My attitude is whatever I get,is what I get,for although I want to be the best I can be,but if I am the least of all the saints, received the least reward for my works, was in the back row as the saints were gathered before Christ,as long as I make it to heaven to be with Jesus, that is all that matters.

We either receive by grace through faith Christ's gift of righteousness alone or we try to establish our own. One is the true gospel of Christ - the later is NOT the gospel.
Amen! Romans 10:3 - For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Philippians 3:9 - and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

No, we are not the righteousness of GOD. Christ is. He's proven his walk. We have yet to prove ours.

We are the righteousness of God. 2 Cor 5: 21.
We have the Righteous God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost in us, how much more righteous do you want to get??.

That verse doesn't say what you say it says. The words might be made (the righteousness of GOD) are there for a reason.

The usage of the Greek word "hina" which means "so that" is before "we might become" It is a statement of fact. Jesus became sin so that we could become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NASB)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

The subjunctive in Greek in some cases is used because a "dependent clause" has been made. In this case - "Jesus became sin" -
this is the dependent clause.

Here is an example =
"I went to the bank so that I may give you some money." - going to the bank was the "dependent clause"

Here is the resource for this: ( I realize this conflicts with some religious beliefs )

The subjunctive mood is used in both independent (main) and depended (subordinate) clauses

More Detailed Use of the Greek Subjunctive Mood - Framed View

HeRose - There are a few of us that are very concerned about you as you seem to have very little understanding of the gospel. Being made righteous by the work of Christ should be cemented into our minds as believers in Christ.

I was especially concerned when a few weeks ago you told me that people are not born-again until they have their new bodies. I was always wondering why you cannot seem to see the new birth in Christ and how that we have a new inner man created in Christ in righteousness and holiness. Eph 4:22-13

I sincerely urge you to seek the Lord on this.

That's true that Jesus' work of being a sin offering is in the indicative mood (accomplised fact). That fact enables the possibility to become the righteousness of GOD (so that). The verb become is in the subjunctive mood, which indicates the possibility of something happening, but not the certainty that it will happen, or that it is an accomplished fact.

The last time you said this - Angela53510 who was studying this out in her greek lessons had this to say to you concerning this.

You really need to understand and hear the gospel in order to get this righteousness down in your thinking. This will stop attempts at "maintaining" our own righteousness and instead submitting ourselves to Christ's righteousness. At some point we need to really believe in what Jesus has done for us.

Here is a little bit of what she said concerning the "subjunctive and the possibility".

Quote:

The word ἵνα (hina) plus the subjunctive has two possible functions in the sentence. One is "purpose" the other is "Purpose-Result." (There is also a very rare third possibility - "consequence not intended.")

However, in many cases, purpose and result cannot be clearly differentiated, hence, ἵνα is used for the result which follows accorded to the purpose of the subject or of God. As in Jewish and pagan thought, purpose and result are identical in declarations of the divine will. The Semitic mind was notoriously unwilling to draw a sharp dividing line between purpose and consequence.

In other words, NT writers employ the language to reflect their theology:

"what God purposes is what happens, consequently,
ἵνα is used to express both divine purpose and the result."

Unquote

The true believer in Christ will never be more righteous then they are now IF they are in Christ because they have His righteousness.

Seems most everyone thinks anointing (power) is salvation.

Unrighteous humans do not receive the anointing

The words, " That we might be made the righteousness of God", Is there for a reason, To tell us that we ARE the righteousness of God.

We pray, sometimes we get results, but mostly no. Nothing.

So,where do we go from here?

We go higher. We admit the problem is us.
Maybe the problem is that your beliefs are wrong and reality doesn't work that way?

Why are we against this????
Maybe because it's simply wrong?

All I need is one example. That would destroy your deal.

Uh,there are too many to list.

Do a study on the anointing.

Under your illusion,God goes backwards.

The reason for Jesus resurrection was to pave the way to heaven.

The reason for the power, was to EMPOWER US IN THIS LIFE FOR OUR PERSONAL WALK,AND THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY.

"...but it is expedient for you sakes that I go,and I will send the comforter..."

"..but ye shall receive power after the HS is come on you..."

So few have any knowledge. Is it "teachers"? Attitude? Indifference?

There is a cry within the believer. We see elijah and the power, and the miracles. The decisiveness.
We see elisha, who would not leave the side of elijah, for fear of the mantle eluding him.

We see Elisha order his servant "take my rod,and lay it next to the child, and the child will recover. NOTHING HAPPENED. So,that was it right? no miracle.

No sir. He went to the child, lay on top of the body, and the child came back to life.

Elisha did twice what Elijah did.

Now ff to Jesus walking amongst us. WHO DID HE INVOKE? Elijah. The fore runner.

Now this same Jesus, our forerunner, gave us the promise of Elijah. "Greater works than theses will you do"

Amazing. God invokes man.
Why?

It is heaven's protocol.

Jesus handed us the power. We pray, sometimes we get results, but mostly no. Nothing.

So,where do we go from here?

We go higher. We admit the problem is us. We look to heaven for answers.

But we let the hunger intensify. In fact we stoke those flames. Just a little spark can start a massive fire.

I want more power. I want want the power of heaven like elisha had. I say with Paul,I will be behind on no gift.

Why are we against this????
Does any man have the power you desire?? Even our Lord as a man said, "The Son can do nothing of Himself..", and, "I can do nothing on My own initiative" (John 5:19, 5:30). I don't see that God gives His power away. I don't see that He even can. But I do see Him working His power in and through those who like Jesus, only imperfectly, are trusting and depending upon Him. A person living in complete trust and dependency upon God is a person who God can accomplish anything He desires to do through.

Well there are literally hundreds of examples.

Where in the world do you hang out?

To take that position, you would need about a fourth of the Bible edited or just removed

You can't go higher than Jesus lest you act like satan..."i will ascend to be like the Most High".

Isaiah 14:14-15 KJVS
[14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. [15] Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

I wonder what would happen if the cessationist dared to read the dreaded power verses.

They would either get extremely angry at those disenfranchised "teachers",or revival would break out.

Maybe both!!!
