Oftentimes when I shop at WalMart I get thing's that the preschool where I work needs. Yesterday the Director gave me a small list and asked if I could pick some stuff up while I was shopping? I get reimbursed.
So yesterday I bought, 35 boxes of Crayola Crayons, hand soap, dish towels, Dish Soap a roasted chicken, some Pokemon card's, two t shirts, and some hair dye. I wonder if the cashier thought I really liked to color, play Pokemon, eat chicken while dying my hair?
One time I was at the dollar tree with my daughter and also bought some thing's for the school. Playdough, glue sticks, some sight word flash cards and my daughter bought a couple thing's. I think the total was about 25 dollars. So the cashier is ringing my stuff up and looks at my daughter then me and says, I can't believe you're buying her all this stuff. I was a little take back and said, I work at school she doesn't need 6 packs of glue sticks. Then she said, well that's good. So my daughter is looking at me like, what? So I said, uh, it's really my business what I decide to buy my child, isn't it? Then she said, well I guess, I was just saying. So I said, okay then, but it's really my business, isn't it? She gave me a dirty look and we paid took our stuff and left. She still works there and every now and then I have to go through her line when I'm there. She may not remember me, but last time I was there she complained about a customer who's child coughed. So of course I said, well people cough sometimes. But she always talks about stuff people buy. Guy in front of me last time had cat food a big can and she said, oh cat food. He said, yeah I have a cat, lol. I think she just annoys me.
Do do any of you ever have a cashier that makes a comment on your purchases?
