Electricity OK to use on the Sabbath?
I've heard that argument a few dozen times already. I am not sure how it's done where you live, but our electric place is closed on Saturday. I think it is pretty much automated. Either way, if that makes me guilty, then I have to change, NOT God.

not in the least. God's Sabbath will be honored when Messiah returns. Then there will not be people standing around saying, "wait, we are under grace". The Sabbath is not bondage. It is a delight. Why do you (seem to) hate the Sabbath?
Ummmmm, the "Messiah" IS Jesus Christ, and He is our true sabbath rest that the day was only a shadow of.

Why do you hate Gods grace and come here and try to place free Christians under Law?

to say jesus replaced the 4th commandment is a private interpretation of Scripture.

No, it's a correct interpretation of Scripture. What the Law was powerless to do, Christ does. He actually gives us the rest that that old obsolete commandment could only demand you try to achieve on your own. We all know how well that worked out.

you must not listen to the words of the Messiah?

But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void.
(Luke 16:17)

Now, take a peek out your window. Still see the earth?

Sounds like electricity not OK to use on Sabbath, then
In a legalistic sort of Pharisee way, I think you could make that case, sorta.
I don't work or shop on the Sabbath, not even for gas. (we plan ahead). I don't directly force anyone to work for me. Again, you could make the case, sorta, that by using electricity I may be forcing people to work. This is not the first time this subject has been discussed. However, it may be that I need to make changes, not God.

No need for any change on your part disciplemike. Next thing ya might hear is we are not aloud to breath on the sabbath because the trees work to produce oxygen on the sabbath. They are really reaching

Jesus is our Sabbath rest . He fulfilled all the law. Don't be like the original Israelites that refused to believe in what God has said and thus died in the wilderness. The law is a mere shadow of the real thing - Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4:9-10 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God.

[SUP]10 [/SUP] For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.

Hebrews 4:11 (NASB)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience.

Christ is our life now - not any law from the Old Covenant. These below are the laws for the true New Covenant believer in the Lord Jesus Christ

1) We live by the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus

2) the law of love

3) the law of faith ( the law is NOT of faith - even the Sabbath day in the Old Covenant )

4) the law of liberty in Christ Jesus

5) the law of Christ - Jesus Himself in us - living His life through and in us - bearing His fruit in us - His branches.

I don't need to "obey" Lev 18:23 as the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus will manifest in me to not want to have sex with animals.

We can trust the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives and not to go back to the law. Going back to the law for life is committing spiritual authority on the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 7:1-6

There are Christians that believe they are free from the law, and they think you are trying to take Jesus out of their hearts if you tell them to keep the law. I'm going to make this as simple as possible.

1 Corinthians 5: 7Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Exodus 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. 49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

If you want to partake of the body of the Lamb, then you must be circumcised.

Galatians 5:1-4 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

[SUP]2 [/SUP] Behold I, Paul, say to you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you.

[SUP]3 [/SUP] And I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law.

[SUP]4 [/SUP] You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

I'm not claiming being justified by the law. I claim that being circumcised is required to partake of the Passover and that keeping the law is a good way to show God that we love him and want to obey his voice.

I don't understand what Paul says at times and sometimes I don't believe it at all, because we don't have to. Paul was a man and a Pharisee of the tribe of Benjamin. Beware the leavening of the Pharisses. Beware of wolves in sheeps clothing. Benjamin is a ravening wolf. You know those who say they are apostles and are not. In Acts he is blinded, astonished, and his knowledge is said to have driven him mad, which are all curses from Deuteronomy 28:28. So, I'm more than a bit apprehensive when hearing Paul.

"Christians" who don't want to obey commandments won't be persecuted. The world will love them.
Yet you've posted on here on "the specific" Sabbath, and dodge whenever someone bring up the point it takes work to have a website running. Each time you post, you cause people to work.
