I just pointed out to you that "Christ" is not His name. Our western mentality can play tricks on us, with a little help from the real trickster.
Most modern translations use "the Christ" in some of those verses. The definite article, "the", makes it more appropriate.

It's obvious you like to reject Christ but the fact remains that Christ is a "He" and His other name is Jesus which are shown throughout the New testament scriptures. His full name is the Lord Jesus Christ.

When you are free from your religion of law-keeping - you will come to appreciate Him for who He really is to us that believe in Him and all that He has already done for us on the cross and in His resurrection.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

I'm pretty sure it is you that is trying to make the Lord into a liar.

Not one jot or one tittle shall pass from the law UNTIL ALL BE FULFILLED.

But you, and the rest of your group, say that some of the law is done away with, some jots and tittles have passed from the law, but we definitely need to work at the other parts that remain.

This is something you need to reconcile. You are following a lie, and I think you know it.

But if all is fulfilled and those who come to Christ are not under Law but under Grace, it all starts to make sense.

I quoted the wrong post on that one.

Sorry FreeNChrist.

I meant to quote one of the Judaizers...

OK, I see where you're coming from now. You never made the accusation that I think I'm justified by the Law. You were bringing in a different point about being justified. You never made that accusation of me, so I apologize for saying you did. Please forgive me.

So to be clear then, do you think I claim to be perfected by the Law?
No. You don't think you are perfected or saved by the law.

But you still place yourself under the law. For what purpose, I don't really know.

LOL..I thought so...when I initially saw your post - I said..."FreeNChrist is definitely not anti-Christ in his beliefs"...:)..I knew there had to be some sort of a mix-up. He is definitely not a Judaizer too.

I think i am starting to understand why the old testament is written very different to the new testament and why there is so much violence in the old, so much wars, death etc. etc.

1 Corinthians 2:11-14
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.
But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

The spirit of god didn't really come into man, until after Christ was crucified, now if i really think about, the old testament would of been written with the spirit of man, who knows no things of the spirit of god. Im sure they did their best trying to explain it but still, it was written through the spirit of man, and no spirit of man, cannot understand godly things fully or spiritual. Therefore it was written with man's perception of god so to speak.

Now the new testament was written by people with the spirit of god. The spirit of God came at the Pentecost right? So most the new testament was written through the Spirit of God and not the spirit of Man

Psalm 19:7-11, “The Torah of יהוה is perfect, bringing back the being; The witness of יהוה is trustworthy, making wise the simple; The orders of יהוה are straight, rejoicing the heart; The command of יהוה is clear, enlightening the eyes; The fear of יהוה is clean, standing forever; The right-rulings of יהוה are true, They are righteous altogether, More desirable than gold, Than much fine gold; And sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. Also, Your servant is warned by them, In guarding them there is great reward.”

Luk 12:4-7, “But I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that are unable to do any more. But I shall show you whom you should fear: Fear the One who, after killing, possesses authority to cast into Gehenna. Yea, I say to you, fear Him! Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before Yah. But even the hairs of your head have all been numbered. Do not fear, you are worth more than many sparrows.
Mattithyah 7:12-14, "Therefore, all things you want men to do to you, do the same to them, for this is (the intent of the) Law and the Prophets. Enter in through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who go that way. Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way which leads to life, and few there are who find it."

Absolutely ! However , there is a lot of wisdom in the Law for everyday living. Remember it was given to govern a nation.

Like, taking your potty out and burying it. Or not eating cats, magpies , or even pork or shell fish. Pork is yummy, but it really is an unhealthy food. Restitution principles . Sexual forbiddens, etc....
Please explain how pork is an "unhealthy food"....

If you notice the unclean meats listed in the Bible most of them are on garbage detail. Pigs will eat anything, vultures eat dead animals, shrimp clean the scum from the bottom of the ocean, as do catfish, hooves have to be split and chew cud to be a clean animal, must have scales and fins to be clean fish, and so on....

Would you go and fine dine out of the back of a garbage truck? Doesn't sound to appealing does it? Well God in His wisdom asked us to eat things that were the most beneficial for us and asked us to stay away from the garbage trucks. Best I can to help explain God's request for our diet.

I was asking, specifically, how is pork "unhealthy"....

I understand why the Jews were told to not eat those things, but we were set free from that....

So, why, physically, is pork "unhealthy"?

If I eat pork, will it stunt my growth? Will my hair fall out? Will my children be born naked?

I'm just curious what the danger is in eating pork.

Eating pork products, which are loaded with artery-clogging cholesterol and saturated fat, is a good way to increase your waistline and increase your chances of developing deadly diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, Alzheimer's, asthma, and impotence.

Jesus (or Jeshua, however you like it, personally my native tongue is English) perfectly kept and fulfilled the law, period, and then sat down on the right hand of God. Then some 2000 years later God identified me with Christ on the tree, when he died I die; I don't understand it just thank God for it. Now after the New Birth began I read in God's letter to me to sit down because there is no more labor to finish after Jesus put his PERIOD when he said, IT IS FINISHED.

Yes, I suppose all of that has some truth in it.... but beef is actually higher in cholesterol than pork...

Fantastic! Meat is one of the biggest, most well known causes of cancer. I visited this topic in another thread, albeit with a bit of sense of humour,
elucidating the severe dangers and consequences it has for our health.

I got that feeling when I was visiting my sister at the hospital and I popped down to the cafeteria for a snack. They were serving lasagna... I got the impression they were trying to drum up business for their new cardiac wing. "Here, enjoy it. See you soon!"

That is the most articulate advertisement for artery clogging food aka poison I've seen in a long time. Great idea.

Some Bible foods are high in fat

EXODUS 3:8 and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with

milk

and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
