This world is increasingly negative and quite honestly some days are a struggle. I challenge you to find something you are grateful for each day.

What are you grateful for today?

you know no matter how bad life is or how wrong a day goes I am always grateful that I have God. even when things are at their worst I can go into my room and simply be with him talk with him laugh with him. These times are the most precious times for me and nothing ever compares to them not even the finest things in this world, those times when we simply be still and be with him.

Today I'm grateful to have friends who are wiser and more patient than I am, and who are also willing to tell me when I'm being a little too hot-headed :)

I'm grateful for homemade mac&cheese. Sooooo much better than that "cheese" powder packet.

Oh... I um... I should (munch) mention this has nothing to (munch) do with anything happening here tonight. We're certainly (munch) not eating mac n cheese for (munch) supper. If anyone gets any ideas (munch) don't bother showing up here because (munch) tonight we're having something a lot more (munch) boring for supper. Yeah... (munch munch)

I am so grateful for my business. God blesses me so much through the creative process. Also, because of his creativity that I just tap into, I make safe food for so many on specialized diets.

Today I'm picking out cookie recipes for our festival that happens this weekend. I have all of the ingredients needed on hand and I can just pop out and bake. Right now I have a few batches of cookie dough scooped and freezing to be baked off later. Isn't that just awesome? I'm not stressed out, I'm having fun and I've had a lunch of delicious cookies! :D

* I was grateful to work an early shift today so I was able to get some things accomplished before the rush.

* I was grateful to get a drawing and a letter from my sponsored child through my former adoption agency. It's a feeling I can't describe... Like I want to help someone else hopefully complete the cycle.

* I was really grateful to receive an update and small sample packet of corn my adoption agency is sending to North Korea on a relief mission. Due to strict government regulations, they are only allowed to send out updates on their program once a year, so I was really excited to receive the information.
