Sorry, I thought you were telling me to read it and agree.
no no...I noticed you had liked it after I read it and I agreed with his post, so voila, I also liked it
He states "Because of this ... " which refers to vv. 18-25, which says nothing about homosexuality, but says He gave them over to "shameful lusts," of which homosexual behavior is just one.. That "giving over" does not bring on the sin of homosexuality any more than it brings on any other sin. Look at v. 28, where He "gave them over to a depraved mind," which brings on "every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity ... full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice."
that's not what I am saying...quite simply...God gave 'them' (He is still doing it, right?) over to a depraved mind because 'they' turned away from Him
Sin of any type, coming from a depraved heart, not just homosexual behavior.
There is always a downward spiral of sin if sin continues and homsexuality is not on the top of the list...it is the fallen state of a person made in God's image who has forsaken that image
I'm not saying it should. You should know my stance by now on same-gender marriage. But the reality is, we will be confronted by people who genuinely believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, but do not see their LGBT lifestyle as sin. That's what this poll essentially asks about.
I understand that and I undertood the poll...thanks
again though, homosexual behavior or attempting to coerce someone into their lifestyle should not be tolerated and that may become a real source of conflict in church where a certain group of homosexuals will want to test the waters and ramp up their agenda
