This is better

Only 8000 calories, they call it the quadruple bypass burger, cooked to perfection with LARD. Tag along with ALL YOU CAN EAT FLATLINER FRIES. Did i mention they were fried with lard?

Bacon cheeseburger, onions, ketchup, extra mustard and pickles! My absolute favorite! No tomato, mayo or lettuce... something gross about warm tomatoes, lettuce and mayo...

Not that it was any good, because McDonalds doesn't do 'good', but the McDLT attempted to "keep the hot side hot and the cool side cool..."

Gotta love Heart Attack Grill. Lard is the only way to cook fries.

Not sure I can love that though. The 80's was a weird time for music - sample synths were making a big splash and people crammed a lot of 808 sample kits, strung samples together into beats and called it music.

And they had some weird ideas about the New Thing in food... but they are still doing that. Latest flop was the sirloin burger, which sounds like a waste of a perfectly good steak... but it didn't taste like a burger made from ground sirloin, so it probably wasn't that much of a waste.

I worked at McD's when the McDLT was the thing. MEMORIES! The worst was, when someone would put the lettuce in the warm side. GAAH the smell of hot lettuce. *shudder*

Ps. Jason Alexander looks better bald than with that horrible toupee.

The thing with burgers is... well, sirloin isn't a good burger meat. Chuck is so much better. You need the 80/20 meat - 20% fat give the right amount of fat for juicy, tender burgers.

Please make mine with grilled onions, spicy mustard, cheese, pickles and a grilled bun. I'll have my salad stuff on the side where it can keep cool.

I agree that two of their sirloin burgers do taste horrible, but the "steakhouse" one (the one with the mushrooms and onions) is actually pretty good. In fact its one of the best fast food burgers I ever tasted... and that's saying a lot lol!

A burger tour? Is that really a thing? I've never heard of it.

I have heard that people in other countries believe all americans love hamburgers (and are loud, fat, obnoxious, like shotguns.) Don't believe the stereotype.

Now a Texas barbecue tour... If that is a thing, sign me up! Especially if there's barbecued brisket involved.

Actually, I've seen the commercials, they say:

Thought of that. But it's not PC to post chickens holding such signs. It's kinda racist. I figure. The cows in my post are not advising humans to slaughter chickens. Whereas the Chick-Fil-A birds promote the slaughter of cows!

Go for it. I go by the saying - "Most eat to live. I live to eat." :p

Now, please don't "J-juke" that!
