Hi everyone! My name is Kelly. I'm 40 years old & still single. Just looking for some support, maybe someone who can relate. I believe that God orders our steps. Trying to put my trust in Him & honor His will for my life

Well, half my church is from Ohio. Most from the Columbus Vineyard.

Our church was planted out of Columbus. You must know Rich Nathan.

Hi Kelly -

Not from Ohio, but in California. However, I-80 runs through both states, so technically, I am just down the street from you! Welcome to CC!

I'm sure that once you get to know a few of the member that you will find a few, or least one that you can relate to. You are putting your trust in the right place by trusting in God. There are a lot of singles here on this site so please know that you are not alone. Glad to have you as a member of our family Welcome to CC.

Spartans look to be good too this year. Maybe you will hear a lot from her. You just never know. She's probably a Buckeye fan so things maybe problematic at times. You can still have some tailgate parties though.

Hi Kel! Welcome. Im currently in TN ...its close
Geographically it's close. Gastronomically it's another country. Can't get real buttermilk biscuits, can't get real sweet iced tea, can't get fried green tomatoes (and that stuff in a bag in the Wal-Mart freezer section is NOT real fried green tomatoes) can't get cornbread without sugar in it... I'm in TN and I'm STAYING in TN. :p

But howdy anyway Kel. Come on down to Tennessee some time and we'll feed you a good meal.

I do love TN's real sweet tea and buttermilk biscuits!! I hear there are a few folks who make great pierogis and kolachkis here as well ;-)

Aaaaaannnddd... once again, a thread is rightly and properly derailed by... food. :)

Welcome again, Kel, from your far-northern neighbour.

I just visited your state for the first time a few weeks ago:) I spent most of the time in Louisville. I loved the city. I had no idea how green and pristine Kentucky is. It's very beautiful. Churchill Downs was really cool to visit.

Hi Kelly! I'm not from Ohio but I am from Kentucky. I am just a little younger than you are and I know it can be difficult.
