What you did before, doesn't even enter your mind now - it's unthinkable, right?
Holy Spirit doesn't put that thought of sin in your mind and then tell you 'NO!'
Holy Spirit reminds you of who/Whose you are and you act accordingly - it's your New Creation Nature in action =o).

So it is satan, now that convicts me and not the Holy Spirit?
Funny, even you can't use the word
'convict' but use the word 'remind' instead.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. (from Revelation 12)
13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. (from Colossians 2)
It's what Satan does, accuse. He has no real weapons, because the debt that stood against us was nailed to the Cross. When that happened, the rulers and authorities of this world were DISARMED. Because God is not holding the sins of those in Christ against them - all sin is forgiven for those who receive that forgiveness - AND God chooses to remember those sins no more.
So all Satan can do is to accuse us.
Are you going to believe what Satan has to say about your relationship with God or are you going to believe what God has to say about your relationship with Him?
