I know I'll get in trouble if I say what I really want to say and in the way I want to say it, so as is custom here, I shall scale it back to G-rated expressions.

The whole "Men Sharing Expertise On Women and Only Men Are Allowed to Speak" thread sounded a lot like Donald Trump running for president.

"I have nothing in common with the average American, no clue as to how the average American lives, and I'm certainly not interested in what regular Americans have to say, but here I am, in your face, and this is why I should be the one to represent The Average American. Oh, and by the way, all you average Americans? Shut your traps. I don't want to hear it. Just be good, sit back, and allow me to speak for you."

I know one thing a woman wants.

She wants to be asked what she thinks by a man who sees her input as something he doesn't want to make a decision without, and she wants what she has to say to be respected... and heeded.
I don't see any shortage of you guys giving your input.. :p

see here is the place I miss it...I understand being godly, kind and loving...but I cant figure out how I can sometimes hurt the feelings of someone I love and have no clue ?
But we do it all the time nonetheless... That's what happens when we have relationships with people other than ourselves... and that's why talking and being true to each other is so important.

One thing that I just can't understand is when the other person wants you to guess...

If I did something that hurt you, I want to know so I can fix it, or apologize, or simply understand.... and if I need you to do this for me, it is only fair that I return the favor and do the same... :)

It's like that story of the little porcupines trying to face the winter together. :) We'll hurt each other all the time, but not out of spite... :) And with love and understanding, these little things can be dealt with easily. :)

Women are respectful.

You demanded none of us speak in your thread and not a single one of us has.

Women are resourceful.

We know when something's not quite right.

And we work on righting that wrong, even while obeying said "rules".

When God saw that Adam needed someone else in the Garden, he didn't make a buddy for him. He made a wife. He made someone who encompassed many roles, wore many hats, who could do and be many things for him. He had needs and consequently, so did she.

Then sin entered the world and everything has been marching to hell ever since.

My point is this: we all need people of the opposite gender. We all need the counterpoints of men and women to balance us out. Too much of anything isn't a good idea. For example, I can't work in a group of too many women. The estrogen gets to me. Sweet Jesus! I love being a woman, but... women are... women. We need testosterone to create a homeostasis. A balance. And God bless it. However, the opposite is true as well. Too much testosterone isn't a good thing either. Eric Fromm wrote a fascinating book called Men in Groups. Group mentality can be a devastating force.

Anyway, I need a man to be Godly. I need for him to be my best friend, someone who will always be himself, who will let me be me, who will be my safety net, someone who will laugh at my jokes, and who will find ways to encourage me. There are many things I'll need but cannot list. I'm going to change over the course of my life, and so will he. I'll have to watch and make sure I'm a good, Godly woman so I can serve like I'm supposed to.

I forgot to say... more than likely anything I post in this thread from here on out will be sarcasm and a joke. Please keep that in mind. Thanks!! Mwah!

All right, Mitspa.

I'll admit I'm slightly smiling at your post.

However... I would have to try really hard not to laugh at anyone, man or woman, who complains (I'm not saying you are, I'm just saying in general) about being single but then says they only want to learn things about the opposite gender... from people of their OWN gender.

And, in reference to my earlier post, I may start calling you "The Donald" of the Singles Forum. :)

P.S. I admit, I'm a woman and I'm stubborn (I don't want to speak for all my other sisters here, but I know I am.)

And so if you told me, "You're fired!" (from the forum), don't expect me to listen. :p

Oh. It was a FUNNY thread... you are looking for some laughs? Well goodness, if you'd just said that up front we'd have ignored the whole deal and let you go on your merry way.

Don't say that!!! Cats are not evil!!! They cute and fluffy!!! :)

The fact that they want to conquer the world and kill all humans and can't do it for the simple reason that they lack opposing thumbs... that's just details!! :D

Personally, I hate cats. Hate hate hate them (ignore the cat sitting next to me and purring, she only does it to annoy me into petting her).

What I really want is a pet giraffe.

All I can say is, Mitspa, when you get a girlfriend/wife, I am DYING to meet her, because if she's even half the character that you are...

I have to admit. I'm kinda jealous of all the ruckus (not to mention controversy) you two are gonna stir up.

And honestly, I mean that as a compliment.

Promise you'll introduce her to us someday when you find her!!! And never tell her to put on makeup.

*reference to your thread*

Any guy who tells a woman she needs to put on makeup to go out in public/meet his friends... just might wind up being the one who's going to need to wear makeup himself.

You know... to cover his black eye.

(Hopefully, people can see the humor in this.)

Two hours into your thread, and your 5th post you dismiss a serious answer from a man with:
Come on! Guys need to be able to have a guy perspective ..and its all in good fun, so don't call down the gods of womens lib on me.
Eh, I think you want to play off that it was a 'funny thread' because you didn't like the answers you were given...even by men. It's all good, brother. But I don't think ANYONE thought you were trying to be a comedian.

WAIT A SEC.

You are now blaming men for not knowing how men communicate? Because it doesn't serve your perspective? Good night, Irene.

Where's the sink? I need to wash my hands.
