Review Acts chapter 15 kjv, strong words in there. Subverting souls.

Pay attention to verse 28 "For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost"

Yes this chapter speaks of the written ordinances of the Mosaic law, as they are discussing what ordinances should still be observed by Gentile believers or if they should keep the whole law.

They came back with only 4 ordinances that should still be upheld by Gentile believers:

"Abstain from things polluted to idols, sexual immorality, things strangled, and from blood"...Acts 15:19, 29

This was said in verse 28 that the Holy Spirit approved of this, as you have shown, but this does in no way do away with the 10 Commandments. Three of the commandments as a fact are shown here !!!

Its late... Im getting tired ... the great debate will continue for me tomorrow

what?
Ro 7:6 But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that wherein we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Howbeit, I had not known sin, except through the law: for I had not known coveting, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet:

No ....all things written in the book of the law...every jot and tittle ... Its heresy to teach the law is "broken" into parts.

No that is not heresy, it is only heresy to you because that is the false teaching you have been lead in.

Romans 3:31
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

The self-righteousness/holiness D.I Y. mindset can be seen in the below quote...compliments of FreeNChrist..

"You may have harnessed the energy of the flesh in an otherwise quite genuine desire to honor the Lord Jesus in your life. The flesh, which has its origin in Satan, will go along with you; to survive, it is quite prepared to engage in every form of Christian activity, even though this may seem to honor Christ.

The flesh will sing in the choir, teach Sunday school, preside at a deacons’ meeting, preach from the pulpit, organize an evangelistic crusade, go to Bible college, volunteer for the mission field, and a thousand other things, all of which may in themselves be otherwise legitimate, if only it can keep its neck out of the noose. The flesh will threaten, shout, strut, domineer, sulk, plot, creep, beg, plead, or sob, whatever the situation may demand in the interests of its own survival. By any and all means it will seek to cause every Christian to live by his own strength instead of by the power and grace of the Lord Jesus, and to conclude that doing so is actually a good thing!

The characteristic of the spiritually immature is that they are unable to discern between good and evil (Hebrews 5:13-14), and the baby Christian, like the foolish Galatians, “having begun in the Spirit” still tries to be “made perfect by the flesh” (Galatians 3:3).

We must be particularly patient with those whose lack of understanding allows a genuine love for the Lord Jesus to be satisfied with, and sometimes to be quite enthusiastic about, Christian activities involving means and methods which are heavily contaminated by the flesh. These are more deserving of instruction than rebuke, for they are still in their spiritual babyhood.

.....The flesh will seek to produce the most plausible arguments in justification of its own illegitimate activities, even though these activities are only what the Bible calls “dead works” (Hebrews 6:1; 9:14) and not the “good works” which are truly the work of God.

“Good works” are those that have their origin in Jesus Christ, as Christ’s activity is released through your body because you present it to Him as a living sacrifice. You do this only by faith that expresses total dependence, as opposed to Adamic independence."

Major Ian Thomas: The Way Of The Flesh; from The Indwelling Life of Christ

I hope you guys realise that Mr Thomas would not agree with the exagerated grace promoted as 'hyper grace'. However, his full sanctification type of theology led to the hyper grace.

Read it again, you might recover yourself from error. KJV, friend, vs 5

All the law is fulfilled in one word...love .....you don't have to worry about keeping all those rules in the law ..if you have faith working by love ..you will by nature do those things in the law ,...not by the letter but by the Spirit.

See now you are saying the same thing that we are saying, why the debating then ???

Acts 15:5 (KJV)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. ( either moral or otherwise..as that is done in the flesh..if by the spirit of life in Christ..we walk in love..that fulfills it.. )

I have read it many times and did study on it and there is no error, they are speaking on the Mosaic law here !!!

They all agreed on just those 4 ordinances from the Mosaic law..................

What error are you trying to claim here as it is pretty straight forward what they are discussing ???

I like this ha ha... MMmmm ''moral''' and 'law' and 'things should be done' (from another thread).

Christ has made all food clean, in the moral sense .... But pig can be destructive to those with health issues and as all things are lawful, all things should be done in moderation.

Why did you like Complete_In_Him post when she said I was in error, yet your own scripture you gave here said exactly what I said that the Mosaic law (law of Moses) was being discussed here.

She said I was in error when it clearly shows the Mosaic law is what is being discussed for Gentiles to keep or not, and verses 15:19 and 15:29 says which one's Gentiles are to obey !!!

Because Kenneth...one can "do" the same outward act and be in the flesh ( see Ian Major quote again ) or be in the spirit done by the life of Christ flowing our from Him through and in us...good acts by themselves are not barometers of walking in the spirit per se....

I have to go but I will leave you with this about "doing righteous deeds "....again.. taking a good look at what the Major said ought to make things clear....."The Way of the flesh"

Doing righteous deeds by themselves does not make one righteous. This is having the cart before the horse.

