Lol I wouldn't be surprised if Scott Walker threw in the towel, he's not going to win, the competition is too strong. This is not a common GOP tourney. Went from the big tent to the circus to a right on joust, Sir Desdichado. Who is Ivanhoe? Though to be forthright with ye I never finished that book before I got bored of it, so I suppose I am Wamba in this regard lol.
Walker is not going to throw in the towel unless his negatives are high at this point. How do I know? He's staffing up.

The trouble is a lot of them are idiots. Personal opinion there.

Hahahaha. Wamba. I love it.

By the reasonable side of politics Walker be a contender surely in the upper part of the echelon like before Trump entered the race. Silly season came and went though and now there be a joust. Scott Walker appeared to people too weak, I do not think he will stay on much longer. I suppose though that might be his little plotline to watch for with the debate. Whether Walker can distinguish himself amongst the pack or whether after this debate he'll be put to the side.

Just finished watching the JV Team debate. I was actually happily surprised with it. Didn't think it be so good with only 4 people, but it was pretty good. Very feisty and more debate-like. I think all the candidates did fairly equally, but I liked Bobby Jindal the best of the 4 for his well roundedness and energy.

Looking forward to the prime time debate indeed. From my impression of the JV debate I think we may see a right joust indeed! I'll get a video later tonight or tomorrow for ya'll, but for now here is a live feed.

Interesting that they put Bush and Trump next to each other. Looks like Bush is the nutless GOP neutered attack dog. Lol

I think they went by their percentage's of popularity. They wanted the front runners close. Should be interesting, to put it mildly.

Wow...interesting that CNN is going after Trump right outa the gate. Sounds like Cnn is using "Republican" talking points for a change.

Too much trash talk already. I understand a little, but it's time to, "talk turkey".

I think the moderators are just trying to give them, "as much rope as they need to hang themselves".

That nuclear treaty means nothing. It's just to meet legal obligations. Smoke and mirrors.

Edit: You have to be able to build a case against them with NATO and the EU. Waste of time debating.

It's hard to say who won. I liked it though it was not as much a circus as the FOX show, but still pretty decent. I'm going to have to replay this one for sure. Just off first impression I think Jeb did well, not for anything particular he said, but frankly I was expecting Trump to annihilate him or for him to choke a lot, but he did much better this time than the first debate by far. Most improved maybe be a better way to say it. I liked Rubio too, but I thought he did strong in the first debate whereas many thought he did weakly. I see a lot of people didn't like Rand Paul, but under consideration that he got attacked a fair bit, I think he held his own pretty well. Keeping an eye out for Scott Walker as per my earlier discussion here with Sir Desdichado; I think he did do okay in this debate to the end of him justifying keeping his campaign afloat a while longer. Walker also did much better in this debate than the first.

I was actually a bit disappointed with my servant Kasich whom I am the most partial towards. I am glad many others think he did well, and indeed Kasich has a bonafide good and prosperous record for Ohio, I have to attest to that. I think he did well and answered well on many of the issues, but his position on the Iran deal I did not like. It really rubbed me the wrong way the most of any q&a during the debate. I get his point in wanting to try to maintain our unity with the Europeans thereby allowing Obama to do the deal since even if the US doesn't support it Europe still will. The current conditions to the Iran nuclear deal are simply too ludicrous to be accepted though, I liked Cruz and even Trump's points on this issue.

As for Trump, the main show, I was actually hoping he'd be his usual self on pure offense. I was in some ways very happy with his show and at the same time disappointed. He did do very well, but he was not as able to just trump his opponents this time around like in the first debate. Still a pretty good showing by Trump though he was definitely less on the offense. In a way he could be reckoned the winner merely by holding strong.

I think the outcome has been obvious for a while, but it's one many on here aren't going to like.
I'm starting to think mr Jeb Bush will take home the win and become the GOP candidate. I like Carson, but he has some momentum to create. I think he looked a bit lost sometimes during the debate, and like somebody allready has observed, he is a novice, and when the race narrows he might could find himself too far behind. As for Trump, well, I'm not saying he is not going to win, and I might be wrong thinking he'll make a bad POTUS, but there is something fishy about him, I cant really figure him out, and in a negotiation situation that wont help matters, in my opinion. The good thing, for the GOP, about mr Trump, is that the GOP candidate will be a clear alternative to the Hillary campaign, and yes, I'm pretty sure she will be the one running for the Democrats. All added up, this will, the way I'm seeing it, be a Clinton/Bush race again, and it will get ugly.

I was thinking like this way earlier before the whole cycle got started, but now I'm not so sure about Bush being the GOP nominee anymore. He did better in this debate, but not sure if it is well enough to pull him out of his slump. I like having him in the race though he adds to the overall theater of it all nicely.
