Q: Why is it that some people find it so easy to be dishonest?

A: Because some people are natural-born liars.

†. Ps 58:3 . . The wicked are estranged from the womb; these who speak
lies go astray from birth.

That's an interesting statement. It's saying-- in so many words --that
although infants are too young to lie; they are born with a proclivity to lie,
and that's what makes them wicked because that proclivity to lie is in them
and will eventually have its way with them.

Q: So then, seeing as how liars are born that way; don't they have an
excuse?

A: Apparently not.

†. Rev 21:7-8 . . All liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire
and brimstone, which is the second death.

Q: What if liars reform and stop telling lies?

A: They can't. Dishonesty is natural to a liar. Asking a liar to stop fibbing is
like asking Canada Geese to stop flying south for the winter. They can't
stop: they have to fly south because it's in their nature to fly south.

†. Jer 13:23 . . Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots?
Then you also can do good who are accustomed to doing evil.

Everyone on this planet has lied at least once......some are pathological liars, some lie by omission....the only man to never lie was Jesus......!

The legalism and judgment in this thread is horrid enough. But the ignorance in suggesting that the Precious Blood Jesus shed on the Cross is not enough to change a man is bordering on blasphemous.

"Let every man be found a liar but God be true." " To this end was I born and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth hears my voice." (Jesus)
All men are liars until such a time as they receive Jesus. Then Jesus washes away their sins, including the sin of lying. After that they are no longer liars.

when you say 'blood' do you mean genes/ chromosomes? I can tell you right now that the genes/chromosomes gospel is a 'lie'... a fallen spirit, a non elect angel, LIES.. because its 'father' satan is a liar, he has been a liar from the very beginning.. those who are lost -un- regenerated(including religious folk) these who lie all the time.. are most likely -------> daimonizomai-- under the power of a devil.... when somebody 'lies' or continues to lie.. even twisting the Truth to make it conform to their 'theology' it is because of a wicked spiritual presence.. not the blood, dna, gene-chromosome.. that dna gospel is a lie. its the works of the flesh.. When the Father shows you that. then you will understand..

Agree with this except last part.....they can be forgiven for lying but being saved does not mean they will always tell the truth....

Dishonesty is prohibited by one of the many commandments stipulated in
the contract that Yhvh's people agreed upon with God.

†. Lev 19:11 . .You shall not deal falsely, nor lie to one another.

Dishonesty is also prohibited by one of the many commandments stipulated
in the contract that Christ's people agreed upon with God.

†. Col 3:9 . . Lie not one to another

When Yhvh's people lie; they incur a curse because their contract with God
requires it.

†. Deut 27:26 . . Cursed is the man who does not uphold the words of this
law by carrying them out.

But when Christ's people are dishonest, they incur no curse because their
contract with God contains no curses.

Though Christ's people incur no curses for dishonesty, the fact remains that
all liars will be put to death in the lake of fire as per Rev 21:7-8, and also, all
liars will be barred entry to the holy city as per Rev 21:27.

Q: What about forgiven liars?

A: Forgiven liars are still liars and will continue to be dishonest just like
always. Forgiveness alone effects no changes to the base nature of one's
innermost being. Forgiveness is like taking a bath. Though your body gets
clean in a bath, your body isn't altered by it. You come out of the tub with
the very same body with which you stepped in.

The holy city described in the 21st chapter of Revelation isn't for forgiven
liars; it's for people who never lie; in point of fact: are quite incapable of it.

if you lie even one time even by a slip up you are a liar, if you are dishonest in anyway stretch the truth you are a liar, heck even a white lie is still a lie. But you see God looks at the heart not the lips. Believe me even if someone wasnt sinning by lying they would be sinning and deserving hell another way, so why focus on on a single sin like lying saying such ppl cannot change when we need to look at the entire picture.

We have to work on ourselves entirely not just not lying but not being prideful not being greedy not being cold hearted not being unforgiving ect. anyone of these makes us more than deserving to go to hell but Jesus took the price for us. you cannot judge one by their mistakes and cannot know the quality of their faith by their screw ups. I lie sometimes, I dont mean too I just would rather lie than hurt someones feelings but does that mean I cannot change?

Might I add to this that Christ dying for us all should also be our focus even towards those who are not in the faith. We were all once dead in sin, enemies of God and sinful by nature but redeemed purely by His mercy and kindness, we should also strive to extend the same towards unbelievers, we have no part in judging those outside the church.

The legalism and judgment in this thread
†. Gal 3:24 . .The law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we
might be justified by faith.

The koiné Greek word for "schoolmaster" is paidagogos (pahee-dag-o-gos')
which defines not a headmaster, nor a teacher, nor a tutor. It essentially
defines a servant whose responsibility it was to take their master's children
to school. In other words: a sort of chaperone who made sure the kids got
there; even if the servant had to take them by the hand to do it.

The "law" to which the writer refers is the covenant that Yhvh's people
agreed upon with God as per Deut 29:9-15. Although Gentiles aren't
contracted with God to comply with the covenant, it's useful for revealing
God's feelings about certain kinds of behavior; for example:

†. Lev 19:11 . .You shall not lie one to another.

Once a Gentile is made aware that their maker disapproves of lies,
henceforth they get in hot water every time they lie because God is lenient
with uninformed liars but has little patience with scofflaws.

†. Num 15:30-31 . .The person, be he citizen or stranger, who acts defiantly
reviles the Lord; that person shall be cut off from among his people.
Because he has spurned the word of the Lord and violated His
commandment, that person shall be cut off-- he bears his guilt.

With all due respect, I highly recommend that step aside, shut your mouth,
and let the schoolmaster do its job lest you be found opposing Christ instead
of assisting him.

†. Matt 12:30 . . He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not
gather with me scatters.
