Can the enemy read our minds?

In the church, if we do not forgive another, that person may be discouraged, and satan will use that despair to draw the person away from the church and thereby gain an advantage.

"Jesus explained, 'I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does (This guy is our example).'"
 
I met satan when i went to the spiritual world a spirit told me its name was satan and he use to live in heaven and i know that it was really satan i was talking to from the bible when he said that and he could read my mind too

Yes, He is our example.

When it comes to forgiveness, He gave us the ultimate example when He hung on the cross and said Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do (Luke 23:34).

Do you also know that satan is a liar (in fact, he's the father of lies) and that he will tell you things that are not true? and when you believe his lies, you are brought into bondage.

satan cannot read your mind. what he can do, though, is whisper lies to you. don't believe him.

Go to Father in prayer and ask Him to protect your mind. He will do it.

Can the enemy read our minds?
Such a question is asked in fear.
Who cares if he can or cannot.
God gives us the answer.

Ephesians 6:11-12;
"Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil".

If we continue to walk in the Spirit of our Lord, we can and will defeat the enemy.
Jesus used the Word of God to defeat the devil.
We need to do the same.

James 4:7;
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you".

There is nothing in our past or present that the devil can use against us if we continue to follow His Word.
 
I do not believe Satan can read our minds,because although he can observe physical things,and our physical actions,I do not believe he can read our minds,of things that are not of a physical nature,so if you do not show an outward appearance of liking sin,he would not know what your weaknesses are.

If Satan could read our minds it would seem like he would be more effective in deceiving people,for he would know how to strike according to your weaknesses.

God can read our minds,for God knows everything visible,invisible to us,and God can even read the air waves,of radio,and television,that is invisible to us,and everything is in the open,and naked with God,but Satan does not have that ability,for our thoughts are not of physical substance that can be observed with the naked eye,and cannot be observed by Satan.

And concerning our thinking process,how do evolutionists explain that,when it is not physical,how do they explain how that came about,for while our mind is physical,our thinking is not physical substances.

So I would suppose that our thinking is like the air waves,radio,and television,where that is invisible to the human eye,so our thoughts are like that,invisible to Satan.Satan can only observe our actions,but not our thoughts.

I do not believe God created the angels with the ability to read minds,like God did not create people with the ability to read minds,for there is no reason for them to read minds,and it would actually be an invasion of privacy,if angels,and humans,were created to be able to read minds,for it would be like breaking,and entering,a household,and an offense,if angels,and people,could read minds.

God would not allow Satan to have that ability,for while Satan can tempt people,he is also limited,and on a leash,and can only have influence according to people.

I'm not sure how this conversation has gone but folks don't really believe in spiritual things as they should ...every battle we face in this world Is a spiritual one... and yes the devil can read thoughts ..especially if he tempts us with a thought and we follow along with it. We can protect our minds..but it takes some effort most folks don't really want to put forth.

No that is answering with the obvious. If you asked whether or nor stepping off a 100' building would injure you, and I answered by "asking" ........ "Do you believe you can fly?", that actually would not be a question.

And usually people only avoid answering questions if they have been asked so that replying in any manner only serves to give the "answer" the questioner wants. Such as asking a man, "Have you quit beating your wife?"

I think its a good question..because when I started hearing Gods voice ..I understood that every voice was not coming from me and the enemy started talking to me as well ...in fact I have ask God this very question because I couldn't understand what I was hearing and it did seem the enemy was reading my thoughts.

That brings us in line with a variant of Pascal's Wager.
If he can't read out minds, great... so what? Life simply goes on.
But, if he CAN, then we might be smart to stay very aware of that fact. He could raise some real trouble for us if we were oblivious to that.

I don't believe satan can read our minds for all the reasons given above, not the least of which is the fact that he is not omniscient - only God is.

Could he read Jesus' mind when Jesus was being tempted in the desert? No. Or it would not have been necessary for him to ask the questions or make statements to Him, such as: If You Are The Son of God, Command That These Stones Become Bread. If satan could read His mind, he would have known the answer ahead of time. No?

And as to the fear part of your statement. If I'm already thinking as satan would want me to, he's already won. And if I'm not, who cares what he thinks.

Could you explain why you think this question is asked in fear?

Correct. And that SHOULD be the whole point of this thread. Don't be so foolish as to stubbornly "assume" something that could come around to blast you up side the head. That is just plain dumb.

A car may not be running the red light as I cross the street on green. And I assume this is so because I haven't yet been broad-sided. But, WHAT IF A CAR IS RUNNING THE RED LIGHT? I'm dead. End of story.

It's best to be smart, and look for the possibility.

However, what am I actually answering?
You have provided no Scripture.
Are we to just give our opinions and leave it at that?
