Every time VCO you ask a dead person to Pray for you, you ARE praying to that person as a god.

Instead you need to be asking God to pray for you. You need to ask God to protect you.

Why do you refuse to ask God only? Could it be because you do not follow God?

Also in order for Mary and other people to hear your Prayers they need to be Omnipresence! Only by being Omnipresence can they hear your Prayers! And in answering your Prayers they need to be Omniscience!

So in other words you believe Mary is Omnipresence and Omniscience. ONLY God is Omnipresence and Omniscience!

Therefore you VCO have just declared Mary to be EQUAL to God!

This is what is totally wrong with the Catholics today. They actually believe Mary is equal to God. This is what we TRUE Children of God are to expose to the World, the lies of the Catholics.

Mary's spirit/soul, whatever, may be in heaven, but she CANNOT answer prayers. Only Jesus can do that. She cannot mediate on our behalf, because Jesus is our ONLY mediator.

But that is the question. Does God per romans 5 see the child as innocent, He sees sin in ALL.
Rom 5: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
How does a child transgress the law of which he has no knowledge?
he meant only that he would die, and go to Sheol (the grave world)
So says you. David knew he would see the child after he, David, died. As in the kingdom of God.
GOD is the ultimate believer in the Law. He gave it.
God gave it because Israel pled with Him to give it. There is no mercy in the law only death.
and that includes EVERYONE. But He does not save everyone.
I seriously doubt that a child or an infant has the ability to reject Gods grace. There is an age of accountability.
Spiritual death in the OT is a man made concept.[/quote[ Here you just went around the bend. The concept of Spiritual death was laid in the garden. Adam died Spiritually the moment he transgressed against God. He did not die physically until much later.
I say NOTHING about children for GOD does not. But God said they died with Adam, and that is spiritual death in Roman 5.
Go back and learn correctly what is written there because you are bringing a prejudice to the scriptures that is in opposition to the character and nature of God.
Mine is the message of romans 5 not a manmade philosophy like yours.

If any babe is saved, and I do not deny that some are saved, it is saved by the grace of God..
sigh you are teaching man made doctrine and accuse others when you are brought to face the silliness of your doctrine.
you mean for the cause of Roger.
This reveals that you know you are without merit in your argument so you resort to unnecessary aspersions toward other posters. Pitiful conduct.

Like i said before and totally believe if Catholics would reject Mary and follow God only, they would then know the Truth in the Scriptures.

But as long as the Catholics keep on Worshiping Mary, God will continue to blind their eyes to the Truth in the Scriptures.

You know KEN, that is the most ridiculous post and accusation you have ever come up with. In my opinion there is absolutely NO difference between asking living brother or sister to pray for you, or asking one who has gone home to the Lord to pray for you. The DIFFERENCE IS IN YOUR MIND BECAUSE YOU WANT AN EXCUSE TO HATE THE CATHOLICS.

1 John 2:9 (RSV)

QUOTE:

THE CATHOLIC CATECHISM:

. . .

105 God is the author of Sacred Scripture. "The divinely revealed realities, which are contained and presented in the text of Sacred Scripture, have been written down under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit."

. . .

107 The inspired books teach the truth. "Since therefore all that the inspired authors or sacred writers affirm should be regarded as affirmed by the Holy Spirit, we must acknowledge that the books of Scripture firmly, faithfully, and without error teach that truth which God, for the sake of our salvation, wished to see confided to the Sacred Scriptures."

. . .

II. "I Know Whom I Have Believed"[SUP]16[/SUP]

To believe in God alone

150 Faith is first of all a personal adherence of man to God. At the same time, and inseparably, it is a free assent to the whole truth that God has revealed. As personal adherence to God and assent to his truth, Christian faith differs from our faith in any human person. It is right and just to entrust oneself wholly to God and to believe absolutely what he says. It would be futile and false to place such faith in a creature.[SUP]17[/SUP]
To believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God

151 For a Christian, believing in God cannot be separated from believing in the One he sent, his "beloved Son", in whom the Father is "well pleased"; God tells us to listen to him.[SUP]18[/SUP] The Lord himself said to his disciples: "Believe in God, believe also in me."[SUP]19[/SUP] We can believe in Jesus Christ because he is himself God, the Word made flesh: "No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known."[SUP]20[/SUP] Because he "has seen the Father", Jesus Christ is the only one who knows him and can reveal him.[SUP]21[/SUP]
To believe in the Holy Spirit

152 One cannot believe in Jesus Christ without sharing in his Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who reveals to men who Jesus is. For "no one can say "Jesus is Lord", except by the Holy Spirit",[SUP]22[/SUP] who "searches everything, even the depths of God. . No one comprehends the thoughts of God, except the Spirit of God."[SUP]23[/SUP] Only God knows God completely: we believe in the Holy Spirit because he is God.

