It's already been said, but it depends on the people. For me personally, I would want to wait at least six months. Even then you're still getting to know someone. My cousin has been seeing the same guy for a few years. Got engaged on April 1 last year. Getting married this Veterans day. Another coupe has been seeing each other for 5-6, and they're not engaged. So it really depends on the people. I will say, though, I never understood how people can just get engaged a few weeks in. I mean congrats for being married 20, 30, and 40 years later. But research shows those who just go with it practicaply after the first day , their marriages generally don't last. I also don't understand how Christians say things like "I saw him/her for the first time and just knew." You don't just know because people change. I also don't in that because Christians generally say "he's/she's the one" and then all of a sudden is saying the same thing about a new person. We tend to be leading and wanting to be in control. All in all, I guess maybe you can say I'm a bit skeptical and need God to do a lot of mending. But then again the Bible says not everyone is to be married.
