!

I also hear Martha Washington could bake a mean fruit cake (I figure let's start making presidential wife jokes since you opened the door to that one).

The history nerd in me has to point out that Eleanor Roosevelt was married to Franklin Roosevelt, not Teddy Roosevelt.

Botheration! Sorry. I don't know American History. I'm better with my World History.

i would be totally ok with a guy using a cheesy pick up line. For example:

"so last night i was reading the book of Numbers, and i realized I don't have yours."

j/k.

Man, that IS cheesy... but I think I can top it.

So the Bible specifically says Hebrews. Would you like to come over to my place for a cup of coffee?

Ow! Ow! Hey, no hard candy! Ow! Throw soft stuff next time!

Lynx, I knew you weren't serious. I was thinking more about her reaction to the joke. Thanks, mate.
It's all good. I have the vomit reflex, it turns all the guys away. Cheers, though. :)

My dear sister, I feel 'convict'ed.
Wait, Australia is full of convicts??!!! ;) Sigh. Still doesn't keep me from wanting to visit someday.

I would love to see if there is really a world outside of Australia!

Now, to keep my post in line with the thread... sort of. "What Would Be the Most Polite Way for a Girl (particularly, me ;)) To Get Myself Invited to Australia?!"