I know there have been "good" people doing "righteous deeds " but they were not belonging to God. Many religions have moral living people in them - all doing "righteous deeds".

Here is how righteousness comes to a believer....we need to be righteousness conscious...not sin-conscious...we have a new creation in Christ now! This "righteousness " will manifest outwardly in doing righteous deeds - but we need the "horse" in front first.

The "horse" being Christ's righteousness in us because of our being in Christ in our inner man..our new creation in Christ.

Awake to who you are in Christ!..Awake to righteousness..when you see who you are in Him in your new man..you become like Him outwardly.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (NASB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
[SUP]18 [/SUP] But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

are being transformed = passive = which means something is doing it to you - you are not doing it..

Hebrews 5:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.

Romans 5:17 (NASB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 54:14 (NASB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] "In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NASB)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

When you see who you are in Christ because of His finished work...you become outwardly in behavior what you are truly like in your new inner man where Christ dwells..

Because Kenneth...one can "do" the same outward act and be in the flesh ( see Ian Major quote again ) or be in the spirit done by the life of Christ flowing our from Him through and in us...good acts by themselves are not barometers of walking in the spirit per se....

So as a christian 'in the Spirit' do you 'do' things or are you a robot? Is it not synergystic?

These are the facts of my Christian life. When I thought like the Grace-plus works people, by trying not to sin, failing, feeling awful, repeat cycle over and over and over, I sinned more. To the point that the Lord had to open my eyes, in a painful, but necessary way, to this folly that caused me such misery. I PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME FOR THAT!!!,

I am now by no means perfect or never sin, BUT the Lord has shown me that He loves me so much that ALL my sins are not only forgiven, but FORGOTTEN.

The TRUTH is that since this realization, ALL the sins listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9, most of which I struggled with, I not only DON'T engage in, BUT NO LONGER DESIRE TO ENGAGE IN!

This fact more than any other tells me that the Grace-plus ANYTHING to attain OR maintain salvation thinking is false and sinful.

Peace Love and Grace to you all. In Jesus name.

It says they are "believing", sect of the Pharisees which believed(they believed the gospel of their ministry). What this means is they kept the whole law of commandments without division and notice, it says in vs 1, ye cannot be saved.

Well they may be lots of truth in what your saying ..but the bible clearly teaches that legalism (the Ten Commandments..law of Moses) blinds people from seeing the truth of the gospel... you cant walk in the Spirit apart from understanding the gospel. You cant say walk in the Spirit and then you will understand the gospel ...it don't work that way.
No offence, but you do not understand what I'm saying.

No offence, but you do not understand what I'm saying.

Don't feel too bad. No one understands what anyone else is saying on these threads. They have effectively chopped and diced scripture up into confetti and are throwing it everywhere.

Galatians 3:2-3
[SUP]2 [/SUP]This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Are you made perfect by trying to attain Gods Morals? No. That's self effort. Flesh.

Are you made perfect by trying to gain self-control, by trying to have patience? No. That's mimicry by your flesh of what is freely given by the Holy Spirit.

Its called fruit of the Spirit for a reason. Not fruit of trying real hard to be good.

There is only one way to grow these fruit of the Spirit. That is by coming to Christ and being given this gift.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

We are given Gods "morals" as a gift. We are given obedience as a gift, the fruit of the spirit. We don't work at them.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Why... do the moderators keep allowing multiple threads on the Hyper-Grace doctrines of men here on this forum?

I thought multiple thread creation of the same thing was taboo on this forum? Why are there so many of one thing allowed?
There's factual evidence that not only will hyper-grace & like doctrines continue, they will win their arguments. Yes, factual. Yes, WIN.

Read your bibles..... it says there will be a great falling away in the last days. How will millions of church-goers be led away? False doctrine, of course. Doctrines that will always be easier to live than the truth. Doctrines the majority will follow & are happy to teach/preach it.

Now, some more interesting info..... One of the reasons those who promote this doctrine will win the arguments is because it's a setup. Yup.
Here's how:
1. large group of members that comment on various subjects pulls together on the hypergrace issue while a few others will argue against it.
2. Said group against the doctrine has members in it that are actually for hypergrace that are sabotaging the argument by making bad statements & looking ridiculous, causing the readers to believe the hypergrace followers because they seem more united & stable. Have you noticed paragraph after paragraph of statements that sound educated, but are nothing more than meaningless fluff?

Think this sounds far-fetched? Fox News does it all the time when they want to win their arguments. The commentators look smart, while the guest speakers look like fools. There's nothing new under the sun.

Dear readers, you've been set up, & so are those here against hypergrace. You were never meant to win this from the beginning. Why else do new hypergrace threads continue to pop up, flooding this site? Who's allowing this? How come there's never a referee when you need one?

If you actually manage to really put a dent in the argument, look at the stats.....you won't stay long.....

The majority will rule..... but their time is short. Their judgement is coming.

Proverbs 28:13 (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP]He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
