I'm pretty sure that thousands of other people in this world have the same opinion of pedos that I do. They are even viewed as scum in prison by the other inmates. What does THAT say about how fellow criminals feel about pedophiles and rapists? They go to prison and get raped and sodomized themselves, by other inmates. And as those pedos are being raped in prison, I'm sure they're regretting touching the kids they played with, that landed them in prison. :/

Exactly, Magenta! I think Blue has the right to tell us how she feels...if you disagree with it, then fine, but don't try and force her to change her feelings or opinion.

I'll say whatever I want, regardless of who likes it or not. Evidently we're all supposed to be one-minded robots..

It happens on EVERY thread, in every forum. Especially the bible forum and singles forum. I only allow so much, then watch out, cuz you ain't gonna like what you get. ;)

The problem with saying what we want is allowing others to say what they want when we don't like it, or don't want to hear it. That happens, too...

It's really not so bad here compared to other places I have been. My first site was secular with little moderation. You would maybe not believe what I "put up with." I used to tell my daughter about some of the people and the things they said to me (atheists hating on me simply because I am Christian and standing up to them) and she wondered how I could stand it. Honestly, a lot of it just made me laugh. It was pretty comical at times.

Just because a lot of people feel that way does not make it right or acceptable to God.

Society believes this way so therefore so do I is a dangerous concept to go by.

Finally you do realize that being raped in prison does not happen as much any more because of severe hate crime sentences of 10 to 15 years will be added to anybody who harms them ???

Plus a lot of places now separate them from other inmates.

Repaying evil with evil is sin !!!

There is nothing wrong with giving one's opinion, but I just pray when given if how the person feels is against God's way they seek out to have their heart softened before it is to late.

Those men are in prison. Some of them don't care if they get extra years added on, particularly if they're ALREADY on death row.

And yet, sometimes they end up dead anyway, don't they?

Oh, I agree. It just seems people want to have their say and have everyone else keep quiet if they are going to disagree. It is a joy to find kindred spirits :)

I don't hate rapists or pedos. I just don't like them, and I would certainly never let one near MY kids..

I think the news forum has equalled the Bible forum.. Then again I never go to the Bible forum so you would probably know better than I would in that aspect.

In response to your questions, I don't have any "known" victims. I can't say ages or gender. I assume since it was about 2:00am on a college campus, everyone should have been of adult age. I was at a college campus back in the state that I lived in and I was drunk graduation night and went streaking the campus. Myself and 4 other men were convicted.

If this is what actually occurred, this is all ridiculous. No one should ever be convicted of being a sex offender for this! I'm sorry I even got into this discussion now...

Wow! Dang good question, very difficult... I think at that point the sex offenders should restrict themselves to going to services just when there are other adults around. Obviously try and stay away from kids. Like I feel like after serving their time and realizing what they've done, they should know and try to keep things safe for others. And obviously if they are not repentant at all then they should go back to jail.

That is your choice and only goes as far as if you know they are one.

Like another said earlier you probably don't realize when you have gone shopping how many you may have passed and even said hi to, or even dealt with that worked at the store, gas station, or wherever.

You see only knowing leads to disrespecting, which is why labeling a person is shown to be wrong in the bible.

Then if you KNOW for positive that someone is a pedo, then they SHOULD be labeled as one so everyone knows what they are and can monitor them. jmo
