Actually, I was criticizing B1 for the tactics he constantly uses, which are usually over nit-picky points.
If you wish to make something else out of that, then have at it.

Most adults can read my post and understand what was being said.

It's you guys (and girl) that apparently LIVE to "fight" on the web that make civil discussion difficult, if not impossible.

To those of you like that, it's a contest to see who can be the nastiest and meanest, and who can come up with the wittiest hateful comment. Whoever does that, WINS...

Why don't you, instead, try to have a civil discussion, disagreeing like adults, and learn to make your points through scripture and logic, instead of confrontation and hatefulness?
I agree, most adults can read your post and understand what was being said.

Ok, yes, Jesus, Yah, and Holy Spirit were always here... But as you said it CAN NOT come to us (Holy Spirit) without Him (Jesus)leaving.. and I don't believe they're all the same thing. The Spirits are just that, ( the Holy Spirit ) is just that, The Spirit of The Word, is just that. They do have to do with one another but are different.

I don't mind discussing with someone who doesn't just stick firmly to stuff, that can be disputed ... I appreciate your humbleness.
Well, we're all just trying to learn, here. It's good when people can discuss, disagree, discuss, then choose to either agree to disagree, or possibly learn something that changes the way they look at something.

It's so much more productive than name-calling and hateful comments...

I appreciate your comments, as well...

and just like that, you overlook the whole point of my comment.

The deity of Christ is not nit-picky.

The belligerent approach used in asking the question is the point. Because someone answers a question a different way than you want is no reason to be rude and hateful.

Wow, indeed.
Belligerent approach, lol.
It was a yes or no question, how stupid are you?

It satisfies the lust of their flesh.

Totally agree but I can see where the flesh can seep in, and get tired of dealing with the same twisting like calling ( Gods Word the Holy Spirit ) or a works based salvation and defend stuff like it tooth and nail.. People's blood probably begins to boil, and I think your right, either they just live to fight or want to be hateful, or is just decieved ... Idk, but I agree this gets childish

sounds like a question a kid would ask. Not question someone seeking to represent God would ask..

Just saying.

The most incorrect statement ever written in CC's history.
Wow, brother, but give them time, they'll probably try to find a way to top it! :D

Just sick of the blatant arrogance and phony superiority by the likes of pilgrimpasting, as stuck-up a woman as there is, jasonj, another condescending pompous false-teacher, hrfd, a very twisted child with comprehension disorder, hornetguy, another condescending one who's afraid of the truth, (but may still have a chance)....

Just sick of their arrogant bs, and ain't taking it anymore.
Ppl want to keep playing patty-cakes and congratulate each other on how sweetly you can chat about doctrines of devils, go ahead. The enemy purrs...like a snake.

I don't have to like the pablum being vomitted up as superior-spirituality when it's nothing more than
condescending egotism, scripture twisting, and denial of the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Typical elitists.

Then water baptism cannot be the source or cause of being born of water/receiving the second birth.

The word "washing" in the Strong's Greek Concordance with Vine's Number 3067 - (Loutron) "a bath, a laver" is used *metaphorically of the Word of God, as the instrument of spiritual cleansing,* Ephesians 5:26; and Titus 3:5, of the "washing of regeneration."

As Greek scholar AT Robertson points out - water baptism is the picture or the symbol of the new birth, not the means of securing it.
But it can be WHERE the new birth happens. Scripture seems to witness this is true, and the earliest church fathers definitely did say that.

In this religion of "no one is regenerated or receives the remission of sins" until they get water baptized. This means that if someone dies before they get water baptized - they have no regeneration nor have received the remission of sins - which means they go to hell. This so clearly violates the gospel on so many levels.

Acts 21 with Peter shows people were sealed with the Holy Spirit before they were water baptized.

Here Paul gives us the way of coming into Christ by faith.

Ephesians 1:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise

CAN BE! but you've spent weeks and posts INSISTING that WITHOUT water-baptism there is no salvation. Are you now changing your stance?

thats what happens with false doctrines. They eventually have to change, because their lie does not have any weight any longer, it will eventually catch up with them.

I'm sick of it to.. and there's some things that are blatant ... Like saying The Word is the Holy Spirit or the 7 Spirits is the Holy Spirit, there's no scripture to back this stuff, at all. Yet theyre able to talk and argue it as if it's fact. It's like what's the argument? Either we believe Jesus or don't ...He said the Comforter can not come unless He go.. Anything else is heresy. I' hear you, but we can't call them stupid and be demeaning .. We must love those who curse us and even twist His Words. I don't have to put up with it though, it's like a circus wheel, and it's the same arguments, then when you show them " it's He who lives in us " or that the comforter can not come unless Jesus go...They've got nothing, absolutely nothing ... Then it's back to throwing water at us with the works of the water. Smh.. but try to cool down and just avoid them like the plague.

Those who believe that (water) baptism is required for salvation are quick to use 1 Peter 3:21 as a “proof text,” because it states “baptism now saves you.” Was Peter really saying that the act of being baptized is what saves us? If he were, he would be contradicting many other passages of Scripture that clearly show people being saved (as evidenced by their receiving the Holy Spirit) prior to being baptized or without being baptized at all (like the thief on the cross in Luke 23:39-43). A good example of someone who was saved before being baptized is Cornelius and his household in Acts 10. We know that they were saved before being baptized because they had received the Holy Spirit, which is the evidence of salvation (Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13; 1 John 3:24). The evidence of their salvation was the reason Peter allowed them to be baptized. Countless passages of Scripture clearly teach that salvation comes when one believes in the gospel, at which time he or she is sealed “in Christ with the Holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:13).

Thankfully, though, we don’t have to guess at what Peter means in this verse because he clarifies that for us with the phrase “not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience.” While Peter is connecting baptism with salvation, it is not the act of being baptized that he is referring to (not the removal of dirt from the flesh). Being immersed in water does nothing but wash away dirt. What Peter is referring to is what baptism represents, which is what saves us (an appeal to God for a good conscience through the resurrection of Jesus Christ). In other words, Peter is simply connecting baptism with belief. It is not the getting-wet part that saves but is the “appeal to God for a clean conscience” which is signified by baptism, that saves us. The appeal to God always comes first. First belief and repentance, then we are baptized to publicly identify ourselves with Christ.
Does 1 Peter 3:21 teach that baptism is necessary for salvation?

It is true that this was said by some and inferred by others that they thought the same thing by posting scriptures to try to show that this was true but unfortunately those threads got deleted because of the numerous attacks from both sides of the discussion.

It was definitely said that regeneration of the believer and the remission of sins does not happen unless they are water baptized.

These records are lost forever and we do sometimes change our minds ( we repent ) when we see the clear scriptures in light of how the bible unfolds in Acts as time goes by.