The Church never ceases to proclaim her faith in one only God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

16 - 2 Tim 1:12,
17 - Jer 17:5-6; Ps 40:5; 146:3-4,
18 - Mk 1:11; 9:7,
19 - Jn 14:1,
20 - Jn 1:18,
21 - Jn 6:46; Mt 11:27,
22 - I Cor 12:3,
23 - I Cor 2:10-11.

. . .

156 What moves us to believe is not the fact that revealed truths appear as true and intelligible in the light of our natural reason: we believe "because of the authority of God himself who reveals them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived". So "that the submission of our faith might nevertheless be in accordance with reason, God willed that external proofs of his Revelation should be joined to the internal helps of the Holy Spirit." Thus the miracles of Christ and the saints, prophecies, the Church's growth and holiness, and her fruitfulness and stability "are the most certain signs of divine Revelation, adapted to the intelligence of all"; they are "motives of credibility" (motiva credibilitatis), which show that the assent of faith is "by no means a blind impulse of the mind".

. . .

162 Faith is an entirely free gift that God makes to man.

. . .

178 We must believe in no one but God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
179 Faith is a supernatural gift from God. In order to believe, man needs the interior helps of the Holy Spirit.

. . .

781 Conscience enables one to assume responsibility for the acts performed. If man commits evil, the just judgment of conscience can remain within him as the witness to the universal truth of the good, at the same time as the evil of his particular choice. the verdict of the judgment of conscience remains a pledge of hope and mercy. In attesting to the fault committed, it calls to mind the forgiveness that must be asked, the good that must still be practiced, and the virtue that must be constantly cultivated with the grace of God:

. . .

1847 "God created us without us: but he did not will to save us without us." To receive his mercy, we must admit our faults. "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

END QUOTE

Now may I suggest that YOU repent of the false statements and untruths that you have been spreading about our Christian Brothers and Sisters the Catholics. As far as I know, every Catholic still has to study this Catechism and take a test on it, before he or she can be Confirmed in the Catholic Church. Do I believe they have some false ideas in the Catholic Church? Sure, BUT SO DO THE PROTESTANTS. And if your denominational bigotry was taught to you by your Church, then YOUR CHURCH too, has some serious false teachings. Do I believe there is such a thing as a PERFECT denominational Church that has EVERYTHING RIGHT? NO! I believe fallible human beings, never have been perfect, and will not be Perfect until we get that infallible, glorified body when HE calls us out of this earth.

That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask,
it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

If Mary is in heaven and not earth how do you know something will be done by the Father in heaven for you if Jesus specified two agreeing on the earth concerning a thing

1. In order for Mary to hear everybody Praying to her she needs to be Omnipresence.
2. In order for Mary to answer those Praying to her she needs to be Omniscience.

Omnipresence and Omniscience are two attributes of God.

Omnipresence and Omniscience of God.
Psalm 139:1-6
O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thought from afar.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, O Lord, You know it all.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]You have enclosed me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is too high, I cannot attain to it.

By saying Mary can hear and answer our Prayes you are saying Mary is God.

This is what that is very wrong with the Catholic Church today. Mary is not a god but yet you Catholics in your blindness have made Mary to be your god.

Also Mary was born with sin and died a sinner.

Romans 3:10-12
[SUP]10 [/SUP]as it is written,“There is none righteous, not even one;
[SUP]11 [/SUP]There is none who understands,
There is none who seeks for God;
[SUP]12 [/SUP]All have turned aside, together they have become useless;
There is none who does good,
There is not even one.”

Romans 3:23
[SUP]23 [/SUP]for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 5:12
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
[SUP]13 [/SUP]But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. [SUP]14 [/SUP]For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. [SUP]15 [/SUP]For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. [SUP]16 [/SUP]For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. [SUP]17 [/SUP]Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. [SUP]18 [/SUP]Therefore comfort one another with these words.

God clearly has said ALL have sinned and ALL includes Mary. But yet the Popes of the Catholic Church has spit in God's eye calling Him a liar and proclaimed Mary to be sinless. Why are you defending the Corrupted Catholic Church?

Also Mary is still in the Grave, therefore she cannot hear your Prayers.

This is why today the Catholic Church is a false Church, following and Worshiping Mary as a god.

Repent, reject Mary, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and you too will be in Heaven with me.

I appreciate the effort you have put forth to establish your position. The RCC catechisms are written to be taught in a specific manner and are intended to indoctrinate young people into a religious dogma. The catechisms can be nuanced into good and bad teachings depending on the teacher. Mere mental assent is not saving grace. One must not only know who Jesus is but know Jesus on a personal level.

Is grace Gods grace wholly sufficient to save one from eternal condemnation?

What part do the sacraments have in grace?

Is the blood of Jesus Christ wholly sufficient to atone for all our sins?

