Ted Cruz isn't even a natural born citizen, he was born in Canada. Lol where is Trump on the birther stuff when we actually have a candidate that was born in another country? So much for Ted Cruz, but look at the silver lining, at least he can still read some Dr. Seuss books in the Senate.
So you ran out of substance I see. Nice.

How does attracting a crowd of 30k in Arizona not equate in your brain to getting people interested involved and "fired up"?
In "Network" whole cities of people ran to the windows and started shouting Beale's insane rant, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!"

That what the Trump followers are doing, Sirk. Shouting "I'm mad as hell" without knowing what to do about it. Neither did Beale in the movie. He said exactly that, "I don't know what to do about it, but we need to get mad!"

Trump in real life is saying the exact same thing. He hasn't a clue what to do, but boy can he get people stirred up and mad. To what end? "It is a tale. Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing." ("Macbeth, Act 5, Scene 9, Lines 26-28)

Anyone can identify a problem. It takes leadership, intellect, and commitment to actually solve it. Trump is not insane as was the character Beale, but he is woefully short on all three of these counts.

And furthermore, Never once have I said I will vote for trump or that he is my "boy"....as you put it.
Then it it truly a mystery why you would get so excited about people telling the truth about him, if he is not "your boy," is it not?

Because people are dying for someone to lead them. The general population is so dumbed down with propaganda and "newspeak" they don't know which way is up. It would be stupid to alienate that whole group. Something that Ted Cruz understands.

This may help you with that Canada stuff.

Cruz — full name: Rafael Edward Cruz — was born in Calgary, Canada, in 1970. His family was living there because his father was working for the oil industry at the time. They moved when he was four. Cruz grew up in Texas and graduated from high school there, later attending Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

Then for God's sake, look for a leader, not a buffoon without a clue! Geez!

The general population is so dumbed down with propaganda and "newspeak" they don't know which way is up.
Which is exactly why they wind up following either insanity (Beale in the movie) or ignorance (Trump).

It would be stupid to alienate that whole group. Something that Ted Cruz understands.
I'm not the people following Trump are true conservatives or GOP voters anyway. They need to be educated, though, you're right, not alienated. And if they're educated, they'll abandon Trump in a New York minute.

Seems pretty substantive to me. The natural born citizen requirement wasn't put in there for laughs. Though I can see your point, Americans love a circus. The only problem is at the end of the day they don't want to take the clowns home with them.

They ARE looking for a leader...and right now trump is giving a pretty significant percentage of people the hope that one even exists. My personal belief is that Cruz is hanging back and that he is the only one politically savy enough not blow up his campaign by going after trump...like so many are...including here on this very site. Jumping to conclusions is the point when a person quits thinking and it suggests emotionally based responses vs a calm, cool, collected and reasoned responses.

The U.S. Code and relevant court decisions have determined that "a natural born citizen" being one who is born subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, including, generally, those born in the United States, those born to U.S. citizen parents in foreign countries, and those born in other situations meeting the legal requirements for U.S. citizenship "at birth." (Maskell, Jack (November 14, 2011). "Qualifications for President and the 'Natural Born' Citizenship Eligibility Requirement"
(PDF). Congressional Research Service. p. 2.)

Cruz was born in Calgary, Alberta, when his parents were working in the Canadian oil business. His mother, Eleanor, is a native-born American, while his father, Rafael, is a Cuban who didn't become a U.S. citizen until 2005. He is qualified to be president of the United States under the United States Code, per relevant court decisions.

Though I can see your point, Americans love a circus. The only problem is at the end of the day they don't want to take the clowns home with them.
That's an excellent analysis of Trump's future as a presidential candidate.

Disengenuous on Cruz's part as he is trying to woo disfranchised Trump supporters.
That is an opinion that I disagree with. Not saying that it isn't right, but that I see it differently.

Right, Cruz was born in Canada. He can run for president, but he can't be trusted to be president. I think most people that follow politics know this.
Oh yes, the 'ol bandwagon argument

They do love a circus. It's why democrats keep getting elected...frankly...we've been bringing the clowns home with us for awhile now.

Well...if we have a reichstag fire and a long night of the knives I'd be more inclined to suspect t Hillary or Obama than I would Cruz or trump.

I don't care about a bandwagon. I don't trust a foreign born saboteur whom has tried to sabotage America before to be my chief executive servant. He's amusing for sure, but he is not going to be my servant. Simple as that.

When's the GOP going to wake up from its coma and start promoting their candidates that are actually good, that have actual experience and positive records?

Frankly, like I said months ago in the GOP topic, with the GOP promoting people like Trump, Fiorina, Carson, and Cruz I have to think that the GOP is intentionally trying to let Hillary win.
