Once Saved Always saved....Read this

I have been watching this post and I have to admit I am uneasy with its portrayal of our salvation. Some of the reasoning's behind this statement of "once saved always saved" are irking to me, they don't sit right with my Spirit.

I know I am a "wild olive branch" grafted in to the root stock of the "descendants of Abraham", and as surly as I have been
grafted in I know I can be removed, it says so.

If I were to commit adultery and continue in that, go to a new church or even change my name I know that "Adulterers will not inherit the kingdom of God". Jesus tells us that once we have put our hands to the plough if we look back and turn away we "are not fit to enter the Kingdom of God".

We are told to "Hold close" and to "strive for" when it comes to our eternal reward, as if we might loose it if we don't.
I know by the Spirit that lives within me that it is my choice to let Him be here within me, even David prayed "Take not your Spirit from me".

As I said I have been watching this thread with interest, and will continue to do so, but I feel it is time for me to put in my five penneth worth and see what reaction I get. Plus the sermon on the mount is only a snippet of the teachings of Jesus and it is defiantly relevant to Christian life, as is every word uttered by Jesus when He was on this earth, to say or believe otherwise is very dangerous.

Thats hypergrace. (Or what people have termed to be hypergrace)

No matter what Peter Jens, Herosefromthedead, or anyone else try;s to tell you. From what I have seen, This is hypergrace.

I continue to think you are unstable . You even think I'm defending hyper grace which I'm not! There is no new gospel even if you want it. God, imo, can't use people who have a do nothing attitude

You and I still fall short every day,,

Thus the continued need for Grace,

How can one have hope in christ, if they must rely on themselves.

God can't use people who are trying to be Him. We're branches, not the Vine. Be a branch.

so where is your hope? What kind of faith could you ever have?

Like many, you mentioned adultry, God says if you commit even th eleast of known sins you have broken the law and are guilty,

So what makes you think because you do not willfully commit adultery every day, That you are more righteous, When you commit other sins every day? (Unless you think your perfect and without sin)

I beg of you, Look to the law as a whole. Not as certain sins, Don't water the law down just because it sounds good and religious, and miss the true meaning of grace.

What law? I don't know any Christians that are jews so get off that law stuff

This is not "hypergrace".
Blain has not just describe "hypergrace" but has described the Grace of God through Jesus Christ.

Dude, leave me alone, I made a typo and you think I am unstable?

Get over yourself. You refuse to answer questions, You attack everyone who disagrees with you. And you have no desire to debate.

Your right there is no new gospel. Legalism has been destroyed since pauls day, as has licentiousness (hypergrace as you put it is nothing new, Jude, James and Paul faught it, but you for some reason think you are so smart you found something new)

If your going to attack people. at least study so you do not make yourself look bad.

But we don't live by the Law, Jesus fulfilled the law, we now live by faith and we are given the grace we need that covers our sinful natuer and the Holy Spirit to lead us.
