I am 5'9" and while I am generally satisfied with my physical appearance, I sometimes wished I was a few inches taller. And maybe a somewhat thicker bone structure.

In my youth I played baseball with some excellent players one of whom later played MLB for many years. As kids we were the same size and I was his captain. Had I continued to grow in size and strength, I could well have been a major leaguer. Just imagine how many girl friends I would have had!

From a short girl's perspective: I'm 5'2" so my reaction to finding a guy shorter than me is usually surprise, since I've rarely seen a guy close to my age who is shorter. But so what??? I've never really understood the height issue. To me, it's like saying "would you not date a guy that has dark hair?" what does it matter? Actually, being rather well-built, it MIGHT bother me if the guy weighed less than I did, but I think I could get over it

Being a political moderate (I was banned from a liberal website that will not be mentioned here) I should have had sweethearts from both sides of the political aisle. But yes, you are correct that most gals seem to prefer guys from the right side.
I can honestly say that Id be 110% fine with being with a girl that were taller than me : p