Gen 3: 8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

God seeks and desires personal fellowship with us. The God who created the universe desires to commune with us even more so now that He has redeemed us and restored us to have fellowship with Him unabridged by sin.

We Christians never have to study and take a test to be part of the Church which is Jesus.

This is just another form of brain washing the Catholics do to justify their believe that Mary was sinless.

Rom 5: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
How does a child transgress the law of which he has no knowledge?
In Adam.

So says you. David knew he would see the child after he, David, died. As in the kingdom of God
.

Prove that from the Scriptures existing at the time.

God gave it because Israel pled with Him to give it. There is no mercy in the law only death.
GOD gave the Law without Israel pleading for it (Exod 20), He gave it that the offence might abound.

I seriously doubt that a child or an infant has the ability to reject Gods grace. There is an age of accountability.
man's philosophy. God said Adam rejected on his behalf. (Rom 5)

Spiritual death in the OT is a man made concept.
here you just went around the bend. The concept of Spiritual death was laid in the garden. Adam died Spiritually the moment he transgressed against God. He did not die physically until much later.
prove it. That is our terminology not his or moses. spiritual death was unknown

You VCO says in 107 The inspired books teach the truth.

Then why do you REJECT the Truth from Romans 3:23 and Romans 5:12?

Romans 3:23
[SUP]23 [/SUP]for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 5:12
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned

All includes Mary. I do know for a fact the Catholics have changed the meaning of all. They now say all only means a few.

Is this what the Catholic Church is all about Today? Deceiving people with their lies? Twisting the Truth from God to justify their Worship of Mary as their god?

I can tell you really do not believe the Inspired Books teach the Truth for if you did you would have to then accept that Mary was a sinner just like you and just like me.

So why are you teaching lies about Mary being sinless?

God has judged you for this VCO. This is why God has hidden the Truth from you. God will not allow you any more to see the Truth in the Scriptures.

Circular reasoning.
Prove that from the Scriptures existing at the time.
2 Sam 12:23
GOD gave the Law without Israel pleading for it (Exod 20), He gave it that the offence might abound.
Israel asked for the law that they might show God how faithful they would be. God never suggested that they needed a law. The law made sin personal.
man's philosophy. God said Adam rejected on his behalf. (Rom 5)
If it makes you feel superior then I guess you will just have to proceed in your error.
prove it. That is our terminology not his or moses. spiritual death was unknown

God said it and that settles it whether you believe it or not.

You are missing the point valiant.

When Jesus died on the Cross His Blood washed everybody clean of their sins.

1 John 1:7
[SUP]7 [/SUP]but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

We therefore have no sin in us. All the sins of everybody past, present, and future, have been washed clean. We are not judged anymore by our sins.

Arguing about a child and sins is not what its about. We are judge by only one thing and that is "have we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior".

A child cannot make that kind of decision until he reaches a certain age.

Therefore if a child dies before he can understand and make that decision he will enter into Heaven.

o ta
Jesus was using Abraham as HIS mouthpiece. It is foolish take this story literally.

since when was Elijah dead? or even Moses? But they were there for a special purpose. They were talking with GOD. not hearing someone and praying for someone,[

To GOD alone.

Actually there are some in the OT. e,g, 'The dead know not anything.'

I believe they can talk to God, not to men.

pure speculation and sentimentality.

that is more Scriptural :)

CHAPTER AND VERSE

You have forgotten the biographical story of Lazarus and the Rich man. But of course you will have to deny that it is biographical, just to cling to you unsubstantiated strange beliefs.

Tell me something Valiant, since some of my ancestors come from England, and some from Southern Ireland; how come NONE OF THEM, has the same strange beliefs you do?

Hey Demi.

I have been offline for a long time. Sorry I haven't responded in awhile.

It would be quite a discussion to figure out what is going on between the verse you quoted above and the verse I am referring to. I know how my church harmonizes those texts. My question to you was how do you or your church harmonize them? The verse I am referring to is found in every Bible I have looked at...not just a Catholic Bible.

My question was with Matthew 28:19 which is found in many of the translations (I didn't check them all) you showed above. I'll just cite 3 for now:

Those are the words of Jesus Christ. How do you harmonize those? Just curious.

God bless.

p.s. (I still giggle about the flying Jesus...gotta show that to some of my friends.)

NOTHING is central to faith unless Scripture TEACHES it.
Hey valiant,

So.....where is that very idea taught in Scripture?

And if it is not, shouldn't we just ignore that statement of yours as being your tradition then?

Peace.

Hey BeyondET,

Holy Smokes!! (pun intended :) )

Based on what you wrote....I was waiting for someone to step out and get clobbered!

I wouldn't say "theatrics", though. How about "excessive enthusiasm with Malachi 1:11"?

" For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts." (KJV)

Well, maybe "theatrics" works now that I look again. Look at all of the people filming the swinging incense.

God bless.
