This is true but it doesn't take away from the fact that He was speaking specifically of the corrupt earthly temple in Matthew 24. He just got through telling the disciples, who wanted to show Him how great the temple was, that not only was it not holy but corrupt and shall be total and complete destruction come upon it.
Exactly, Matthew 24... the specific Temple that was still then standing. Context brother. ;)

Let me tell you about the temple, Miktre

Zerubbabel rebuilt the temple foundations and all and that western retaining wall did not then exist

it was added after the Macabeean period by Herod the Great as the pharisees said to Jesus, it took 46 years to build this
You've got to be kidding if you think that wall didn't exist when Christ was teaching in Matt 24. You're explanations just keep getting more insane.

you have a problem with basic english?

When Zerubbabel built the second temple many hundreds of years before Christ that western retaining wall did not exist

so much for it being a foundation!!!!!!!!

do you walk around in a daze?

how many times do I have to post my references?

you think you are going to impress people because you say the same thing ten times?
Whoa whoa woe calm down I don't want you to hurt yourself.
Unlike you my goal is for a search for truth, not to impress people. You've done a lot of posting on this thread and have provided very little scripture.

They will rebuild the temple on the foundation(temple mount) but it will be for satan to sit in and deceive the whole world. Then shall that place be so utterly be destroyed there shall never be built another by hands ever again, forever.

A few problems with your interpretation, but one specifically I will address right now. I take it you are referring to satan sitting in the temple as Matthew 24 states.."When you see the abomination standing in the holy place...."

This HAD to refer to the Temple 2,000 years ago, because as it still stood it was indeed the holy place, because God made it holy. And as Hebrews 9:8 states...."
the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing."

the physical holy place had to be completely desolate and destroyed in order for the True, heavenly, Holy Place to be made available.

And compare text in Matthew 23:35a.." that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth,..."

Matthew 23:38.." See! Your house is left to you desolate;"

To Matt 24:15.."
"Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place"

There is a vast Word Study to even be had searching words desolation and desolate and will find they all refer to ancient Israel/Jerusalem...and ultimately the utter abomination on earthly/physical Jerusalem, the harlot and her temple.

search to see if such things are so.

He is speaking of Christ as the holiest of all.

And it will be when Christ comes, your point?

And compare text in Matthew 23:35a.." that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth,..."
Yes Christ is the true temple and?

Matthew 23:38.." See! Your house is left to you desolate;"

COMPARE:
Luke 13:35 (King James Version)
35Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

To Matt 24:15.."
"Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place"
When satan will build his temple on that spot and?

I have and you provided nothing that contradicts it, only backs it up.

Haggai 2 (King James Version)

15And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:
16Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.
17I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.
18Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid, consider it.

Praise God, isn't His word good? How can one not consider the very foundation the temple was built? They can't and they won't. Here we have where in Matt 24 Christ was quoting from the OT. praise God.
If someone wants to believe a lie bad enough then I guess they deserve to be deceived.
Interesting. I'm not convinced but I think that is a challenging point.

Yes so why are you taking it out of context as applying it not to the corrupt earthly temple, instead applying it to the spiritual?

Wether it be pre-, mid- or post-trib, it don't matter to me.

What DOES matter is until that event happens, people will die.

The world NEEDS to hear the Gospel! Don't let them go until they know Jesus!
As I pointed out, the two most important aspects of escatology are these:
1. Jesus is coming (and I believe soon).
2. we must preach the gospel to every nation.

Nope. the context it is in... the Temple made corrupt and left desolate in 70 AD... "physical" Temple...

Greatest catastrophe in history and to boot, their complete and utter rejection of their Messiah....

Glory to God that The Remnant escaped... 12,000 of 12 tribes... as well as all Gentiles grafted in. ANd all those who have been since and continue to be...... and "SO ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED!"

This is NOT "replacement theology BTW! I am sooooo not into "replacement theology" because Israel, remnant of Jews were not and never will be "replaced" !

This is "PLACEMENT Theology"... The Jew First and then Gentile grafted into ONE tree... NOT two trees. ONE tree. And ALL, both Jew and Gentile are ONE BODY... ONE BRIDE.... ONE IN CHRIST. Amen.

I never implied it is not desolate, was it not desolate when the true Holy of Holies, Christ was sitting there speaking of it? Stick to the subject, you said it was spiritual and not the earthly temple Christ spoke of in Matt 24. Now you want to tie a time frame around it so it happens 36 years after Christ was crucified, try to stay on subject.

Greatest catastrophe in history and to boot, their complete and utter rejection of their Messiah....
The rejection and murder of the Messiah is the one of the two thats the catastrophe, but what does this haft to do with the time frame of the corrupt temple?

Glory to God that The Remnant escaped... 12,000 of 12 tribes... as well as all Gentiles grafted in. ANd all those who have been since and continue to be...... and "SO ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED!"
Shall there not be a remnant saved in the last days?

The rest of your post starts to drift off topic. Your arguing points that haven't been made.

Here is how people over 6 millenniums viewed the bible's teachings.

7000 years after Adam.........................................3000 AD

6000 years after Adam.........................................2000AD

5000 years after Adam........................................ 1000AD

4000 years after Adam.....................JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED = 000

3000 years after Adam.........................................1000BC

2000 years after Adam..........................................2000BC

1000 years after Adam..........................................3000BC

....Time of Adam and Eve in Mesopotamia....................4000BC

The Bible tells us that for six days God laboured creating this world and then rested on the seventh day. In this same pattern but over six thousand years our world has followed similarily until the present time when we have arrived at the seventh day.

The Hebrews and Israelites have always begun their calendar from the time of Adam in Mesopotamia whom is generally thought to have lived around 4000BC. This would mean that their date would now be about 6000 years or more after Adam. With the culmination of this 6000 year period of world history, the Messiah is expected to arrive soon.

Christianity meanwhile, has set up its own time-keeping calendar based on the same principle of a day equaling a thousand years. After Christ's crucifixion on Calvary Hill more than 2000 years ago, his followers, the Christians began using their new calendar dating from his time in order to count the years until his return. The Bible tells us that Christ will rise again on the morning of the third day.

From the time of Christ, until the year 1000AD constitured the first day while from 1000AD until 2000AD would be the second day. The beginning of the 21st century is therefore the beginning of the third 1000 year period after Jesus Christ's crucifizxion and is therefore the morning of the third day. In this way it appears that the Christians and and earlyer hebrews were both expectant of the coming Messiah at this same time.

wow, I came back to the rapture thread, read the last 17 posts, and the rapture is not mentioned one time. think you guys may have gotten off the subject a little here. Or did you all get the rapture figured out, and just start talking about the temple . just one thought on the temple here, one of you said that the temple was a building and a building can't became corrupt, but the Bible says that our body is a temple and it is not what comes into the body that defiles it but rather what comes out of it. so to corrupt a temple, you could cause lies to come from it, you could cause back-bittings to come from it, to corrupt something would be like to change the Godly purpose that God design it for into some evil purpose. as a temple was designed to do the work Of the Father as Jesus said wist you not that I would be about my Father's business. so instead of helping people we cause the House of God to hurt people, then I think the temple has become corrupt, so I do think that a Building can become corrupt, when people uses it for something that it was not intended to be used for! and what did Jesus say that his Father's House was ? A house of prayer!!!! can a foundation be a purpose or the purpose of something be the foundation for why it was created?

Interesting application of this whole business. Not sure it works, but I think your point is true. There is much in scripture to point to the need for the body of Christ to help and not hurt.
