You sound a bit separate. Jesus went into the synagogue and taught. From the age of 13 he went to the temple and taught. I think he understood them very well, and their ideas, and where their hypocracy really was.
He was very complementary. Do as they teach, not as they do.
The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

So I think it is very important to know messages, and know why it fails. Are we overcomers, or do we fall at the first sign of an argument? Your biggest enemy knows your biggest weakness, so listen learn and deal with this. It works because it has impact.
