Mitspa, can you quote me one verse in the OT that states that the law will save you?

Well The Old Testament law ...teaches the Old Testament law? So not sure what point you think your making?

2Co 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

Now why did Abraham keep the law? Maybe the law was already written in his hart by ABBA Father but Israel was so corrupted by Egypt that God had to give it to Moses in writing for them to acknowledge it. Israel believed when they saw something, and it took them 40 years to break the bondage of sin and religion they were part of in Egypt.

The law was written in man's hart before ABBA Father gave it to Moses. The 10 commandments God gave Moses was a confirmation of what Israel already knew. They were so corrupted by Egypt that they believed a golden calf could represent God and that they will be able to satisfy God with this moulded image. Imagine the corruption of God's word if He never gave Israel the ten commandments... They were being corrupted by Egypt just like we are corrupted by Egypt (our sinful life) until we turn to God, and yes then His commandments are written in our harts.

The commandments are the character of God and He teaches us how to build our relationship with Him.
completely wrong here...Abraham was never under the Mosaic Covenant. He was under the Noahic Covenant, which was the basis for the dispensation of Human Government...Abraham was declared righteous because of his faith.

You scold people here for being unlearned, but cannot even grasp there are 8 Bible covenants, 5 were with Israel and 3 with man kind in General....

That nowhere in the Bible the law will save you but relationship with God and therefor I said "Obedience to the word of God doesn't make you legalistic..."

Michael, I will repeat this because hopefully it will be absorbed at some stage:

The law was never given to mankind to save us. It was always (and please repeat this in your head) always relationship with God.

The law is God's character and that is why it is important for us to take note of the law...
wrong again....

Gal 3.21-26 says the Law was given until Christ and when Christ came we no longer needed the law....

[SUP]21 [/SUP]Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster until Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

[SUP]25 [/SUP]But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

[SUP]26 [/SUP]For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

The only thing you are correct about ehre is that the Law will not save you....

Something to consider. When Leah was given to give birth to another son, she said she would now praise Yah, thu she named the child Judah, which means praise or praiser of Yah.

If you find Yahweh difficult, know it is the Jewish name for God. Actually it is the Hebrew name, but I think Jewish may be understood better by some.

Now if eing called a praiser of God is being of Judah, actually of all Israel, one should not seek to be offended.

So, you are correct, the Laws given to Moses by God are for the praisers of God, or, Jews if you prefer. Either or is the same.

The Mosaic Law was given to the Jews only....the Bible proves this. Gentile Christians were never and now not under the Mosaic Law...

We often do but I am afraid it is over your head.
no its not over anyone's head but you and Jeff, because you both strive to be under the law, but you have been freed from the Law of SIN & Death[the law] by the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus[romans 8.2]

Obedience of faith and love...not legalism.

2Co 3:6 ¶ Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

The letter kills...legalism kills!

Interesting that you should say I scold, while I was actually keeping calm (tried to... clearly it didn't work).

The other interesting fact is that when reading the Noahic Covenant I can't see anything more than God's promise to Noah... but Abraham paid his tithe and also sacrificed animals for repentance of sin. Maybe before you start accusing somebody go and read the covenant and you will understand the point I was trying to make, and you clearly didn't make:

Gen 9:9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
Gen 9:10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
Gen 9:11 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
Gen 9:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
Gen 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Gen 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
Gen 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Gen 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
Gen 9:17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

How could we not be Israel. We await the New Jerusalem to be brought down by God,Rev.

The Good Shepherd has brought His other flock (Gentiles) together with His original flock, (Israel.)

It is hard to miss if we learn from the Lamb of God. Yes, if we believe Jesus Christ, we are Issrael.

I believe that I am Israel else Yeshua didn't came for me, and we know He is not a liar :) therefore I can also read this verse and understand that I will be part of the bride.

This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, [SUP]21 [/SUP]and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, ‘Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going.’ [SUP]22 [/SUP]And many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the Lord Almighty and to entreat him.”[SUP]23 [/SUP]This is what the Lord Almighty says: “In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’” Zech 8:20-23

Abraham never tithed and gave offerings for forgiveness of sins....he was not under the Mosaic Law. The Bible says in Romans 4.15 that were there is no LAW there is no SIN....Please read all of Romans 4. In Romans 4, Paul talks about how Abraham was not under the law and how his faith made righteous...

The first time the word worship is used in The Bible is in Genesis 22, when Abraham took Isaac to be sacrificed. Abraham sacrificed and tithed but not for the forgiveness of SINS, but as acts of worship unto God...

Read through Romans 4 and Genesis 22 and it will give you truth instead of the supposition you are spreading....
You are welcome to also study the below link, which will also give you some truth...

The first time I read these quotes wasmany decades ago. I have read it several times since then.

I was given many indications from veryu strange places that I was supposed to go to Israel. Finally, I ask God if He was telling me to go. He answered by saying "Go up, go up to Judah." I went, but I had been veryu reluctant to go for many reasons.

To this day I am not quite certain why He wanted me to go, but I went and stayed six months learning to miy own satisvaction certain points about the name of God, for myself, not for some kind of new dogma.

My point is this, there are two Jerusalems, the one on earth which is equated to Hagar, and the one to come down from God which is equated as of Sarah.

I was aware, and I am aware that I was visiting the one of Hagar, while I await our reunion with our King in the New Jerusalem of Yahweh. Israel is all who believe God, not the now physical one in the Middle East, though I love Jews more than most nations because of what they did for all mankind, being stewards of God's Word until Yeshua, Jesus.

If you are going to Jerusalem, please keep in mind, it is the Jerusalem of Hagar.-

Again the word of the Lord came to me: [SUP]17 [/SUP]“Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by their conduct and their actions. Their conduct was like a woman’s monthly uncleanness in my sight. [SUP]18 [/SUP]So I poured out my wrath on them because they had shed blood in the land and because they had defiled it with their idols. [SUP]19 [/SUP]I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered through the countries; I judged them according to their conduct and their actions. [SUP]20 [/SUP]And wherever they went among the nations they profaned my holy name, for it was said of them, ‘These are the Lord’s people, and yet they had to leave his land.’ [SUP]21 [/SUP]I had concern for my holy name, which the people of Israel profaned among the nations where they had gone.[SUP]22 [/SUP]“Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone. [SUP]23 [/SUP]I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]“‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. [SUP]25 [/SUP]I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. [SUP]26 [/SUP]I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. [SUP]27 [/SUP]And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. The Israel of this age hardly fits anything approcahing the Israel to come. Everything has an imitation, and, after eyars of careful meditation, study and reading, I have come to understand this age's Israel is but a staging ground for the final days, yet, this does not give rise to hating the Israelis, no, we are to love Jews above all others for they are the chosen of God. It would be hating ourselves to hate Jews.

Yes, I believe all that is written about Israel, now understanding all comes with prayer, meditation, time, and God's instruction.

If you accept the nation of Israel is being spoken of in the quote from Ezekiel, do you accept Ezekiel prophesied those words under inspiration of the Holy Spirit? If so, has God changed his mind concerning that prophecy in your view?
