It is a fact. GOP keeping Trump instead of booting him. They even are walking on eggshells to placate him. My opinion of that is it's pretty sad and shows just how desperate and disorganized the GOP has become.

Also, I have never said Trump is arrogant. Think you're confusing me with Viligant. I don't care about Trump's arrogance, that's even his own weak spot to be used to our advantage to get him to drop out. I'm against Trump mostly for his connections to my foreign enemies.
Which gop are we talking about? The Carl rove fix news version? It was pretty entertaining to watch them backpedal. I think you are confusing strategy with facts. This is a game of chess...not hungry hungry hippos.

He seemed pretty confident during his 10 hour "filibuster" -- also seemed very confident in his remarks towards Trump and Christie during the debate.

Nevertheless, thanks for sharing!

I agree with you on all points except that on his father -- I guess I'm too young to know his father.

(Edit: Haha! I just noticed that you're 26, while I'm 31 -- I guess I can't blame my ignorance on age!)

Thanks for sharing :)
his body language seemed off to me during the debates. Just my personal opinion. I felt a little uncomfortable watching him is all.

He did seem overly stressed that night -- perhaps even borderline angry.

He rolled his eyes at least once.

The reality is that Kennedy beat Nixon cuz he looked better for the camera. It's just the reality of the TV age. It's gonna take the right combination of message, delivery of said message, body language, tone, charm and substance to get the job done. And that I am reasonably confident as fact.

Whatever happened to 'content' rather than 'image'?
Oh, another bygone generation.

I mean the GOP as a whole, namely the party bosses (ie: RNC Chairman Reince Priebus). Though indeed even that sly little Fox is bending over backwards for Trump too. It is somewhat amusing though.

I've played a good number of chess games in my life. If this is like unto a chess game then the GOP is in a bad situation. Their pawn formation is all messed up and they're wasting moves with small pieces like Trump, Fiorina, and Carson. If you want to put Hillary in checkmate then I suggest you look to your power pieces.

I think it died as soon as the cameras started rolling. It's the reality of modern politics and the vanity of us Americans.

That is total nonsense voiced without actually knowing the facts.

GOP Candidates Jump on Bandwagon to Criticize Trump
Of course his opponents for the job are going to. Still don't see the GOP party bosses giving him the boot even though there is more than enough reason, especially with him threatening to run against them. I see the sly little Fox has come back groveling to Trump too. If Reince Priebus bans Trump from the GOP I'll reconsider.

I don't think this will do anything to Trump. He's all ready said before he is "very pro-choice" and yet still the GOPers want that Kool-Aid.
Your apparent desire to reject, even undermine, conservative thought truly clouds your ability to analyze a situation sometimes, GiS. How is "the GOPers want that Kool-Aid" when only 20% of them support him? And this?

Trump is merely lock-step with the GOP platform of talking a lot against abortion, but when it comes down to it, not really doing anything to end it.
While I agree the GOP having a dual majority in the legislative houses of the land could result in a bill that outlaws abortion, have you forgotten who's in the White House? They don't have a veto majority, just a simple majority. The bill would never become law, and the effort would be a massive waste of time since abortion isn't the first and foremost issue we need to address in Congress right now.

That's sad seeing one of the primary roles of a government is to protect the lives of it's own.

The government is charged with governance, not biblical morality. It does us little good to ban all abortions if we haven't got enough money to keep the government running so it can establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to the people and their posterity. In this life we never get any of that in abundance, but what we have is the best we can do.

Unfortunately, practicality often trumps the objectives of a people desirous of glorifying God. It shouldn't, but it does. Do you know how long it took Zerubbubel to rebuild the Temple? Certainly God and His people wanted Him to be glorified through that project, but the practicality of safety, security, and proper defense clouded their ability to 1) depend solely on God, and 2) seek His will and do His work.

Our problem as a nation is that most, even the believers, don't trust in God, count on Him to provide, and give them wise counsel. If we did, we would already see God reigning in His Temple on Earth. Since we don't, we persevere, and wait for His Perfection to take up residence among us. Then there will be no sin, no tears, no shame. Now, we have them all in great abundance, not just because of our disobedience, not just because as individuals we fail, but because of humanity as a whole.

When "every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord," then we will have perfection. Not before.

Your out to lunch
, no man can change anything and the political field is a mere puppet show to make you feel like something is being done...IT WILL NEVER CHANGE , ESPECIALLY SOME RICH ARROGANT ASSHOLE.

'Its harder for a rich man to make it to heaven then thread a camel through the eye of a needle " is how it goes I believe,

SO tell me how is he or anyone going to bring change , to a system designed so most suffer and not prosper

you will be hard pressed to find a genuine Man Of God in politics as its all lies and scams.

I can go on and on , Look to God Not MAN , When you do the rest doesn't matter...Everything has a course to Run ....
