How about them narwhals, guys...

Weird, aren't they?? They're like sea unicorns.

I'd post the Narwhals song, but it isn't the most CC appropriate thing out there. SO...if you're curious enough go look it up on YouTube haha

I can't understand how people can drink coffee.
Because you can't inject it. Duh! :p

When people say, "You look so familiar," following with "Were we in prison together?" is almost always a conversation killer.
I used to work with this gal, who, when introduced to new people and asked if she had any kids, she always responded with "None....that I KNOW of!!! **slaps person's side** *wink* *wink*"

Now that was a conversation starter!

Well...most of today felt pretty crappy. Just felt like laying in bed all day. And for the most part I did. But when my sister came home from work around 9 and asked if I still wanted to get food (I asked her earlier but she had to leave for work in less than an hour so she wasn't sure if we'd be able to do it in time), I told her yes. So I went out and I got myself a decaf almond milk latte, a Chipotle salad (steak, guac, and mild salsa. No need for a vinaigrette. Best thing ever), and then I went out and got the vitamin D3 supplement I planned on getting on Amazon but I found a tad bit cheaper in store. And then I got a slightly expensive chocolate that happened to be 2 dollars off today. So I got a dark chocolate with bacon and then a black salt caramel dark chocolate. I'm loving the caramel. It's a bit messy but totally awesome. The bacon one isn't bad either but has a weird aftertaste, but I'll definitely eat all of it.

Sometimes you just gotta treat yourself (as long as you don't overindulge). And I did just that. I feel a little better already, so tonight isn't ending on a very sour note. And since it's almost 2 am I think it's time I head off to dreamland.

Lol.... You don't even like whisky? My dad lets my try everything he drinks. And he lets me finish smoking his pipe. No, don't worry, it isn't unhealthy, cos with a pipe, you don't inhale the smoke, like you do with a cigarette. Anyways, I like Martini and Whisky the most. William Lawson whisky tastes the best to me. Tho Talisker is pretty good too.... *I suddendly notice everyone staring at me in horror* What?.... Oh, nevermind.
Uh. That's not wise. You're 14 years old. Also, smoking a pipe isn't healthy. It's better than smoking a cigarette (or so I've heard), but only marginally.

Today, I'm gonna go find a lake and jump in it.

No, really. Going to take my kiddos and my mom and go hang out at the closest thing we have to a beach and work on teaching my kids to swim. Because two things: necessary, and fun.

Also because I've had way too much in-law time and if I'm not home, she can't come in and take over. *sigh* Boundaries...they get trampled. Free frappuccino is not always worth the space invasion (ha, that sounds like...aliens...*zap*...um, maybe I'll put my laser gun away. For now).

Wow, that sounds a lot worse than it did in my head. I never ask for frappuccino and it's not a requirement to get to visit. I'm gonna stop explaining before I can't.

Lake!!! Wheeeeeee!

Oh, I don't know...

You could always follow up with, "Oh yeah, weren't you the one in Cell Block D??? I was the one who was always making shanks out of my toothbrushes..."

If nothing else, it'd be worth it just to see their reactions!! :D

The moment you have a meeting in 10 minutes and you haven't even gotten ready for it. Yikes.

Having days off are beautiful, but it also can be awful when you have responsibility because you don't want to do them.

It actually is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

Chandler, I think you're great. :)

But I always contest this. ;)

I have been thinking about this a lot lately, just had some triggers in my life. I would much rather have not met my ex-husband than to always know that he is happy loving someone else, and raising the children he told me we would have together with her. I'd have rather kept on believing in a bit of a fantasy... Than to experience it and have it crash and never find it again.

But *shrugs* that's just me. For all those who have loved and have no regrets, I salute you!

Yeah... that is hard... :(

But I love love... :) I rather love and then spend a whole lot of time hurting than never experience it...

It took me a long time to get over my ex husband... almost 6 years... but it is possible!! And I don't regret anything!! :)

14? Now I feel bad about my comment about her whiskey drinking. Not cool in a 14 year old. I'm not against a nip while cooking, even at that age...but to go on about that and smoking a pipe.

No.

last night, i had a dream i was (yet again) in college. i skipped classes for a week, and when i came back, i had a message from a classmate asking where i was. apparently, i was in danger of being dropped from classes because of my absences.

also, my roommate was some kinda weirdo.

Oh...see, thought your comment was sarcastic and it made me laugh...

But really, a 14 year old posting something like that isn't funny.

But... you don't have to TELL everyone that I'm a weirdo, Melita. :p

Don't worry. They'll be able to figure that out on their own.

A person's position in an online community does not always reflect who they are in real life.

As with all things, we need discernment.

I had a friend on CC , who was among my first who got banned for what I thought was an absolutely stupid and ridiculous reason (not even theological).
I thought it was more petty than constructive...but anyway the point is not to discuss bans.

I am very grateful to God for our continuing friendship despite not being on CC. This person is one of my best friends - absolutely delightful and one of my biggest supporters.

Definitely he is one of the smartest and most knowledgeable people I have ever met on the internet and I am so glad I have that privilege of knowing him.

He made CC an amazingly fun, humorous and enjoyable place and ever since he left, CC has never managed to catch up to that intellectual speed.

I love him! He recently even became a channel for me to support someone else in a place where I could never have done before.

But yeah he's real :)

That's what matters (and he's a solid Christian) yay!

Look, guys. It's really nice of you, that you're caring, and worried about my health, so thanks for that. However, I just want to mention that I do drink just a few sips of whisky. I sometimes drink a whole glass of champagne, or cherry-beer or something, but my dad always puts a time on it. For example, I've got to keep my glass for the whole evening. He always makes sure I don't drink too much, or too fast. He's the nicest, most caring, christian man I know. He'd never want me to get sick or be un healthy. I really don't drink a lot, honestly. And about the pipe...When I "smoke" it, it's basically fully smoked. I do the last bits. And I don't inhale the smoke. You just blow it out. http://pipesmagazine.com/blog/pipe-smoking-lifestyle/health-benefits-of-pipe-smoking/But anyway, thanks for being concerned :)
