I think maybe this thread needs to be shut down? There is nothing the rules that say Scripture must be used in each post.If the OP wants to block people let him. Its simply immature.Arguing with him makes it worse. As this thread has proven.

amen to that sister. That's what I was trying to say is, he's not the boss of any of us. He can't say "you're required to post scripture, or I'll put you on ignore." I'm not putting scripture up unless I feel the need.

I agree with skylove7.

Jason you throw around too many demands, you do not need to correct us ( it's not your job).
Especially when 90% of people on here disagree with the way you teach. I think its time for you to take a look at your actions. Most people on here get along, but for some reason you really struggle to have a conversation without posting scripture. Not everything in life requires you post scripture Jason. Its ok to be human.

Yes, we have been given some fairly clear instructions on how a Christian should live . . . and MOST strive to keep those instructions . . . those instructions are FOR us to have a life that is abundant, a life that is full. BUT that is not what Jason says . . . He claims that once we are born again if we fail in any instruction we have lost our salvation. These instructions are not to maintain salvation BUT to WALK the WALK.

Although you were there and that first post and a few that followed (as they always do) go after the poster, and after while of abuse that really didnt end up being a decent God glorifying post between us all.

It just often starts out this way, but like I had done right here, is you need to go outside the thread (into another) show the abuses (and where they start) but its always off of just scripture. Then come up some earlier issue where they can get you on a word, and in that thread one of there is as saying "feel good teachers" RATHER then "teachers after ones lusts" the second you use other words (in sarcasm) which they not only use themselves (ad nausuem) but the second you do you are meat for the vultures here.

BUT Jason will not admit that his constant attack on those who believe OSAS is a personal attack when he calls it evil and says that we are slaves to sin.

I've seen this several occasions - someone will post scripture, their understanding of that scripture and you come right back with "No, that is not right." That is why people have such a hard time with you . . . You CAN'T be the only one right on this forum -

I am here at ChristianChat in order to:

(a) Have fellowship (and learn the Word from others),
(b) Deepen my studies in the Scriptures,
(c) To teach what I have personally learned in His Word,
(d) To correct others in the Word (if they are choosing to disobey it).

For people can insult me, but if they do not offer any Scripture, then there is nothing for us to really talk about. This is a Bible discussion section on a Christian forum where we are supposed to talk about the Bible. But many here just want to insult you instead of talking about God's Word.

Now, there are those who insult me and also use Scripture, too. In these cases, I will try and reply to their insult with Scripture (So as to correct the bad behavior). But if they are using the Bible, I can at least have something to talk with them about. For that is why we are here. To talk about the Bible.

In any event, I say this not to wound anyone but the Word is why I am here. Not just the written Word but the Living Word.

P.S. From the posts I have seen you are a nice guy. I don't see why anyone would insult you. Even in disagreement.

I personally dont put people on ignore.I have a natural ability to do that all on my own. lol People that insult are usually soon banned. I guess Im not that thin skinned. And if I did put someone on ignore I wouldnt need a whole thread to announce it,but thats just me. When people are insulting other posters usually see it and call them on it. This thread is a big to do about nothing.Its beginning to sound like a bunch of cry babies.

I will use the King James Only argument, which you have used in past yourself Jason, you have implied numerous times I am a baby and lesser Christian because I have not had the truth about King James bible revealed to me by Holy Spirit and when I gain some kind of enlightenment or maturity then God will reveal to me the truth about King James Bible, which is ridiculous, all that based on a single verse regarding the word refined 7 times.

What GOd shows an individual is for their own use and development, unless God command the person to share it, same verses may be used by Holy Spirit in different ways for different people.

I hope you get strong on this: Don´t give up on teaching, if the Lord and His Spirit leads you to teach ALL THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW HIM.

Have you tried to approach real ppl, outside?

His call was to reach those, all those who badly need to know about Him (just few words you know better than me).

Mat 10:6 but instead go to the sheep who have fallen away from the house of Israel.

Mat 22:9 Therefore, go out to the ways, and call whomever you will find to the wedding."

Mat 28:10 Then Jesus said to them: "Do not be afraid. Go, announce it to my brothers, so that they may go to Galilee. There they shall see me."

One of the purposes of the Word is to correct others by telling them the truth in love and not to insult them.

Second, as for me believing God preserved His Word perfectly in our world language today: Well, it is a logical deduction that there can be only one Word of God for each generation (or world language) because you cannot add or take away words from it. You cannot add or take away words from a Bible that is fractured amongst many translations. Also, where did I call you a babe personally? Besides, your argument is moot, for I use Modern Translations all the time. So I am not claiming people should only use the KJV only. So I don't know why your upset that I believe the KJV is divinely inspired.
