Wow, definitely not something I could endure. Being diagnosed for having medium depression just a few years ago, it is physically impossible for me to content with being single. I haven't been happy for a long, long time. I know having a mate is not going to solve my problem, she would most likely make me more depressed with her problem now unloading on to me as well. You know what, i gave up on trying to be happy a few years ago. Just give me a partner please Lord. I felt like i am about to explode there, just cannot deal with this any longer.

Relationships like anything else in life, if it is done God's way, it would bring us so much joy it overflows out of our inner most being because we are walking it out in the Holy Spirit by faith. Like all great things God gives us IN Christ are. The relationships God gives would be safe IN Christ and it would be a blessing.
I no longer have the mentality that I don't want this or that because I know myself and "I don't believe I can handle that Lord." Now I say "Lord, YOU can make me able to be successful in those things and I will be willing to learn how - from Your Spirit who teaches me all the OTHER things He is teaching me."
Many people say they don't want to have money because they know themselves and they won't be able to handle it. I can see that God would be like; " ok, I won't bless you with financial blessings because you have declared you will be selfish and not able to handle this blessing nor are you willing to learn...ok, I will not bless you in that way."
I'm not going to stop God from giving the blessings He has for me because I'm too hung up on my own inability and lack of faith. Each day He is teaching me that to be hanging on to Jesus and HIS ability is where the answers are., and where my blessings will come from. And they are ALL good.

I have been content being single for many years now.
Strongly believing in true love, and in meant to be,... is a very beautiful thing if it is what you hope for.
My heart has been ready for a very long time, and though I am not a materialistic person for happiness. In other words...It never mattered to me how much a man's income is...
But...it's ME.
I am the one...who would want a better job to help my true love out with his bills and things.
Until I further my education to be what I want to be...
Well...lol
I am not going to make a man pay for what I didn't do...which is, to be what I'd love to be.
So yea...

I am content. Yesterday I was not. I was mad at God and spouted my venom on another forum since He didn't talk back when I told Him what I thought about it.
A wise mature brother in the Lord said he prayed for me and wanted to pray with me, since I was namely furious that I had to pray alone, no partner, okay, but at least I want a prayer partner. So that is solved. Feel awesome now. Sometimes when I see those angry exchristians I wonder if they never just got mad at God. Jacob wrestled with God.
